Sodium biphosphate / sodium phosphate for Bowel Preparation "I thought this was the perfect solution for not having to drink a gallon of awful colon cleansing drink. Boy, was I wrong. I ended up vomiting and not being able to finish the last six pills. I had to use 2 Fleet's to finish cleaning it in the morning. It's 2 weeks after my procedure, and I'm still having diarrhea and cramping. Next time, I'm powering through the gallon of prep!"

Sodium biphosphate / sodium phosphate for Constipation "OMG, this product is heaven-sent!!! Believe me! I was constipated to the point of literal tears for over a week. I tried Dulcolax, Miralax, Celus, and nothing, absolutely nothing. Then I saw Fleet, and I was skeptical, boy, was I wrong. Wow!!! It did start working after 5 minutes, it took me, though, about 15, I think, because I was backed up so much. Oh man, I was so, so, so happy. This is an amazing product. Sodium biphosphate / sodium phosphate for Constipation "Honestly, I have been bloated and constipated for months. I mean it when I say months. I would take laxatives and peppermint tea and ginseng tea. NOTHING. Until my boyfriend told me about this product that can help you poop in 1-5 minutes. I didn’t believe it at first. But I just did it right now, and I pooped so good. It was amazing. I will use it again when needed. This stuff works very well. I never take my time when it comes to reviews, but this is magic stuff. And it’s saline, so saline won’t do harm in your body compared to other products. Please buy because it will help you guys so much!"

The saline solution came right out again, and I'm still constipated; I'll have to go to the doctor's today to see if I can get an x-ray soon."

Sodium biphosphate / sodium phosphate for Constipation "I am currently on a high-protein diet and went three days without having a bowel movement. On the fourth day, I tried to use the bathroom but still could not ease my constipation. Over the next two days, I experienced discomfort and tried to relieve it by eating berries, taking Senokot, and drinking 3 liters of water. On the sixth day, I attempted to use the bathroom again but was still scared. I then ordered Microlax, which arrived the next day. I was nervous about using the enema but eventually mustered the courage to do so. After walking around for 5 minutes, I was finally able to pass everything, and I felt much better. However, just to be cautious, I hovered around the toilet for another 30 minutes after having another massive bowel movement just two minutes later. Overall, I would rate this experience 5 stars."

Sodium biphosphate / sodium phosphate for Constipation "This works!! I never take the time to write reviews, but this gave me so much relief. I have had impacted stool/constipation twice in the past two weeks. The first time I used a suppository, and it didn't work at all; in fact, it made the pain worse. I finally decided to try this enema the second time around. It didn't hurt to put it in, but it did hurt pretty badly when the stool was coming out. 10-15 minutes later, two huge mounds of impacted stool popped right out. I was so relieved. Use this if you have impacted stool/constipation. Note: I did have to get in the bathtub after administering the enema and pooped in the bath, kind of gross, but it did the trick. Cleaned myself and bathtub thoroughly after."

I had applied about 1/4 of the container and had voided bowels just a few hours earlier. Impossible for one person home alone to use effectively. Designers must know this."

Sodium biphosphate / sodium phosphate for Constipation "I have suffered from a major depressive disorder for many years now and have always suffered from the constipation side effect of taking venlafaxine (the active ingredient in Effexor and Elaxine)... don't know about other antidepressants. I used Fleet Phospho Soda for the 1st time about 18 months ago and it was a very welcomed relief. When taking Fleet, I follow the following regime: mix 1/3 of a single bottle with 250 ml water (as directed), ready the next round straight away, then set a 10 min timer on my phone. When the timer goes off, down the next glass as fast as you can (tastes like crap), ready the next round, and set the timer again. When the timer goes off, down the last round. Activity usually takes for me, approximately 3-4 hours to take effect."

I tried this Fleet Enema and I have a feeling that because I didn’t hold it in, it didn’t work. Sodium biphosphate / sodium phosphate for Constipation "So about an hour and a half ago, a nurse gave me this enema. I had had a bowel movement about 10 minutes before, but this is what the doctor wanted, so I wasn’t going to protest. It was inserted, which was definitely not a pleasant experience, but that was what I expected anyways. Immediately afterwards, I was already waddling over to the toilet as if it were a race against time, and gravity. At that point, the experience in there wasn’t very pleasant (again, what I expected). More of the enema than stool came out at first, so I had to do all the pushing myself, which was still quite difficult. This was uncomfortable, and I was already quite nauseous. It could be unrelated, but I had been gagging up salty saliva, which was unusual for me. The bowel movements were all very uncomfortable and extremely painful, which worsened the nausea. My stomach burns and is still having sharp cramping pain all over, even my back and chest. I expected a much more relieving experience."

Sodium biphosphate / sodium phosphate for Constipation "So I have Crohn's disease and I get constipated A LOT. Most times after pushing for 20-30 mins, it finally comes out! This time I knew something was different (I'm also pregnant). I looked up info, and after sitting in a warm/hot bath, I found enemas online. I went out and got the extra one, and after using it, it took about 10 mins because I was super backed up! But the relief was soooo worth it! Not sure if it's for everyone, but I got super hot and nauseous right after taking it! But it works!"

Sodium biphosphate / sodium phosphate for Constipation "I suffer from having IBS, and I get constipated a lot and suffer from it. Like others, I have either hard stool that won't come out or only little hard pebbles. I sometimes have to use my finger to break up the stool so I can get it out. Two days ago, I used a suppository to try to have a BM, it had been 5 days without one, and I started feeling sick with stomach cramps and nausea. The suppository I used didn't work. I was in so much pain the next day I used a Fleet Enema. The only thing I passed was the water. I took my Colace stool softener, that wasn't helping me anyway, but I was desperate. I knew that I would need to go to the ER the next day if I didn't have a BM. Well, 17 hours after I took the enema, I had a bad stomach ache, and I didn't stop pooping for 2 hours. OMG, I felt so much better. It cleaned me out, but why it took so long to work on me, I don't know. I was so sick the night I took the suppository, and nothing came out. I THANK GOD AND THE ENEMA I TOOK. I feel so much better."

Sodium biphosphate / sodium phosphate for Constipation "After a week of not having the urge to go, I knew it would be painful. Tried Fleet and waited about ten minutes to evacuate. It worked with some effort. I’ve also found that periodic constipation can be relieved with a shower wand enema. You can unscrew the handle part and screw on the wand while the shower is running. Just know that it takes only seconds to fill the colon. Best be ready by removing the drain grid also."

Not the first time I have used it for bowel prep for sigmoidoscopy, and both times it has caused severe cramps, chills, headache, and rectal bleeding. I am guessing if used for constipation, perhaps not absorbing as much of the medication to get the severe cramps."

Sodium biphosphate / sodium phosphate for Constipation "Ok. I had been basically constipated for 2 weeks, only going a very little (a couple of pebbles at a time). Having lots of gas, and then OMG! Fecal incontinence. Had leaking sticky stool (very little), but it freaked me out. Contacted my doctor after taking Sorbitol 2x a day (due to opioid meds), tried Miralax, still nothing. The leaking bothered me more than the constipation, but was uncomfortable with the bloating and feeling full all the time. The doctor recommended I use the saline Fleet enema. I couldn’t hold it long at all, but it has relieved it somewhat. No leaking that sticky stool, so it is half a success. Will do a 2nd enema tomorrow and see if I can hold it longer and really clean things out. But I did get relief. I will keep Fleet enemas in the medicine cabinet from now on."

For Constipation "I have blockages that develop over time, high up in my intestine, very bad and bothersome. This product has done more for me than all the rest together. I will miss it. I hope the claims against it are found to be exaggerated and can hardly wait to use it again."

Sodium biphosphate / sodium phosphate for Constipation "I was prescribed the Fleet Enema by an ED doctor as I had no bowel movement for 2 weeks, was vomiting after eating, and had a very distended stomach. I used the enema and waited 5 minutes, then had a bowel movement followed by a massive pain in my stomach, however, it was like a snaky type of bowel movement, not diarrhea or like water. I still feel compacted at the top of my stomach. How do I know if it worked?"

Sodium biphosphate / sodium phosphate for Constipation "Listen, tread carefully, best advice, pack a bag and move into your bathroom for the next 24 hours, get comfy because YOU AINT LEAVING. I took Fleet for constipation, and the box says it can take up to 15 minutes to an hour for the stuff to kick in. Let me tell you, I didn't even make it a minute, and I was running for that bathroom. The downside, besides being on the toilet for what feels like an eternity, is the stomach cramps come and go pretty rough too. I'm hoping to never need this again, but dang it, this stuff works. If you're backed up pretty good like I was, then give this stuff a go, you'll be pooping from the previous year to the current."

Sodium biphosphate / sodium phosphate for Constipation "One thing's for sure, is that this product does what it's supposed to. I've been constipated for almost 2 weeks due to medication. Yesterday I had an EXTREMELY painful bowel movement that had me literally crying and left me with a super painful hemorrhoid. Today I decided I couldn't go through that again, so I tried Fleet for the first time. Getting the nozzle in was weird but so much easier once I relaxed and bore down. I was able to use 2/3 of the solution and waited maybe 1 minute before I felt the extreme urge to go. My experience was painful, not necessarily a strain but more like a burning sensation. I feel so much relief after going. I was so scared to try, but it's worth it."

Sodium biphosphate / sodium phosphate for Constipation "I rarely leave reviews but feel compelled to after finally getting relief from constipation. I’ve been constipated since a medical procedure I had about a week ago. I tried Colace, Smooth Move tea, and a full dose of Miralax today. I had cramping and a small, hard BM but was still very bloated, uncomfortable, and constipated. I decided to give the Fleet Enema a try before contacting my doctor. It worked within about a minute. I had an explosive BM, followed by some smaller, soft BMs over the next 30 minutes. I’m feeling a lot better and am so glad I tried this."
