The Federation of Medical Women of Canada's Annual Conference is a once a year opportunity for women physicians and associates to benefit from a weekend of stimulating educational discussions and networking. This year's theme is Women's Health & Well-Being: Connected, Compassionate, Courageous… providing each delegate with the latest information on women's health and well-being so they can go forward and make positive change. 2017 promises to be a year of celebration, as the FMWC celebrates its 93rd year of commitment to being the voice of women doctors in Canada and as Canada celebrates its 150th birthday.
We hope that you will be a part of our celebration. As physicians, we are leaders and partners in the journey of health care. We work in our patients' best interests to make things happen and advocate for change. Women innately bring many of the traits needed for leadership today, and this conference is designed to nurture leadership skills and talent to allow women physicians to optimize their potential and lead initiatives aimed at improving patient care. This annual event is where our organization offers medical students, residents and physician members at all stages in their careers the opportunity to enhance their clinical expertise, develop their leadership skills, network and celebrate the accomplishments of women physicians.
