Arneth stages

Pronunciation: ahr-net'

Definition: a differential grouping of polymorphonuclear neutrophils in accordance with the number of lobes in their nuclei, cells with one, two, three, four, or five (or more) lobes are designated, respectively, as class I, II, etc.
