For Bacterial Vaginosis "I have had BV many times over the years. The worst thing for me is the uncomfortable pain and itching. It started after menopause or once menopause started. If men have dirty hands, this can cause a problem, also, their mouth has so much bacteria and their semen. The best thing is to make sure you use a condom, especially if you have a new partner. MetroGel definitely works great and no side effects for me. A little bit of discharge while using it and cramps, not bad though."

For Bacterial Vaginosis "I've just started using the gel. I'm on my second night today, so far I can say it's helping, no discharge, no odor. I'm just suffering from abdominal pain and cramps. I can't wait to finish the treatment and see if it really does work."

For Bacterial Vaginosis "I am over 25 and never had BV before. I was assured it’s not sexually transmitted, and honestly, I think I got it by using a soap too close to my vagina, which affected the good bacteria, leaving the bad bacteria to overpopulate. I made the “mistake” of reading reviews of both the pill and the gel before starting treatment. I was terrified. How could something that seems to be so simple of an issue that so many women experience be treated with medication that causes so many horrible side effects!? Within minutes of use, I didn’t feel right. My lower abdomen was hurting, like cramps. This, along with the many negative reviews I read, caused me to have a panic attack. My mouth got dry, my tongue felt enlarged, and my entire body was shaking from what I think was the panic attack. I showered to try and wash it out, and after an hour, I finally could calm down enough to sleep. Won’t be using a second dose, doesn’t seem worth it. Smell gone after one use."

For Bacterial Vaginosis "I just started mine last night, but I have had no odor or white, clumpy discharge. I hope it’s working. I did have some cramping."
