For Pain "I was prescribed this medication after having my wisdom teeth extracted. I'm taking it every 3 hours for pain as directed by my doctor and am finding it especially effective when combined with a normal dose of ibuprofen every 6 hours. Since Meperitab kicks in almost immediately (10-20 minutes) and wears off just as suddenly, the ibuprofen helps to cover the gap."

For Pain "Meperitab is the best drug for short-term pain relief, as it is Demerol in a pill. Gives euphoria and causes drowsiness when taken orally."

For Pain "Great medicine for short-term relief. Long-term pain control with Meperidine requires dosage adjustment as it becomes less effective over time. There are side effects that can be a nuisance or even severe, especially if one suddenly stops taking the medicine after being on it for a long period."
