Zilretta (triamcinolone) for Osteoarthritis "My doctor gave me Zilretta almost 7-8 months ago. I have osteoarthritis, my left knee is almost bone-on-bone. My doctor and Zilretta saved me from hell on earth. I thought that this medication must be a quick fix, no side effects, no icing the knee every 4 hours a day. But Zilretta is a force to be reckoned with, once injected in the knee, it goes where it's supposed to be. That's the power of Zilretta. God bless the mind and hands that created this miracle drug for people like me. I just got my second injection as I told you 7 or 8 months ago, and I am feeling relief. Since 11 am, it is now 6:15 pm, and I could walk at least 3 blocks. Zilretta is fast and to the point, no fuss, no muss, and I am a great-grandma, my great-granddaughter is in her first year of high school. She called me about an hour ago, asking how does your knee and you feel? Like a champ, she stated Zilretta again."

Kenalog-40 (triamcinolone) for Rheumatoid Arthritis "I had a shoulder injection for chronic pain the next day I went into horrible AFib which lasted 10 days, 2 days after the injection I developed severe headaches with pain behind my left eye then I got so fatigued and could not do anything. I'm still feeling bad 11 days after the injection. My Dr. said these are all side effects of Kenalog I would have refused the injection if I had known of these side effects. I have had other injections for lower back etc and never had this reaction."

Kenalog-40 (triamcinolone) for Allergic Reactions "I have used it for almost 8 years. I take one almost every month for treating a chronic skin disease, but it is unfortunate that recently I have been experiencing frequent urination at night, loss of weight. Yet the skin rash keeps on coming on a monthly interval after administration. I have observed unstable blood sugar. I can say that it works effectively for just a month interval."

Zilretta (triamcinolone) for Osteoarthritis "I fell at work more than 2 years ago, broke my patella, after 3 surgeries and the last one seemed to have worked well, my pain level was down to a 2-3. My doctor suggested getting this injection to get me lasting pain relief going forward, I wish now I hadn't. My pain level increased to at least to a 5 within in a week, sometimes it hurts as much as a 6-7. I have pain where I didn't have pain before, Calling my doctor this week. My surgery was at the end of April, the injection was done at 4 weeks. I am now 3 weeks past injection date and it is only worsened my knee pain. I am so over this knee pain."

Zilretta (triamcinolone) for Osteoarthritis "The first 9 days was great, no pain but after that it has been getting worse to the point of being totally miserable. It has been over a week with bad pain in my inner knee area. No OTC meds, icing, or heating helps it."

Kenalog-10 (triamcinolone) for Osteoarthritis "Had injection to right thumb on 3/1/17 for stiffness. As an adverse reaction, I've already lost 75% of my hair! If it ever stops falling, it will take years to restore! This medication is poison and should be taken off the market. i Contacted Bristol- Meyers Squibb and they have no comment to offer regarding my complaint. I am looking for an attorney!"

For Psoriasis "It was amazing. I've had a large, full body, break out of psoriasis for about month now. This was due to the fact that 4 previous physicians could not figure out what it was. I went to a dermatologist, he gave me triamcinolone and it made my skin look so much better in a matter of days."

Zilretta (triamcinolone) for Osteoarthritis "I have bone on bone and bone spurs and it did not work for me yet it’s been 10 days and it’s really swollen and now there’s crunching. It was very painful afterwards and it didn’t hurt at all getting it but now awful pain and a horrendous runny nose. I am definitely regretting getting it."

Zilretta (triamcinolone) for Osteoarthritis "My right knee is almost bone on bone. My left knee isn't as bad but still hurts. I have tried cortisone and gel injections. Neither worked for me. My doctor suggested I try Zilretta. I had an injection in both knees 5 days ago. I am having really bad headaches, and my kneecaps are very painful. I am also experiencing fatigue. It's hard to believe all this would be from the Zilretta, but I can't attribute my symptoms to anything else. I don't think I will be getting any more of these injections. My doctor says I'm too young for knee replacements, but I'm in so much pain."

Kenalog-10 (triamcinolone) for Dermatological Disorders "Epidermal cyst: I thought it was a pimple near the side of chin. I attempted bursting it but it only got bigger. The problem had been there a while, I tried ignoring it! My dermatologist said it was a cyst (epidermal). She gave me the steroid injection and told me that in 2-3days I should have results but allow 6 weeks for full results) I just received the shot this morning and I already see positive results."

Kenalog-40 (triamcinolone) for Asthma "I had hay fever with extreme itchy eyes while in New Zealand. The doctor gave me a 40mg shot of Kenacort. Within a couple of days, my symptoms cleared, and for 2 years, I was allergy free of any hay fever or asthma.(that included both in US and NZ through their spring seasons). I repeated another injection which lasted close to 2 years. I will be asking my doctor in the US to give me an injection this coming spring. It sure beats nose sprays, inhalers, eye drops, and getting a bloody nose from steroid nose sprays. I had no side effects from the injection either time, accept feeling quite good the first 24 hours. And even better when all my symptoms went away."

Kenalog-40 (triamcinolone) "35F, Started 2019 (4 years). I have a torn hip labrum. First injections were 7/2019, lasted 5 months, then 1/2020, lasted over a year, then July 2021 lasted long enough for my hip to rehabilitate & not need another. Each shot disrupted my menstrual cycle. I would get my period 4-7 days after receiving the injection regardless of how recently I had just had it or if I currently had it. I also gained 10-15 lbs with each injection. May 2022, I didn't need it for my hip anymore, but now needed it for my back. I figured I would try it since it helped my hip so much. I have a herniated L5-S1, I received bilateral epidural injections. It didn't help AT ALL. I ended up in the ER a week later because I couldn't sit up/stand/walk straight. It never kicked in or worked. 2023 tried again in SI joint, lasted 2 weeks. Bled for 2 months. Won't try again. Gained weight of 50 lbs overall in 3 years from this. It worked for my hip but not for my spine."

Zilretta (triamcinolone) for Osteoarthritis "Pain relief was substantial following an injection in each knee in July 2022 and last approximately 4 weeks. Unfortunately, I had very noticeable mood side effects - which has occurred previously when taking steroids. Pain returned and 2 months post injections my knee pain is significantly worse than before, as well as more clicking/popping in knees. I can barely ascend/descend stairs much of the time. Did not work and was a huge mistake for me."

Kenalog-40 (triamcinolone) for Sarcoidosis "For the last three years I have had lower back pain that went down into both right and left buttocks and into my right hip. I was finally referred to radiology dept. and they gave me an injection into both SI joints. After three days the constant pain and spasms went away that were in my lower back and that went down into buttocks and into hip. It was absolutely wonderful to be able to sleep, walk without limping and hurting and my attitude and energy level became more positive. To be rid of the constant chronic pain that never went away, day and night, was a blessing! The injection has lasted 1 1/2 months and now I am starting to hurt again. I would recommend an injection for pain."

Zilretta (triamcinolone) for Osteoarthritis "Received drug Zilretta about 15 days ago. It was FABULOUS these last 12 days! Climbed steps, played with 8 yr old grandson in yard, just generally moved beautifully! Gradually, the pain has returned. Don’t know why, don’t know if I did something wrong, but those first 12-14 days were awesome ! Glad it helps others"

Kenalog-40 (triamcinolone) for Lupus "I have used Kenalog for my lupus. It has helped tremendously without all the side effects. My flares are less frequent and pain is minimal. I can function again. My only problem was I was getting them in my arms and it caused a loss of muscle. I switched injection sites between my butt and arms, so I'm not getting them in the same location all the time."

Zilretta (triamcinolone) for Osteoarthritis "I suddenly developed horrible knee pain in my left knee (Arthritis and meniscus pain). It became so bad that I was told surgery was probably the answer. I couldn't take the time due to my husband going in for major heart surgery. The doctor gave me this injection and said it should last 6 months to maybe a year. It has been over THREE YEARS and my left knee is still pain free!! I have another doctor and they have been trying to treat my right knee for over a year. The shots they have been trying are not working. I THOUGHT they were the same shot as this one but I found out it isn't. Hopefully, now I can get the same relief as I got with my left knee. I haven't slept a full night for nearly 9 months due to pain in the night. I don't understand why this new doctor didn't try it. Miss my old doctor!!"

Zilretta (triamcinolone) for Osteoarthritis "Issue is osteoarthritis of the knee and a partially torn meniscus. Had GenVisc850 injections (5 over 5-weeks as required), but still had knee pain so doctor prescribed a Zilretta injection. Within 1 day, my knee pain became a lot worse, then for about 2-weeks the pain subsided some so I thought the Zilretta was finally working. The relief was short term and the pain increased to the point where it was difficult to put any weight on my leg. Now, 6-weeks after the Zilretta injection, I am scheduled for surgery."

For Lichen Sclerosus "Per my doctor's prescription, I have used triamcinolone acetonide cream USP 0.025%, sparingly, as needed, to treat my vulvar lichen sclerosus successfully for 17 years. Over time I learned that I can only use the Fougera brand of this product, as multiple other similarly identified products seem to cause an allergic reaction, creating the appearance that the cream is not relieving the itching and pain symptoms. (It's a good thing that the Fougera brand was the original one provided to me by the pharmacy!)"

Kenalog-40 (triamcinolone) for Lupus "Wonderful. Lupus flare. My joints, muscles, ligaments, tendons were hurting tired, achy, and so on. Doctor gave me a Kenalog shot in my hip. Within 24 hours, a bit better. Within 4 days, so much better. Reduced inflammatory issues and pain. Even my sciatica pain was greatly reduced. Much better and easier than increasing my maintenance Prednisone by mouth and then having to take weeks to cut down 1/2 mg a week... takes forever. Great idea to use the Kenalog shot to break the flare.!!!"
