"I used the samples my doctor gave me for oily skin. It smelled terrible, but it really worked for my oily skin! I got the prescription and, guess what... it smells great and DOESN'T WORK! I brought it to my doctor and she compared the labels and they matched up. I thought maybe it was a fluke, so I got the medicine again and same thing... good smell, but doesn't work at all. It was so depressing because I had finally found something that controlled my oil, but I can't ask for a lifetime of samples! At $50 a pop (with insurance), I'm not going to keep trying it."

"Made my son’s chin acne 100 times worse. Chin was clear but started this cleanser as a preventative to football chin strap acne but broke him out with huge, painful pimples. I would not recommend this. Should have just stuck with a basic cleanser like Vanicream and Clindamycin topical solution."

"Very alarming symptoms. Joints in hands and big toes began hurting after using two weeks. I am talking constant pain. This medication causes lupus! I am so scared, I’ve stopped using it. This Rx is not worth the health risks. I am very upset with my dermatologist. I hope my joint pain goes away! I am most sickened by this."

"It smells terrible, so I only used it at night when I showered. I gave it 2 months, and it didn't help at all! I guess it works for some and not for others."

"I had severe acne on my face, arms, and back. I picked at the pimples until they bled, resulting in sores and scars. My dermatologist recommended a combination of a benzoyl peroxide body wash and the sulfacetamide sodium lotion. The lotion was drying and still caused me to pick at the scabs, halting the healing process. I then started putting a moisturizing lotion on top of the sulfacetamide lotion, creating a moisture barrier. Thus, cutting down on the dryness and itching. The acne improved greatly! You only need to put a thin layer on the skin to work. Since I had a bad habit of picking at the pimples, adding a non-scented moisturizing lotion alongside the medicated wash and lotion promoted healing and deterred further pimples from developing. Over-the-counter meds did absolutely nothing. Developing adult acne in your 50s is not easy to deal with, but I'm grateful for this lotion. It cured my acne."
