Regadenoson "I was very stressed over getting this test done. I had the Lexi/chemical (don't know the name), no treadmill. It was easier than I thought. The only problem I had, which could have been because I'm claustrophobic, is feeling dizzy after the machine took the pictures. When they injected the stuff that was supposed to raise my heart rate, I barely felt anything, actually talked to nurses while it was going in. I only felt a little heaviness in my chest that went away in seconds. If you are nervous like I was, don't be. At least my experience was mild. Slight headache and a little heaviness in my chest. Then I ate something and had some coffee. I took more pictures after, then I went home. Pretty easy honestly. Only took about 2-2 1/2 hours."

Regadenoson "Nothing to stress about! I am anxious by nature, so I was super scared to have the stress test done. They first ask questions about what you have recently drunk and eaten and then inserted an IV. They placed a bunch of sticky pads on the chest area and then go to the testing area. As long as you are not claustrophobic, you should be fine. They attach a bunch of wires and reverse you into a cyclical chamber where scans are done. They take scans of the heart before stress. They then inject you with the scanning fluid, I felt a little blushing and my calves felt a little tight, but that was it. For me, the worst part was having to keep both arms above your head. My right arm got sore. The test was over before long, and afterwards I felt great. Do not stress over this test!"

"Instantaneous dizziness, felt numb, weak, tachy, became extremely nauseous. Had no out-of-breath sensation or chest pain. It was similar in experience to Versed injection."

"I wasn’t so lucky with the use of this drug for an MRI morphology. The adverse reaction started almost immediately (5 secs) after the injection, felt like hot knives were shredding my lungs. With every breath, my lungs filled with blood/fluid, which landed me in the CCU, long QT, on BiPAP and a 6-day hospital stay! I’m home now but wouldn’t advise the use of this drug."
