Tioconazole topical for Vaginal Yeast Infection "I inserted the medicine at around 10, and it didn't feel any different until about 12. Then it all went downhill. I had a burning sensation and a horrific itch. The worst pain I have ever felt in my entire life. I cannot even put into words how excruciating the pain was. All I could do was cry and try to ice to cool it down. It lasted for about 2 hours and then started to cool down a bit, and I decided to take sleeping pills so I could sleep through the rest. I woke up pain-free. I'm still having discharge and an occasional burn/itch, but nothing severe. It made the infection go away, but the pain I went through was not worth it. Save yourself the pain and don't take Monistat 1, but use the less concentrated ones like the Day 7!!!"

Tioconazole topical "I just got the generic brand of the Monistat 1, it was like $20. This is a very strong medication, although it said one day, the instruction pamphlet said that complete relief will come in 7 days for most women. I applied the topical cream 3 times a day. The cream did burn a little after immediate application but settled down. Day 1 incredibly itchy, ice pack on lady bits, intense burn about 20 minutes after putting the oval capsule in, there was quite a bit of discharge from it. Day 2 a little bit better, not much. Day 3 itching is way less, small discharge. Day 4 and 5 not much change. Day 6 almost nothing, just super dry. Day 7 completely done, no itch, no burn, still a little dry down there but overall a success. Hang in there!"

Tioconazole topical for Vaginal Yeast Infection "DO NOT USE. Unless you want to feel like someone shoved a red-hot pipe up there. Don’t. It’s awful. Currently laying in bed at 2 a.m. with an ice pack between my legs, the swelling is awful, the burning is worse, and the discharge is bad."

For Vaginal Yeast Infection "After buying this poison, I didn't read the reviews. Matter of fact, I asked the pharmacist what's the difference between the Monistat and this brand, she said it's the same. Why did I even listen to her? I bought the 1 day and gave it a try. About 2 hours later, I thought my thong was too tight??? No, that was my vagina on fire, swollen like a watermelon...what?? I woke up this morning and the swollen went down a bit. I still have some discharge, isn't this treatment for one day? Who made this poison? They must hate women."

Tioconazole topical for Vaginal Yeast Infection "Ok, so I definitely bought this before reading the reviews, but my experience wasn't nearly as bad as others. I put in the egg around 12 am and had to wake up and drive with some people for 16 hours. Yeah, very uncomfortable being in the car, and I started reading reviews and started really getting scared, but at the same time, it wasn't as everyone else was saying. It did itch and got a burning sensation, but I forced myself to just ignore it with some heavy music. I did have a lot of discharge. And that worried me because it did seem like it got worse. But when I actually went back to sleep and woke up this morning (about 36 hours), there wasn't any discharge, just itching. So I put on the cream, and now about 40 hours later, I feel normal again."

Tioconazole topical for Vaginal Yeast Infection "I am currently on antibiotics for a respiratory infection and I felt the YI coming. I purchased Monistat 1 pre-filled ointment and used it early on so I didn't have any discomfort, raw skin, or itching before use. I used the application after my shower and before bed. I woke up with an insanely inflamed vag, I could barely walk. Reading these reviews, a lot of people aren't saying that once the medicine is taken, the yeast will begin to spew out of the vag, which explains why I woke up and my undies were nearly soaked (yuck, I know), causing the irritation, raw itchy and inflamed skin. Besides all that, I noticed the swelling, burning, and discharge subsided all that day. This medicine actually works really well, you just have to keep clean and dry to rid symptoms."

Tioconazole topical for Vaginal Yeast Infection "I used this product once before and was fine. Took care of the infection with almost no burning at all. A few months later, I got another yeast infection, so naturally, I bought what worked before. Just help me. What ensued was a trip I wish I had never embarked on. I inserted the pill a few hours before bedtime and felt no pain or burning. Upon sitting down to pee after an hour of having the ovule in, I noticed a ton of discharge had appeared from the “less mess ovule.” I cleaned myself up and continued on getting ready for bed. I sat down and THE BURNING AND ITCHING BEGAN. I couldn’t sit still. IT HAS NOT STOPPED FOR THE LAST HOUR. I have tried washing it off and attempting to scoop some out. I read the reviews and ignored. HEED THE PROPHECY !!!"

Tioconazole topical for Vaginal Yeast Infection "I bought Monistat 1 when my yeast infection started getting pretty bad, around day 3. I was swollen, and I couldn't even sit comfortably because of the pain I was in. After I had already inserted the medicine, a lot on here said how horrible the product was and how painful it was. Well, I realized all I was having was mild burning, nothing too extreme, and I went about my day. By night, I was pretty sore down there, but I had no itch anymore, so I felt good enough to go to bed. Now this morning, I feel back to normal, thank goodness. Still having discharge from the medicine coming out, but other than that, I feel good, and I would definitely use this product again in the future."

Tioconazole topical for Vaginal Yeast Infection "I have been with symptoms of a YI for 3 days now, so today I decided to go get something to relieve my pain since my doctor is not available. I found this medicine, and I tried it around 1:00 pm. It is a little uncomfortable to insert, but minimal, and being my first time trying it, I didn't know what to expect. Around 5, it started to burn. Everyone's pain resistance is different, it is uncomfortable, and it does burn. You do release discharge, but keep dry and clean. I think I rather take this pain than what I was feeling before. It feels like you're being pumped down there and swollen, but not to the point of not being able to take the pain. I keep in mind tomorrow it will be all worth it. So far, great medicine, itching is gone already, and it's 11:30 pm."

Tioconazole topical for Vaginal Yeast Infection "Okay, so I had a really bad yeast infection. My period brought it on. I was drinking a ton of beer on vacation and decided I would treat my infection when I got home. My yeast infection got so bad. I used Monistat Maximum Strength before bed on Sunday. I had extreme itching and burning. The intense itching continued for three days, Thursday. I finally had enough and called my doctor, scheduled an appointment for Monday, and bought, Thursday morning, Monistat pre-filled applicator. It dripped out of me all day long. I had pink discharge, which turned into a yellow color. However, by Thursday night, I had no more itching or burning, just swelling. Today, Friday, I have no symptoms."

Tioconazole topical for Vaginal Yeast Infection "I am 27 years old, never had a yeast infection before. I had mild itching and some discharge, and it was worse at the front. I got a cream, and all was well... then looking at the cream, I noticed it's not an antifungal, so I went back and got the egg insert 1-day treatment, and right before bed last night, I put it in, then went to sleep. I am legit a pretty tough cookie. The insert turned all my symptoms up 2 notches: itch, discharge, and now I have a warmth or mild burn to my entrance. I didn't actually itch myself until after the insert. I couldn't take it. Well, it's the next morning, still got a warmth to my entrance, but nothing like described above."

Tioconazole topical for Vaginal Yeast Infection "Was on antibiotic for respiratory infection last week. Doc warned it may cause yeast infection. Ate yogurt, took probiotic, and a homeopathic yeast infection medication to help. Got a yeast infection a few days later. I've used 3-day and 7-day before, but thought I'd give the 1-day a try. Woke up yesterday, and I felt a warm, burning sensation. Went pee, and it stung a little. Wiped a little blood and discharge. Things stayed the same during the day. Woke up this morning with the same warm burn. Went pee, and it STUNG! When I wiped, it had a decent amount of blood, and it hurt like nothing I've ever felt down there before! Looked in a mirror, and it looked swollen, and there were burns and/or cuts that had some blood. I'm afraid to pee now! Nurse said 1-day has burned some women. Awful! Don't use!"

Tioconazole topical for Vaginal Yeast Infection "Had the very beginnings of a yeast infection on Thursday. Did the 1-day. Today is Saturday, and I have to go buy the 3-day because my itching has become worse. Super itchy, and the discharge is ridiculous. What a waste of $20... my suggestion: just go with the 3-day."

Tioconazole topical for Vaginal Yeast Infection "I used this product for the first time (CVS Health brand) and of course the warm sensation (kind of uncomfortable) in the beginning was to be expected. I read the comments of women who had TERRIBLE side effects such as their vaginas being swollen SHUT, and I hope they promptly made an ob-gyn appointment (even though everybody is different, just to be safe). I would definitely use this again! Mild symptoms, including itching and oozing out, but I feel 10x better! For $20, this worked very well."

Tioconazole topical for Vaginal Yeast Infection "DO NOT USE FOR MILD YI! I had a mild YI, and my ob-gyn didn’t think that I needed Diflucan at the time. Two days later, during the weekend, I was still experiencing some mild discomfort and didn’t want to wait until Monday for my ob to call in Diflucan, so I decided to take care of it myself in fear that it might get worse. It got worse, alright! Swelling, soreness, discharge that wasn’t there, and a blowtorch to my vagina. I can’t walk without looking like there is a stick up my butt, it’s that bad. I know some are saying that this is a sign that it’s working or this happens with bad YI, but I beg to differ. Use with extreme caution and clear your calendar for the next day! Good luck!"

Tioconazole topical for Vaginal Yeast Infection "Pre-treatment, my only symptom was severe burning during intercourse. I went to my doctor and found out I have a yeast infection. I used this product at about 3 pm, laid down for an hour, and went about my day, unknowingly that I should have used it at bedtime. I didn't have any side effects at all, but it also didn't cure the infection. One week later, I bought another box, used it again correctly and at bedtime. I had slight tingling before I fell asleep. I woke up 7 hours later and had no side effects besides discharge. It has been 4 days since, and still nothing but some light spotting, cramping, and discharge. I'm not yet sure it cured the infection because of no intercourse, which is why I gave it a 9 instead of a 10. My infection may not be as severe as other reviewers, but I'm not sure. I have used egg ovules in the past, and I do remember how bad they burned, so I do at least have a reference."

Tioconazole topical for Vaginal Yeast Infection "DO NOT TAKE THIS DRUG. I had a mild yeast infection: some discharge, itching, swelling, and I wanted to treat it quickly, so I picked Monistat one day without doing any research prior. I put the dinosaur egg in me before bed and slept through the night, but when I woke up for class, I started to experience the worst pain I have ever felt. The burning was so much worse than the actual infection, and it's been 6 hours since it started burning, and it's still continuing. There is also blood coming out of me. I've been told that the 7- or 3-day Monistat is a similar experience, but not as bad. This drug is also not even guaranteed to work, so I experienced this excruciating pain for nothing and have to go on the prescribed pill."
