"I've been using 0.1% cream for about a month and a half for moderate but stubborn hormonal acne that I've had for over a decade. I've noticed flaking and peeling, but there's been no irritation or pain since the first week. I also haven't seen many results, though my skin will peel, but the acne is still there. I also have perioral dermatitis and was hoping this would help, but again, it sheds skin off of my face every day, but my skin still looks just as bad as before. I'm hoping by month three there will be a noticeable difference and maybe I will up my dosage to a higher percentage if nothing changes next month."

"Dryness is a huge side effect. I couldn't tolerate the drug for more than 3 days. The itching, burning, dry skin, and rash were NOT worth its supposed benefits. Everyone is different, but I personally would not recommend it. With how painful it is, I'm actually surprised by the higher end rating. Maybe some people can tolerate it better than others."

Tazarotene topical "BE EXTREMELY CAREFUL! I developed a year's worth of huge and uncontrollable rashes and pimples all over my forearms from use. My dermatologist had written incorrect instructions for application, which led me to get completely obliterated with cystic acne that I am still recovering from today. It was no purge, something absolutely went wrong with the medication. I doubt it was ever meant to be intended for use on the body. The condition that I have been left with changed the last year of my life for the worse. This stuff is extremely potent. Use the smallest amount you can and be very careful. It did clear up my facial acne very well. Ask your derma for the most detailed step-by-step they've ever written in their lives."

Tazarotene topical "If I could rate this a 0, I would. I have struggled with acne for 5-6 years now. At the end of October, I FINALLY went to a dermatologist. She prescribed Tazorac along with Acticlate. However, Tazorac DOES NOTHING. It is a topical treatment meant to be used at night, it is supposed to help clear acne and scarring. I would use it every night after washing my face. It didn't work... AT ALL. I still get acne, and I have been using this stuff for 6 months. I highly DO NOT recommend."

Tazarotene topical "Tazorac made my acne worse. Once I stopped using it, my acne got better. It was in use with another topical cream. It’s very expensive."

"Went from having large cystic pimples that took more than a month to heal (then a new one would pop up) to having darn near clear skin. Just a small whitehead once or twice in the 3 months I've used it. My skin likes it better than tretinoin and the arazlo brand is easily spread and glides on smoothly. My skin can get a little stingy to other products if I use too much or too often, but heals quickly with a couple days of TLC. Love it."
