Jussie Smollett Produced Award-Winning Film, 90 DAYS, Commemorates World AIDS Day with Live Event in Harlem.Tackling Stigma and Addressing the Current State of HIV/AIDS in the Black Community.On Friday, December 1, 2017, World AIDS Day, the HIV STOPS WITH ME Campaign presents the African Academy Award and multiple award-winning film, 90 DAYS from writer/co-director, Nathan Hale Williams, co-director, Jennia Fredrique Aponte, and executive producer, Jussie Smollett (Empire).

The film, which tells the story of a young couple forced to confront the modern day challenges of loving with HIV, will screen and live stream a town hall meeting at First Corinthian Baptist Church in Harlem, 1912 Adam Clayton Powell Jr Blvd, New York, NY 10026, doors open from 6:00 pm to 9:00 pm. The event will commemorate this year's global World AIDS Day theme, "Increasing Impact through Transparency, Accountability, and Partnerships."The town hall meeting and panel discussion will be moderated by PageSix TV and Sirius/XM host, Bevy Smith, and will tackle the impact of stigma on the rising infection rates in communities of color and how entertainment can have positive effects on the current state of HIV/AIDS.
