Journey alongside the brave Irish emigrants who changed the way we see nature, and made amazing scientific discoveries!As part of Science Week 2017, we will be running a special workshop with children's educator Catherine McGuinness, focusing on amazing discoveries and inventions made by Irish emigrants. Did you know an Irish scientist invented hot chocolate? Or that another blew up a well-known Dublin beach? Come discover the stories of six Irish scientists and explorers that found fame abroad and engage with science in a hands on way as we re-imagine some of their most famous experiments!
