CBT Whistler will be held at the freshly-renovated Delta Whistler Village Suites from Monday, March 20 to Wednesday, March 22, 2017. Workshop hours are 7:00AM - 9:00AM and 4:00PM - 6:00PM, leaving you seven (7) daylight hours per day to tire yourself out exploring Whistler & Blackcomb's vast terrain.The workshop is the acclaimed CBT for Depression module, accredited for 12.0 Mainpro-Cs* by the College of Family Physicians of Canada.
Please join us and you'll gain a plethora of ultra-brief techniques to help your patients defeat depression and be happy. General interest topics covered include procrastination, perfectionism, rumination, self-criticism, self-handicapping, letting go of the past, decision-making, and evidence-based marital enrichment.The head instructor is Greg Dubord, MD, amply broken-in after giving over 300 CBT workshops, and a University of Toronto CME Teacher of the Year. *The AAFP and the CFPC have a bilateral reciprocal accreditation agreement for continuing professional development activities.
Members of the AAFP who attend CME activities that have been accredited by the CFPC for Mainpro-C credits can claim AAFP Prescribed credit. When reporting to the AAFP, Mainpro-C credits earned must be reported as Mainpro-C credits, not as AAFP Prescribed credit.
