For High Blood Pressure "Was prescribed perindopril after a heart attack, been taking them for a few years now with no negative results until now, I've always had thick hair but over the last few weeks it has been shedding quite a lot at the back, checked up and apparently this is quite a common side effect"

For High Blood Pressure "I was prescribed Perindopril (4/1.25 mg) for hypertension, with an emphasis on a stubborn diastolic value. My experience has been positive; I have been on it for about 6 weeks. Not only did it reign in my diastolic blood pressure (both systolic and diastolic are in the normal range now), but it alleviated my symptoms of anxiety. My heart no longer races, and the emotional components of my anxiety are also gone. I do notice a bit of a dry cough. I am very grateful that my doctor introduced me to Perinopril. I feel really good now!"

For High Blood Pressure "Peridopril 10mg for like 3 months about 3 weeks into it had a really bad back pain didn’t think it was this medication till like 2 months after all kinds of suffering. If you have bad pain and it started right after taking this medication."

For High Blood Pressure "On 4 mg once a day. My legs don't swell anymore and my heart doesn't pound in my chest hard all night. Sinus issues, dry cough and some hair loss though. Has not changed by blood pressure from the previous Adalat XL I was taking. Usual reading 140/90. But my high BMI doesn't do me any favors."

For High Blood Pressure "I am using hypertension medicine Preterax Arginine 5mg/1.25 mg for five years which has controlled my BP. In the last two years I have started to get gum disease and bleeding gums. I heard this is side effects of hypertension medicine."

For High Blood Pressure "Too Coversyl 4mg with indapamide daily-seemed to have no effect on lowering my blood pressure. My renal function declined slightly. I also got a rash on my back after 1-2 weeks on the Coversyl. I am now trying Ramipril x 2 days-rash is going away. Hope for better luck in lowering blood pressure."

For High Blood Pressure "I moved to Perindopril after getting the cough with other ACE inhibitors. I read that this particular medicine has the lowest reported cough side effect and I have to say that I haven't had the cough at all. I've been on it for 6 months. I take it at night because I read research that indicated a lesser possibility of a heart attack or stroke, but that apparently has been disproved since. One thing that has confused me is the recommendation to take it two hours after food or up to one hour before; this has been a pain sometimes when eating later in the evening. However, I've just read that it can be taken with or without food so a bit confused."
