"I was on Simponi for 5 years and it worked great till it started to wear off and I got psoriasis. So my doctor tells me about Cosentyx and how it will help the AS and psoriasis at the same time. Got me on 150 mg, 5 doses then 1 monthly. Psoriasis worsened, now I am at the 9th dose and back pain is like when I was taking nothing at all. I see 300 mg doses are recommended, so that is my only hope if they increase the dose. P.S. psoriasis and itchy rash almost gone after treating it with corticosteroid cream. Before that, it was just getting worse."

"Oh boy, where to begin? Ok, so I was born with juvenile arthritis. Then, at the age of 19, doctors finally found out I had ankylosing spondylitis (AS). Been on Remicade since I was 8 years old, worked amazing until I turned 18. Started Enbrel, worked good for 4 years, then it stopped. Switched to Humira, stopped for 4 years, switched to now Cosentyx. 5 years in, I’m 31 now, on the 5th year, it hit me like a wrecking ball just out of the blue, it stopped working. I have been waking up feeling like a 90-year-old man with all the stiffness. Can’t sit for more than 10 minutes without feeling the painful stiffness. I love to work out, have my own gym and everything. Now I feel incredibly painful when I squat, bench, curl, do pull-ups, push-ups, and just lift in general. Even carrying the 40-pack of water is a challenge from all the pain. I wish I could understand why this happens all the time, seems like these drugs have a term limit to when it stops working."

"I have been using COSENTYX for 12 months. It was scary. Constant fatigue, stomach problems, terrible stagnation. I couldn’t go normally or roll over in bed. My spine and knees became completely flexed. Convulsions in the legs began."

"I've finished the 5-week loading dose 3 weeks ago. It is not working for ankylosing spondylitis. I am very disappointed. My doctor is upping my dose to 300 mg, and I hope that will work."

"I finished the loading dose with no improvement. My doctor upped me to 300 mg. I'm on month 4, I'm very fatigued and still in pain, so I'm not impressed with it. I'm also experiencing mouth sores."

"Not long after starting this medication, I ended up being rushed into the hospital with a perforated bowel and sepsis. I nearly died due to complications and spent a few weeks in intensive care."

"Cosentyx did not work at all, and as it has been one of the most expensive biologics out there - you think it is going to work."

"Seemed to have worked for about 6 months, but now it is not. Not sure if it’s the medication or the disease, but I know I have liver disease and chronic inflammation to gallbladder and thyroid."

"Well, I’ve had this drug now for 16 weeks without any improvements. I had cold-like symptoms with it, mainly a runny nose. Very easy to use, didn't feel a thing."
