Pronunciation: as′il-ă-den′il-āt

Definition: A compound in which an acyl group is combined with AMP by elimination of H2O from the carobxyl group and of the phosphate residue of AMP, usually in the initial form of ATP; inorganic pyrophosphate is eliminated in condensation.
