For Vaginal Yeast Infection "Okay, so I've avoided this medication for so long because of these reviews. IDK if you other ladies are allergic to something in the medication or what, but my experience was fine! I get recurrent yeast infections, so I've tried everything under the sun except for Monistat. I've tried terconazole, clotrimazole, boric acid, gentian violet, etc. Once I inserted it, I was super itchy for like the first half hour to an hour, then everything calmed down and felt so soothing. I woke up just now and feel great! No itching, didn't experience any burning. IDK what all the negativity is about. I'll check back in a few days to see if my infection is cured! Have no fear, ladies :)"

For Vaginal Yeast Infection "Tioconazole worked wonders for me! I took it 2 days after I noticed my YI coming on... (I’ve had them in the past, so I knew what it was right away), and I did NOT experience any of the crazy burning or itching like the other reviews say. But I did have a slight itch after I took it, but nothing unbearable. It took 4 days for my symptoms to be completely gone. I will use this again if I ever need it!"

For Vaginal Yeast Infection "I used this Tioconazole for the 1st time tonight after the 1st day of a yeast infection, and I have no adverse reactions yet. A little warm, but feeling a lot less itching and burning than before application. I would use again."

For Vaginal Yeast Infection "This has been one of the worse decisions I’ve made. I had mild symptoms to start. I thought I’d try it to completely be clear of it since it’s only one day. I regret it so badly. I decided to look at reviews, yes after, because it’s so uncomfortable and itchy (but I don’t scratch, which makes it harder) and thought this isn’t normal because I’ve used others and they have worked. This caught me by surprise. I applied it around 11 pm last night, and it’s 11:00 am right now, and I still feel discomfort, but thankfully it isn’t as bad, mostly it’s just throbbing. Don’t buy it, ladies, it’s not worth it at all."

For Vaginal Yeast Infection "DO NOT TAKE A CHANCE WITH THIS PRODUCT!! I got a yeast infection after a round of antibiotics. I had only mild symptoms for about 4 days before I decided to treat. The only reason I treated was that I am about to be super busy at work and wanted to feel my best. I chose the 1-day treatment because why treat for 7 days what you can treat in 1? Big mistake. I inserted the ovule, no problem. As soon as I put in the 'itch relief' cream, the itching and irritation increased 1000%! I feel so much worse than I did before this treatment. It's ironic that the treatment I used so I could be my best at work will probably make me actually miss a day at work. The discomfort is almost unbearable."

For Vaginal Yeast Infection "I'm turning 16 at the end of this month, and I had another yeast infection. I used Vagisil before, suggested by my doctor. This time, my mother went and picked up Monistat 1. In comparison, there was no burning or irritation once I applied the medicine. I would suggest wearing a pad and loose pants that you don't mind getting ruined, as suggested. However, I felt very uncomfortable about 4 hours after. It was a mixture of burning and itching, so I kept walking around my house and trying to get myself to ignore it. I eventually laid down and went to sleep. When I woke up, I felt completely better. There is still some irritation, but it isn't as bad as it was a few days ago. I would highly recommend it if you don't mind the slight side effects."

For Vaginal Yeast Infection "I read the reviews after I took this. Usually, I do it before, but my vagina was on a crazy itchy spree. So I took whatever my husband brought home because I couldn't even walk without itching, lol. Anyways, these reviews scared the hell out of me. I put the egg in around 2 pm, I waited a few hours to feel the crazy burning, but it never happened. Instead, I felt a nice hot/cool feeling like the way mint feels in your mouth. I had a good experience. It's the next day, so far, it's taken the problem away. I do recommend a panty liner on your underwear. Unless you do what I did, wear old underwear and throw them out. Everyone is different! So here is the not-so-scary review."

For Vaginal Yeast Infection "I used the Monistat 7, and it worked perfectly for me in the past, but I'm going on vacation soon, so I chose the one dose. So I guess it needed to get worse before it could get better. I had the same symptoms: itchy redness for 2 days, but I also read it could take a few days to work. So I kept applying the small tube of cream when it felt horrible, and I didn't want to start overdosing with more medicine of Monistat 7. So I waited it out. Day 3, I felt so much better and happier. This product gets bad reviews, but no matter what, yeast infections suck and take a while to get over, no matter what. So it may hurt now, but just wait it out and read the instructions."

For Vaginal Yeast Infection "If you can endure a major constant itch for a few hours, then you’ll be fine. Tioconazole works and will have your symptoms almost gone by the very next day. Yes, once you put it in, it will give you an intense itch. If the product melts and comes down your vagina, yes, it will then burn. I kept my legs propped up right after application so it didn’t burn me. Too bad, but the itching came 10 minutes after application. The itching was so bad that I showered, and it cured the itching. Even with me showering, I still had more product up there. Some did come out in the shower, but not a lot. Just know it works and this product is way better than having to wait to see a doctor and get a script."

For Vaginal Yeast Infection "To be clear, my review is for the ovule, not the applicator. The ovule should be banished back to the hell from which it came. The ovule contains 1,200 mg of the antifungal; compared to 300 mg for the 1-day applicator, 200 mg for the 3-day, and 100 mg for the 7-day. Whoever had the bright idea to up the acceptable dosage 4-12 times deserves to be shot. If you take this product, your vagina will burn with the fire of a thousand suns and leave you trying to cool everything down with ice cubes and either running to the gyno or crying in your bathroom while trying to scrape out this horrible, horrible product from your now swollen, raw vagina. You will not, as advertised, be working, because it's hard to work when your vag is molten. DO NOT BUY!!"

For Vaginal Yeast Infection "Girl, stop, if you're thinking about buying this, just stop and read these reviews. The burning and itching are far worse than your yeast infection could ever be. My only escape is reading these reviews to know I'm not suffering alone. I had to make a doctor's appointment to make sure I didn't ruin my entire vagina. I have to assume it's only time before a lawsuit or it's taken off the shelves because of the mass suffering to all these poor, innocent vaginas out there."

For Vaginal Yeast Infection "My mom had recommended this cream for me. I did not know what to expect once I purchased it. I did not look up reviews or anything, so I was fully unaware of the side effects. Once I inserted it, about 10 minutes passed, and I started to feel discomfort. It then turned from discomfort to the most extreme burning I've ever felt in my life. My vagina was burning for a good 4 hours. I can admit, the following day, my yeast infection went away. But the process before that was literally helllllll! I was literally crying all night because I didn't think the burning would go away. I would rather deal with the yeast infection than deal with that burning pain I felt. Although it helps, I don't think it's worth all that pain."

For Vaginal Yeast Infection "I inserted it at 9:50 p.m. It's now 10:12 p.m., and I wanna stab someone in the throat. It started itching and burning immediately. I'm about to jump out of my car window while on the freeway if this doesn't end. My vaginal area feels like I have fleas. I swear to God I will never, and I repeat, never use this product again."

For Vaginal Yeast Infection "I wanted to share my experience because I’m kind of shocked by the other reviews for Monistat 1. I worry that they could either unnecessarily scare someone who has already used it or keep someone from using it who could benefit from it and doesn’t otherwise have easy access to healthcare (like prescriptions). Yeast infections are uncomfortable, period. And the drug used in Monistat is powerful. That being said, it worked for me. I had a minor yeast infection and used Monistat 1. I continued to work out and go about my daily activities as usual. I was definitely a little uncomfortable, but certainly not even close to the point of needing to go to urgent care. After all, I recognize that this is a really strong antifungal treatment. For those who are more sensitive to pain and discomfort, I would highly recommend a 3 or 7-day treatment. Three days later, my symptoms are much better. While not 100%, I no longer have any burning or major itching."

For Vaginal Yeast Infection "I have had yeast infections quite a few times! I have always used Monistat 1. The first time I used it, I freaked out my whole family, I was screaming and crying, telling them to 'Make it stop!' And I've used it a couple of times since then, and it has been completely fine with no burning. I'm using it tonight and feel like I'm dying again! It always works and clears it up, but be prepared for the worst pain for a few hours!"

For Vaginal Yeast Infection "I had a yeast infection for about 3 days last week. I knew I needed to do something. I purchased the 1-day treatment with the day and nighttime option. I inserted the medication on my lunch at work without using the cream or wipes. I then started reading reviews which freaked me out, and I got so scared. Nothing happened for a few hours, then there was a slight burning sensation. Nothing horrible. Some of the medication came out on the pad I was wearing, and the uncomfortableness lasted the rest of the night. I woke up fine, and the yeast infection was gone. Worked for me, and will use this again."

For Vaginal Yeast Infection "I bought it 1 day after realizing I had a yeast infection. Started the treatment by 10 p.m., and it pretty much was a hot burning feeling for about 4-5 hrs until 3 a.m. Nothing I couldn't handle. It cooled down significantly, especially by 7 a.m. I just think the ingredient was very strong and was working. That's why it felt that way. I hope it knocks out the yeast as fast as it started reacting!"

For Vaginal Yeast Infection "Omg.... the pain!!!!! I was put on antibiotics for pneumonia and bronchitis and ended up with a YI... so I got the one-day treatment, got $24. At 8:30 pm, I popped it in, by 9:53 pm, I was in so much pain, it burned so bad and still is burning. It's now 11:33 pm, it burns so bad I'm in tears, bawling... and I am contemplating removing my shower head from the hose to flush it out. I am in tears and afraid to move. With the slightest shift, I feel like I am relighting the torch inside me. Do not do this treatment.... and these people who say they hardly feel a thing.... yeah, they have vaginas cloned from Superman DNA... I would rather do natural, no pain meds, childbirth again before doing this treatment again!"

For Vaginal Yeast Infection "My mom told me to try this to help my infection. I had no problem putting it in, it was just like a tampon. Everything was fine for the first hour, maybe 2 hours, but suddenly it has become so uncomfortably painful and itchy. I don't know how to make it stop!! :( I hope it ends up being worth this. (Honestly, the yeast infection wasn't this bad)"

For Vaginal Yeast Infection "OMG, my vagina is on fire!!!!! I just put the 1-Day Maximum Strength Treatment Miconazole on. I am really regretting putting it on. I can't sleep, it burns so bad. I was reading some of the reviews, and people seem to suggest that the cream is what makes it worse, but I don't know. I just went to the bathroom to wipe it off with the cooling wipes, and that stuff burns so bad. I just finished putting on A&D ointment. I really hope that helps. But as of right now, I am dying!!"

For Vaginal Yeast Infection "I love this medication. I never have a problem. It burns slightly because it's killing the fungus and yeast. Please be mindful how you clean your vagina. No soap is required to clean the inside of your vagina, just the creases and folds with a mild soap. I use Olay. Your vagina is already irritated and swollen, especially if you were having sex. Vaseline helps soothe the irritated vagina."

For Vaginal Yeast Infection "I haven't had a YI in years, but my diet is off, stress levels are up with my new job, house, etc. So I concluded I had a mild yeast infection, which I caught immediately because I am a keen listener to my body. I say that because there was some discomfort. Anyway, I took Monistat 1 extra strength. There was an increase in my discomfort with slight burning, but no itching at all. I purchased yogurt and drank water. I went to sleep. The next day, I was relieved. Honestly, it worked for me. No burning, swelling, or itching, praise Yah! If I had read the reviews, I may not have bought this product. I'm sorry about the experience of others. However, I would use this product again. I hated to spend $22, but in the end, the relief was worth it."

For Vaginal Yeast Infection "I got the Monistat 1 Day pack yesterday to treat a yeast infection I contracted while on vacation that I'd had for about a month. This is the first yeast infection I've had, I am 18. Before taking it, I came on here to read reviews to see if it would really work, and to say the least, it only made me terrified. I thought I was going to be miserably awoken to a burning, swollen vagina. But, for some reason, I took it anyway. Inserted around 1 am, then went to bed. Did not wake up at all. Woke up around 10 am feeling only the slightest bit of discomfort. The only thing I've experienced is the normal discharge of the medicine. Nothing even close to unbearable. I've been itch-free all day thus far! This product worked perfectly for me!"

For Vaginal Yeast Infection "OMG this stuff burns 100x worse than the YI! I inserted it about 15 mins ago and laid right down. I was so uncomfortable I would rather not have taken anything and just called my doc for a prescription. I DO Not Recommend! After the burning started, I wondered if this was normal, so I started looking for reviews. After reading through them, I decided I couldn't take the burning/itching anymore. I went to the toilet and pushed the gel out and wiped all the cream off. For a while, I just wanted to scratch with something sharp because it was a painful itch. Now I'm laying in bed with a cool wash cloth between my legs feeling a little bit better. Man, that was torture!"
