"I can't believe what I am reading. All of this is happening with me but pertaining to Trazodone! Teva Pharmaceuticals changed the Trazodone pills last year that I have been on for over 15 years. It is the only older antidepressant that puts me to sleep, calms me down, and alleviates my depression. I bought out a pharmacy last year - 1,000 pills because I knew Teva changed the molecular structure and had to make certain I had enough before I ran out. The new pill makes me so sick. Tried the 50 mg, the 100 mg, and even the 150 mg! Whatever Teva is putting into their new pills is causing the opposite effect! It's all stemming from the inactive ingredients and causing no sleep, confusion, and I have reached the point that I feel completely slow! The pills are used up now, so I have to consider a compounding pharmacy. What is Teva doing? I swear, I am at my breaking point."

Nefazodone "Minimal side effects. Last resort after many years on other antidepressants that I couldn't tolerate the side effects with or just plain didn't work."

"Best antidepressant I ever used. Also helped me sleep earlier when no other drugs worked as well to treat my Circadian Rhythm Sleep Disorder (Delayed Sleep Phase Disorder)."

"Nefazodone did nothing positive for me. On the contrary. At 300 mg (150 mg twice a day), I couldn’t even function and constantly fell asleep during the day. Bad nightmares, constipation, and disassociation started to appear. Two months after starting this medication, I now have liver issues (I never had problems with my liver). I was hopeful that nefazodone would be finally 'it' after trying around 30 different medications/treatments without any success. I decided that I’ll be steering clear of those medications from now on, as at this point, it not almost destroyed me and my health but my marriage is hanging on by a thread, as well as the relationship with my children. I caution everyone that is pondering taking any kind of mental health meds to think twice at this point."
