Reese's Pinworm Medicine (pyrantel) for Pinworm Infection "I have had this infection along with my 2 year old for 4 months now, this medicine does not work. We have taken several doses and have had no relief. They have since migrated to the vaginal area. I'm afraid I will die with this infection. Nothing helps."

Reese's Pinworm Medicine (pyrantel) for Pinworm Infection "Apparently, the Rx drug Emverm is the preferred pinworm treatment. Despite having excellent health insurance, I was going to have to pay 100% of the cost, which amounted to $2,000 for six pills in April 2022. Instead, I decided to take five doses of Reese's pinworm medicine over 15 days, but it had no effect. Throughout the following year, I tried various alternative remedies daily, but none proved successful. Curious if the price of Emverm had decreased, I checked with the pharmacy and discovered that the drug now costs $4,000. Frustrated by this exorbitant price, I purchased another family pack of Reese's for just $20 and took five doses over ten days. However, the only result I experienced was my brain starting to buzz. The FDA should take action to remove Reese's from the market, and they should provide an explanation as to why the generic drug mebendazole is not being produced by multiple companies. It is concerning that only one company is producing it under the name Emverm and charging such high prices for it."

Reese's Pinworm Medicine (pyrantel) for Pinworm Infection "I have used this since April 23, 2021, and it is now July 28, 2021, and I still have pinworms!!!! It does not work and should be taken off the market!!! Now the Rx drug Mebendazole is $500 for 1 tablet!!! I have ordered it from India but it takes 3-4 wks. I am suffering as are millions of others!!!!"

For Pinworm Infection "It worked for me. After the first dose I saw the worms coming out. It’s really gross, I was traumatized at first but you get desensitized to the horror. My Dr prescribed it to me for 14 days in rotation with ivermectin and biltricide. Parasites are insanely hard to get rid of and you need pharmaceutical medications to do it."

For Hookworm Infection "For those of you not getting relief from multiple doses of pyrantel: consider that you may have a different type of worm infection. Pinworms symptoms can sometimes overlap with strongyloides stecoralis or hookworm and need a different treatment. I suggest looking into these possibilities."

Pin-X (pyrantel) for Pinworm Infection "We found pinworms in our 6 y.o. son first then later I started to feel the symptoms myself. We treated all family. It seems to help my son better than me - I still have symptoms. I took it three times already, but it doesn't really work that well. "

Pin-X (pyrantel) for Pinworm Infection "Tastes like cake batter... not as bad as other medicines... works as long as you wash & thoroughly clean your house for several days after treatment as well as treat your ENTIRE family even if you think they have it or not!"

For Pinworm Infection "I have had pinworms for several months now. I have bought almost a half dozen boxes of pyrantel Pamoate and it has not helped (sigh) .....next step is going to see my physician to see if I can get something that will actually work."

For Enterobiasis "It works for the first day or two, then they come back. My son and I are on our 3rd round. It is a temporary fix. We have deep cleaned the house and are very conscious to wash hands and be very clean, shower twice a day, etc. We took a round of albendazole also. So far it has minimized the infection, but then they come back a week later."

For Trichostrongylosis "Tried Praziquantel, albendazole, and mebendazole for parasites I got from cats. PYRANTEL seemed to be the strongest. Cleared my lungs up - suffered for 6 years. Purchased a 2 lb bottle online of vanilla flavor. I took 2 tablespoons for three days, and it cleared up. Thank God!"
