Benedikt syndrome

Pronunciation: ben'e-dikt

Definition: upsilateral oculomotor paralysis with contralateral tremor and hemiparesis due to a lesion (most often infarct or tumor) involving the red nucleus and corticospinal tract in the tegmentum of the midbrain.
