Acinetobacter calcoaceticus

 

Definition: a species of bacteria originally found in a quinate enrichment; strains of this organism previously identified as Bacterium anitratum were found in the genitourinary tract; it is the type species of the genus Acinetobacter.

Synonym(s): Lingelsheimia anitrata
