Neurodiagnosis module: "Imaging-Based Neurodiagnosis" is designed for the practicing radiologist, neurosurgeon, neurologist, or related specialist seeking a thorough review of advanced neuroimaging principles, anatomy, and case material. Discussions of imaging strategies and new modalities will be correlated with a broad range of specific clinical images, focusing on the development of appropriate differential diagnoses and the distinctions that will aid in the resolution of clinical diagnostic dilemmas.
During the popular case review sessions, Malcolm Shupeck, M.D., F.A.C.S., Associate Medical Director, will present selected cases with Stephen J. Pomeranz, M.D. Each case will be discussed with particular teaching points that supplement the course lectures.Ortho module: This advanced course provides practical approaches and state-of-the-art updates to interpreting wrist, hand, finger, ankle, foot, toe, elbow, shoulder, hip, and knee joint MRI exams. The program includes anatomy and mechanisms of injury, and such representative topics as osteomyelitis in the diabetic foot, neoplasms, detailed shoulder and hip labral interpretation, and hip femoroacetabular impingement. Talks are supplemented by live case reading sessions.
