For Pain "I was prescribed this medication after having my wisdom teeth extracted. I'm taking it every 3 hours for pain as directed by my doctor, and am finding it especially effective when combined with a normal dose of ibuprofen every 6 hours. Since Meperitab kicks in almost immediately (10-20 minutes) and wears off just as suddenly, the ibuprofen helps to cover the gap."

For Pain "Meperitab is the best drug for short term pain relief as it is Demerol in a pill. Gives euphoria and causes drowsiness when taken orally."

For Pain "Great medicine for short term relief. Long term pain control with Meperidine requires dosage adjustment as it becomes less effective over time. There are side-effects that can be a nuisance or even severe, especially if one suddenly stops taking the medicine after being on it for a long period."
