apical (bronchopulmonary) segment [S I]
Definition: of the three bronchopulmonary segments comprising the superior lobe of the right lung, the one extending to the highest level (into the cervical parietal pleura) that is supplied by the apical segmental bronchus [B I] and the apical segmental (pulmonary) artery.
