Tioconazole topical for Vaginal Yeast Infection "I have never had a YI, but had sure signs. I bought the test to make sure, but later read you can’t use it while on your period (which started the day after the YI symptoms). I contacted a doctor (unable to get an appointment because of the weekend), and they said to go ahead and use it. Like many of you, I didn’t read the reviews until after that first jolt of tingling vagina burn hit. As I read reviews, it slowly felt like all the fires from Mt. Doom were raging in my lady parts. I was fortunate enough to take it around 8 pm, so I took a Benadryl. I slept mostly through the night, woke up around 3 with the pain still there. When I woke up for good on Saturday morning, there was a slight tingle still, but almost all of the other symptoms were gone. Still had a little medical ooze, but the maximum strength did its job. Yes, it burns like hell, but if you can handle a few hours of pain, you’ll be relieved in the morning."

Tioconazole topical for Vaginal Yeast Infection "Well, I’m making this a tad early. I inserted the application about two hours ago. Felt kind of nauseous in the first hour, but I also haven’t eaten yet today, so I blew it off. Let’s see, about a half hour later I was walking to my bed and felt... squishy. And a weird tinge around the vaginal opening. It got a bit stronger, and I didn’t like that too much, so I went back into the bathroom to clean up. The capsule had melted, and the cream was dispersed. Obviously, the husk of the capsule is going to try to come out. I think that was the cause of the tingly pain I felt. I wiped it up as best I could and used the cooling pad. I feel fine. A little warm, but to be expected, it’s medicine, after all. Would try again."

Tioconazole topical for Vaginal Yeast Infection "After suffering from a minor YI for a couple of days, I decided to use this product for the very first time. Last night around 11 pm, I inserted the egg and then I went to sleep not too long after. I was then awakened by an uncomfortable 'tingling' down there. (Although the feeling was quite uncomfortable, I wouldn't consider it burning or painful.) I then decided to research the side effects of this drug (which I should have done before I even decided to purchase it) - which led me to this website. I was horrified by stories of feeling on fire and swollen, bleeding vaginas. I seriously thought I was going to have a story like that. Thankfully, the tingle only lasted maybe 30-45 minutes, and almost 24 hours later, I feel great - although in the future, I do think I will be going the Rx route. I'm so sorry to read some of these awful experiences, and I truly hope you ladies found relief."

Tioconazole topical for Vaginal Yeast Infection "My first time taking this product, I did it around 12 am. About 30 minutes after I’ve done it, I felt really warm down there. Around 1:30 am, I couldn’t sleep because my vagina was on fire, but after 2:30 am, I was able to sleep. Now it’s 11 am, and the burning is actually gone. I mean, it’s a little tingly down there, but the pain is gone. The pain didn’t last too long, but I don’t think I’ll be doing it again if I get a YI ever. That egg is pure lava, and I won’t be putting it in my vagina ever again. But if you have a severe YI, then this might be for you, but you’re gonna have to feel the pain we’ve all felt for a few hours. I say take it at night, it might be uncomfortable for you to sleep, but at least you won’t have to work through the pain or be in pain all day. I took it at night because I’m not gonna be walking around with an egg in my coochie like a chicken that’s about to give birth to this lava egg-no thanks!"

Tioconazole topical for Vaginal Yeast Infection "I saw all the comments other women made, and I was afraid to try it. I'm glad I did. What works for one woman may not work for the next. I did feel a little tingling, but that was it. I don't know if the cream is better than the egg or not, but I used the cream. I didn't experience the extreme burning and itching, thankfully. I do feel bad for the ones that did. I say give it a shot, it may work."

Tioconazole topical for Vaginal Yeast Infection "This is my first time using this product, and about an hour after inserting the egg, I started to notice a lot of itching and a slight tingling feeling. So I googled reviews of the product, and here I am. I went through a lot of these reviews, reading everyone’s comments, and I honestly don’t experience extreme burning or discomfort other than the itching, but I used the cream that’s supposed to help with itching and burning, and I feel a lot better. I would honestly rather go through this now at nighttime than to walk around during the day with a yeast infection! So I would recommend this, but if you’re very sensitive down there or can’t handle discomfort, I would just go straight to doctors."

Tioconazole topical for Vaginal Yeast Infection "I tried Monistat 1 thinking it would work, so I applied the “egg” in my vagina. About an hour or two later, I felt a tingle and had to use the restroom. Boy, oh boy! My poor vagina took a trip to a bad place and didn’t come back! I tried to lay down, that didn’t work. Man, was I in tears, I mean TEARS. I tried sitting in a cold bath of water, but it just burned right through the water. I finally tried an ice pack and just laid down so I could cool off a little, not because of the burning, and I noticed my vag got swollen as well! Popped a quick ibuprofen and went to sleep. Please do not use Monistat! If your vag itches and burns, just try to get through it after seeing a doc. This is something I don’t ever want to experience again."

Tioconazole topical for Vaginal Yeast Infection "The product had helped me. Everyone saying it burns has not read the instructions because it explains that in the information. It was relatively easy to use, there was no “egg”, just the tube with the medication. I would recommend this product. I didn't feel any burning. I did experience a slight tingling feeling an hour or so after, but it went away fast."

Tioconazole topical for Vaginal Yeast Infection "I genuinely believe that the women describing this experience as painful beyond comprehension are either experiencing an allergic reaction to the medication or using it improperly. This is my first time using Monistat 3 cream. I decided to use it during the day despite instructions to use it at bedtime. I inserted the product around 1 p.m. and went about my day, vacuuming, putting up the Christmas tree, making lunch, paying bills, etc. I checked my pantyliner regularly to ensure I wasn't losing product. Everything felt normal. Several hours in I felt a very subtle warm, tingling sensation. It never amounted to anything. After making dinner around 7 p.m., I used the bathroom and some product was on the liner, the rest went into the toilet. No pain."

Tioconazole topical for Vaginal Yeast Infection "The burning that everyone is talking about is the medicine working and killing the yeast. I was lucky I had a slight tingling sensation - that's it. The medicine worked wonders."

For Vaginal Yeast Infection "Tioconazole worked right away for my YI, seems like I had no swelling, maybe a little tingling, no itching, no burning. Used it after I showered in the morning and think it's working. I feel better."
