Definition: calcification of lamina basalis choroideae visible in the peripapillary fundus oculi; associated with pseudoexanthoma elasticum, sickle cell disease, and Paget disease; predisposing to choroidal neovascularization.

Synonym(s): elastosis dystrophica, Knapp streaks, Knapp striae
