"I have found much more pain relief in my targeted knee affliction, I have nearly completely bone on bone and will eventually need a knee replacement. My PCP actually started prescribing me lidocaine patches, which I felt did nothing for my pain. A friend gave me a Salonpas patch, the main ingredient is methyl salicylate, and it was a night-and-day difference. Now I do still have pain, but it's definitely noticeably better, and I haven't had any side effects either. I like the fact that it's plant-based (more natural), and my pain is totally manageable, especially compared to the lidocaine patches, of which I was appalled at the harm and serious side effects of long-term use. I use a patch in the morning, and after 30 minutes of icing down, I apply another before bedtime. The improvement gives me hope of delaying that knee replacement till much longer than originally thought/said. Happy, happy, and opiate-free! I say it's a big win-win."

Methyl salicylate topical "Don’t help pain at all and don’t even stay on. I’ve put them on at night, and they’re off by morning! Waste of money. Commercials are just hype, sorry."

Methyl salicylate topical "Been using the patch for 5 years and the best type of product I've used for lower back pain, however, the newer product doesn't stick to the skin, so it's no longer effective."

Methyl salicylate topical "Worthless. No relief whatsoever. Patch rubs against clothing and ends up in a ball. No wonder there is no money back if dissatisfied. Seems like a scam!"
