Diurex Water Capsules (pamabrom) for Edema "Currently taking them for fluid build up/water weight and they work great for me. It can take a day for things to really move but it helps a bunch w my foot swelling (bad vein valve and injured foot a bunch in past). I take one in am, one in pm. Noticed a weight change of -2 to -6 lbs."

For Edema "edema in legs and major swelling around belly after IUD progesterone placement. Edema greatly reduced after the very first pill. Second day all my knee and hand stiffness is completely gone. Belly is down and I haven't felt this good in years. I'm finally not taking any anti-inflammatories. Turns out all my stiffness in my joints was water retention"

For Edema "A new med I have been prescribed is causing dependent edema to lower legs. Pamabrom taken three times a day is alleviating the swelling far better than I would have guessed an OTC diuretic could. Great product."

For Edema "After about a week at 2-3x per day, noticeable reduction in swelling. Had pretty bad edema in my feet, ankles, stiffness, mobility was impacted, now essentially gone and I only take once a day. Very satisfied, well worth the purchase!"

For Abdominal Distension "Pamabrom definitely helps with reducing water retention/bloating during period. However, if I take it on an empty stomach and/or don't drink enough water, it makes me nauseated. Drinking more water seems to help with the nausea. I don't become nauseated easily so this is a bit off-putting to me, and isn't listed in the side effects. Oddly enough, it also seems to act as a laxative for me (the poop is dehydrated, but I have the urge to go much more often than usual), but I have weird gastro issues so this might not hold true for others."

For Premenstrual Dysphoric Disorder "I am allergic to this medication, it was not found on tests, just on a trial and error basis.(Pamprin, Women’s Tylenol Complete, Midol Teen, and one use of BackAid were taken at different times) I get severe feverish and swollen hives on half of my body. Reactions did not come when I initially started this medication. When I was able to take medication using this as an inactive ingredient, it worked well. My body became intolerant to this specific diuretic after 2 years of as needed use. I CAN, however, use other diuretics and this one is a pain to include on a medication list as an allergy. Many hospital databases have a hard time showing it."
