Sodium biphosphate / sodium phosphate for Bowel Preparation "I have taken OsmoPrep twice, once for my colonoscopy, the second time for surgery. I had no problems either time. No vomiting, cramps, pain. I did have to cut the pills in half because it was difficult for me to swallow them. Other than that, no problems."

Sodium biphosphate / sodium phosphate for Constipation "I love these. My fiancée has been struggling with intense constipation. She hasn't had a bowel movement other than a few bunny poops in two weeks. We finally decided to do the enema. The top is incredibly easy to push. She said it was a tiny bit uncomfortable but didn't hurt. I squeezed about 1/4-1/2 into her rectum, at times slowly and other times quickly accidentally before she screamed to take it out and rushed to the bathroom. She's been having a successful bowel movement for ten minutes! That's how much was impacted. And it only took three minutes of this enema to get it out!"

Started around 6:30 pm, kept getting up to use the restroom. Felt good after two hours. Give yourself enough time. Definitely worth it!"

Sodium biphosphate / sodium phosphate for Constipation "Very strong but gentle. Box says wait 30 min to 6 hours. Found from personal experience that you don't take this unless you plan on staying home. It always took 2 hours to work for me, so once I took it and then ran some errands, expecting to be home in 45 minutes-plenty of time, of course (since it was the only time I ever took it and left home), it started working in 30 minutes as the box said. Once you feel a 'gurgling' feeling in your intestines, you better get to a bathroom. Fortunately, I was close to home but barely made it home since my insides had turned to water. Once it starts working, I have a few watery movements over 2 hours, then all is well. No cramping, tastes better if diluted with lots of cold water. Drink it as fast as you can."

Sodium biphosphate / sodium phosphate for Bowel Preparation "I’m sure this is great for constipation, but I was not constipated and told to use it for bowel prep before an examination - was fine and easy to initially evacuate and then had no issues. But about 4 hours later, I’ve started experiencing unexpected stomach cramps and diarrhea. Not sure why the effects are lingering for me."

Sodium biphosphate / sodium phosphate for Constipation "I have struggled with chronic constipation for years, unfortunately, ever since I was a child. Fleet enemas are a lifesaver for when I need some relief. They are easy to use, and for me, get most of the job done. I am rating it a 9/10 only because sometimes I still have some stool left inside me even after enema usage. However, I have problems with motility issues too, so I am pretty sure it is my body and not the enema causing that. One tip I have is to try and hold the enema in for as long as possible. I try for five minutes. When I started using enemas, I held in the solution for one minute and only initially expelled the clear fluid. The saline makes you feel like you really have to go, but the shorter you hold it in, the less stool will initially come out. There is some cramping for me when I try to hold it in for the 5-minute period, and it can be difficult, but it is what gives you the best results!"

Sodium biphosphate / sodium phosphate "This is my experience with OsmoPrep: Procedure was at 4 pm Thursday, so the directions state to stop eating 12 hours before starting treatment. I ate dinner at 5:30 Wednesday and nothing after that. Started taking only 3 pills with 8 oz of water Thursday 5:45 am. After each pill taking, I took a walk to prevent bloating and nausea. It worked well, plus the walking seemed to make room for more water. So after 5 glasses of water and 15 pills, things were good. The treatment started working about 1 hour after the first pills and 15 minutes between."

Sodium biphosphate / sodium phosphate for Bowel Preparation "I had a horrific reaction to this Fleet Enema when I had to use it for a bowel prep. I have internal hemorrhoids and did not know it until after my scope, but my insertion was horrible. It got 10 times worse when I applied the fluid. It was so bad I could only use 1/2 the bottle because of the pain. I had to go to the bathroom immediately where most of the water came straight out, I did go to the bathroom as well. But I had so much rectal swelling, seriously it had me in tears. I would prefer magnesium citrate any day rather than to have to go back through that. I also still have rectal pain from the trauma, and it’s been almost a month now. Please be careful!"

For multiple reasons, being prescriptions, anxiety, and just plain scared to go, there are times I don't go a bit for almost 3 to 4 weeks. Scary, I know, but let me tell you, if you are reading this passage I'm writing, stop. Grab your Fleet Enema, take a deep breath, and give it to yourself. There is nothing to worry about, and this discomfort you have been feeling will all be gone a short time after administering the enema. It will not hurt, and you will feel better. Quit worrying!!! Sodium biphosphate / sodium phosphate for Constipation "I can’t go to the bathroom unless I use Fleet enemas. It’s made me codependent that my brain won’t signal to give me an urge. Either I use the enema or I will never get relief, and when I do use them, they put a lot of gas on my stomach, which makes me bloated and uncomfortable. No matter how hard I have tried to drink prune juice, apple juice, or take stool softeners, I am unable to evacuate. I can do 3 Fleet enemas before I feel better to start my day, but they leave me bloated and poop mucus. I wish I never started using them because now I can’t go to the bathroom on my own like a normal human being."

I tried everything: stool softeners, juice, milk of magnesia, and nothing was working. I saw Fleet in store and thought I’d give it a try. It is easy to use, has lubricant, but I had to get S/O to help due to I couldn’t hold it in for that long. In about 5 minutes, it started to work. Sodium biphosphate / sodium phosphate for Constipation "Anxiety sometimes makes me constipated, but it was really bothering me this time. I was scared to use an enema... but uncomfortable enough to go for it, and I didn't make it through half the bottle before I had to go... seriously less than a minute. It was miraculous. I feel so much better and had no pain from it, only a little stomach cramping, but only a few seconds' worth. I guess I'll just save the other half, lol. Would definitely recommend. Oh... Sodium biphosphate / sodium phosphate for Constipation "I was constipated for 5 days. I also have hemorrhoids. I couldn't go at all. I think I waited too long, by the time I tried using Colace, I went to CVS and for around 4 dollars, I got Fleet. Let me just say I felt very uncomfortable. It felt really weird. I was scared to use it. Even a minute later, I had to go. I didn't even use the whole bottle as directed. My advice: just take your time, it's well worth it."

Sodium biphosphate / sodium phosphate for Bowel Preparation "After about the third set of 4 pills, each followed by 8 oz of water, I had projectile vomiting. I was so sick and in so much pain. I thought it was going to be a great alternative to the liquid prep, which I cannot tolerate at all. Now, a week later, I am still having bloating, stomach cramps, black bowel movements, weight gain, and very swollen ankles (which is something I have never suffered from). I also did not take the last set of 4 pills and had to give myself a Fleet's enema to complete the prep. I noticed afterward, however, that it says to use caution if taking lisinopril and oxycodone, so perhaps that is why I had such a difficult time."

Sodium biphosphate / sodium phosphate for Constipation "I used the Fleet Extra Strength Enema kit, and I feel like a new person! I felt the urge to go in just 4 minutes! However, the only downfall is the cramps that follow until your whole colon is cleansed. These cramps lasted about 7 minutes, and once everything was out of me, I felt amazing! Highly recommend the extra strength version!"

Sodium biphosphate / sodium phosphate for Constipation "I'm 7 days post-spinal surgery and had been provided stool softener after surgery to help movement. After 4 days, trying SennaCot, Dulcolax, beet root juice, plums, prunes, and milk of magnesia, I tried Fleet. Like the other reviews state, it isn't really uncomfortable, but just gets things moving. I recommend that you buy more than one, as I bought the twin pack and it was only a few dollars. First use, I only moved things enough that the hard bits came away. Then, there was some relief. Later that evening, I guess finally the other items I had taken pushed the rest through, so I had bad diarrhea on and off for a while. However, I felt 10 times better. The next day, I kept normal with a bowel movement, and again on day 7, I'm using the second bottle."

For Constipation "I am a fairly healthy 71-year-old male. All my life, I have been going 10 to 14 days between bowel movements. Over the years, my doctor has given me various prescription and non-prescription drugs to try and shorten the time between movements. None worked. Three years ago, on my own, I discovered FLEET ENEMA. This is a great product. I now have movements every two or three days. Feel great. Sometimes I have to use 2 or 3 bottles to clear everything out. I highly recommend this product."

While it claims to work in 15 min to an hour, that was not the case for me. It took about five hours for this to work for me, a good portion of which my stomach was cramping painfully. I was in and out of the toilet for three hours after that. Fortunately, this happened on a Sunday, so I didn’t have to worry about work, but I just felt sick, tired, and achy the whole day. Had this happened on a workday, I would’ve needed to take it off."

Sodium biphosphate / sodium phosphate for Bowel Preparation "I have IBS C&D, so I’m used to stomach aches. I usually use magnesium citrate once a month just to get my gut in order, especially since I started keto. All the fat and protein can do a number on the belly. I will say, at first (maybe for 3 minutes) it kind of burned, but within 2 minutes I started having bowel movements. I was done within 30 minutes, and now I just feel a little sore in my anal muscles, lol. But good! Mag cit. leaves you with 5-6 hours of waiting, then 1-4 hours of diarrhea. So this was nice to be in and out within 1 hour. 10/10"

I was diagnosed with an ileus and given oral laxatives and glycerin suppositories, all to no avail. The trapped gas pains were excruciating. My nurse suggested a Fleet Enema to get things moving. I got relief within minutes. The enema was repeated, and I was completely pain-free. Wish I had been given an enema sooner."

Sodium biphosphate / sodium phosphate for Constipation "I experienced severe constipation from using Zofran in pregnancy. I was backed up for several days and unable to have a bowel movement. I went to the ER, and they asked me to try magnesium citrate, Fleet Enema, or senna laxative pills. I purchased the Fleet Enema. After 4 minutes of using the product, I had the urge to have a bowel movement. The liquid came out, and I continued to push, but the stool was too difficult to pass. I stayed in the toilet for half an hour trying, but eventually gave up. I went to sleep after that, feeling discouraged and thinking I would have to try something else the next morning. A few hours into my sleep, I suddenly felt mild stomach discomfort and leaking watery bowels. I went to the toilet, and everything came out quickly like diarrhea, although some of it was still hard but much easier to push than before. I was so relieved and comfortable after using this product. Highly recommend."
