Pataday (olopatadine) "This does not work. For two years my left eye looks like something from a horror movie. It looks like I was hit with a double hockey-stick to all observers. There is no pain or itch. I have been told its "covid-pink-eye." but I don't agree."

Pataday (olopatadine) "Prescribed before and after cataract surgery with good results, decreased itching, tearing, reddening, which lessened the urge to rub eyes post surgery. Only drawback for me, must be used daily or you are back to square one. Did not interfere with post surgery meds. It does have a cost factor."

Pazeo (olopatadine) "I have struggled with increasing allergies as I hit my mid-thirties, now 45. When my eyes were itchy it was miserable. My eyes would swell like Quasimodo, protruding and painful. One little drop in the corner of each eye and it was instantly resolved. I wait till necessary because, 1) they are extremely expensive and 2) you don't need to be mucking up your natural ability the body has to do some of its own battling and system functions (as with anything). If you need more, its likely that you are either using it in the center of your eye and its running off instead of into your tear ducts or its not the medicine for you. It burns for about a minute and then you can get back to life."

Pataday (olopatadine) "I bought this because of itchy watery eyes. I am not sure how well it works. I had to stop using it because of blurred vision caused by the drops. I also had the feeling I was putting super glue in my eyes. They actually caused my eyes to stick together it's very uncomfortable and scary. I cannot recommend."

Pazeo (olopatadine) "Was prescribed pazeo from my eye doctor for allergic conjunctivitis, It does seem like my eyes are clearer, but it gives me an awful tasting drip in my throat and maybe upsetting my stomach. I've been taking the medicine for five days one drop in each eye, and was given a sample that lasted the five days. When I got the prescription I was able to use a coupon that brought the price from 190$ to 40$ .... The prescribed bottle was is literally the same size as the free sample I got!!!! It's only 5 days worth of drops and it's a 2.5ML bottle. The other thing that bothers me is what is in the drops... Boric acid??? Is this ok to have dripping into my stomach from using in my eyes? Not sure about pazeo yet...."

Pataday (olopatadine) "It’s very weird to hear people talk about how expensive it is. On Amazon it’s $16 and at Walmart $20. It may work better for some people than others but If you have really bad allergies like I did you’d pay almost anything. I’ve had multiple eye issues and I don’t know why but Rx ophthalmic solutions are like liquid gold. $100 for .5 ml after insurance is nothing, so cost of this is minuscule by comparison and so worth it if it works"

Pataday (olopatadine) "I have always had allergies that affected my eyes in the worst ways. Even on off season, there would be times I couldn’t even open my eyes because they’d be burning and itching. I’ve tried everything under the sun that my doctors have prescribed me and OTC. I randomly decided to pick the Extra Strength once a day version at Target after years of medications failing on me. Within minutes, I was better! No burning, itchy redness. No painful irritation. The only issue I had was everything was super blurry for me for about 5 minutes after the eye drops were put in (but I’ll take it! I’ve had worse side effects). After that, I can see clear as day with no irritation!!"

Pataday (olopatadine) "Pataday is amazing. One little drop in each eye in the morning, and the redness goes away within seconds. Pataday definitely improves my vision throughout the day, especially during allergy season. And, you only have to wait 15 minutes before you can put your contacts in. I don't experience any side effects, except a thinner wallet."

Patanol (olopatadine) "I was prescribed this for my allergies and took it only a couple of times. I have an auto-immune disorder that causes dry eyes and this medicine made them drier. It also made them itch more and become redder."

Pazeo (olopatadine) "Who in their right mind (including me) keeps big pharmaceutical companies in business like this? Over rated and over priced! $66 out of pocket after insurance paid another $180.00.... Never again will I buy this garbage!"

Pataday (olopatadine) "Gave me zero relief from itching and watering eyes. I tried applying after my eyes felt irritated and in the morning before going outside. Neither worked. Visine seems to work better for four times the amount at half the price."

Patanol (olopatadine) "I started having red eyes. After the third day of not seeing any progress (I thought I had allergies). I went to the doctor for a diagnosis to find out I had "pink eye". He prescribed me Patanol to control the redness and told me to just wait as "pink eye" is a virus and will go away on its own. I decided to still buy the prescription to find out it cost $160 for 5ml tiny bottle! I used it twice a day (as prescribed) and my eyes were back to its normal white shade in couple of days. I never heard of this eye drop. It is really expensive but seems to be worthy."

"Hate to break sad news but, excessive use causes your eyes to become lazy, produce less tears, and become more dependant on these expensive eye drops. If you have allergies use over the counter loratadine and, if you sit in your butt in front of a air conditioner, be it home or car, your eyes will dry up and itch like hell, same at wintertime if you do not have a humidifier. As you get old your eyes produce less tears, a mechanism not well understood even by best of Ophthalmologists. If your eyes are itching, really dry, burning, wipe them with a clean wet towel. Have a house humidifier and, if in car, you are out of luck, use some over the counter eye lubricants without any preservatives in them. Take a periodic refreshing shower and wash your eyes. You can also wash your eyes over a sink."

Pazeo (olopatadine) "Here is a case of big pharma at its finest. $197 for a .5 ml bottle. Doc gave me two bottles sample. One was empty, one lasted a month. Same size. The one I purchased had TWO drops in it!! My insurance stopped covering it at the first of the year. I will never buy this again. I'm not sure it works for my condition, anyway as symptoms have not cleared up. Don't buy this."

Pazeo (olopatadine) "I was a little weary of trying it out because even after insurance it was $55 for the tiniest bottle ever, but I thought hey if it works then it might be worth it. I've been using it daily and have not noticed a change in the redness of my eyes. It has helped at relieving my eyes from being itchy, but I still notice that my eyes are red and veiny. I would not recommend it, I'm sure you can get another eye drop that works just as mediocre for much less!"

Pazeo (olopatadine) "was given a small sample bottle from my doctor and it seemed to ease my symptoms somewhat. However, when I got to the pharmacy , with my little coupon, that read "pay as little as $10 for Pazeo" that had accompanied the sample, the wanted $95 for the same size tiny bottle. I told them to keep it. Pharmacy then magically came up with an additional "special offer" that reduced that down to $55. There should be just one price, instead of all these hidden discounts, the drug was not effective enough for me to cough up that much to continue this drug."

Patanol (olopatadine) "Even though Patanol is a bit pricy even with insurance (about $30), and without about $190, it's better than rubbing my eyes so hard every day and having my contacts come out from them itching so bad. It absolutely works. The only reason I'm giving it a 9 is just because it's annoying to have to wait 10 minutes to put my contacts in when I'm getting ready in the mornings as it has to be absorbed before you do."

Pazeo (olopatadine) "These eye drops have saved my itchy watery red eyes in a matter of seconds from the first application. So thankful for this medicine it last me 24 hrs during hay fever and when the seasons and temperatures change . I only use these when i absolutely need it . The only con i would say is it can like most eye drops you get a nasty taste in your mouth due to drainage but it doesn't last that long its worth it to relieve my eyes from this torture of allergies. P.s .. i suffer from seasonal allergies , dust and i have occular itching forget the techinal fancy name for it lol . I would definitely recommend this med."

Pazeo (olopatadine) "I have had watery eyes for a month now. Itching so bad I have rubbed the bridge of my nose raw. I used these drops right before bed. I woke up with the worst headache in my life! I feel absolutely out of control. The cost was $130 even with the “good rx” coupon. The pharmacy gave me some coupon for an amount that had me pay $59.00. This headache isn’t worth it. I need all my money back."

Patanol (olopatadine) "I have used Patanol for 10 years twice a day for allergies. I have noticed over the past year that the amount in the bottle does not last 30 days any longer. I am EXTREMELY careful to not squeeze out any additional drops and this month it only lasted 3 weeks. I used to get 4 to 5 weeks out of a bottle even with squeezing out additional drops accidentally. For the price they could at least last the full 30 days. They are effective for allergies and don't burn my eyes like the generic that insurance tried to force me into."

Pataday Once Daily Relief (olopatadine) "I started with blurred vision, then headaches, then nausea, stomach issues, I thought I was getting the flu or something. THEN I remembered I was using Pataday 1 drop per day at the advice of my eye doctor, stopped using right away as I looked up the symptoms. What the heck, no thanks, I'll stick with lubricant drops. I wish my doctor would have warned me. I feel like the past 4 days were waisted and very uncomfortable for me."
