Kootenay Boundary Division of Family Practice, UBC Family Medicine Residency, and CBT Canada are pleased to present a two-day medical CBT training program at the Prestige Lakeside Resort in Nelson from June 15-16, 2018. Workshop hours are 9:00AM to 4:30PM each day, catered lunches are included. The CME is the acclaimed "triple strength" CBT Tools module (you'll earn 36.0 Mainpro+ credits from just 12.0 workshop hours*).
Join us and you'll learn a multitude of ultra-brief CBT techniques to make your work much easier with both medical and psychiatric patients. Head instructor Greg Dubord, MD is an Assistant Professor of Psychiatry at the University of Toronto, and the prime developer of medical CBT. He has presented over 400 workshops, including 50 for the College of Family Physicians of Canada, and is a University of Toronto CME Teacher of the Year. *American Academy of Family Physicians (AAFP) members are eligible to receive up to 36.0 Prescribed credit hours for attendance at CBT Canada's 12.0 hour (/36.0 Mainpro+ credit) workshops due to a reciprocal agreement with the College of Family Physicians (AAFP, 2016).
