Sutab (magnesium sulfate / potassium chloride / sodium sulfate) "Began to work almost immediately when you finish the 16 ounces of water with the pills, so be close to the bathroom. It gave me a slight nauseous feeling and some mild belching and minimal stomach cramps that passed quickly. It was so much better than prepping with Gatorade (gag me). The only drawback is my colonoscopy was scheduled for 7 am, so my second dose began at 1 am. I was so exhausted from no sleep. I would recommend Sutab."

Sutab (magnesium sulfate / potassium chloride / sodium sulfate) "I have lost track of how many bowel preps I’ve done at this point, but compared to the salty drink I had during my first colonoscopy when I was 16, I was excited when I was told they have pills for the prep for my surgery tomorrow. I literally just had to do this for a colonoscopy 2 months ago and had to drink one of the liquids, so I am unfortunately a frequent flyer when it comes to these. I don’t remember what time I took the doses- I honestly just estimated the times I was supposed to take them based on my check-in time in the early morning. Took me about 90 seconds to take all 12 pills each time. I love water, so drinking water all day (plus bone broth for protein) was also easy. No cramps, nausea, or any other adverse side effects. Been peeing out of my rear end and it’s now yellow (that’s the sign you’re ready)."

"I took the SuTab prep kit after a day of clear liquid dieting. I followed the instructions exactly as they were written. Although it appeared to have worked, I am having to have a second colonoscopy because not all of the bowel was clear. The doctor was unable to finish the procedure. I was excited about being able to use pills rather than a liquid for prep, but this did not work. I would rather have only had one colonoscopy and one to pay for rather than two."

Sutab (magnesium sulfate / potassium chloride / sodium sulfate) "This was my fourth colonoscopy prep. All the others were awful because of the copious amounts of liquid I had to drink. 20 years ago the prep barely worked and I was up all night with cramps. The pills are great. I took the first dose at 4 pm. I swallowed all of them in 1 minute. I had one soft stool. Then 2 hrs after the pills at 6 pm pure liquid came out. No cramping. Lasted until about 830 pm. Was able to sleep without any problems. Started again at 4 am. I felt a little nautilus drinking my last 16 oz of water but slowed down, burped and was fine. Eruptions began at 5 am. But not that much left. I hope I will be done by 730 when I go to dr. I agree with using cream on your bottom and tucks which sting. I probably should have drank more during the day."

Sutab (magnesium sulfate / potassium chloride / sodium sulfate) "This was the absolute easiest prep ever! I had done the drink in the past and went through the horror of drinking that awful stuff. I woke the next morning and was not clear. So I never returned to have a colonoscopy. 8 years later and my new doctor prescribed Sutab, it was so easy to take, 12 pills at 6pm and take with 16 oz water. Then two 16 oz water after. I was able to sleep without needing to get up in the middle of the night. I woke at 4 am and finished the other 12 tablets. I did not have any nausea or vomiting at all. Trick is to take them slowly and don't think about it. The prep was perfect and I was able to finally have my colonoscopy."

"Prep worked well for me. It had the Robitussin flavor. It started within 20 minutes of taking the first gulp. It was like opening a faucet. Lasted about 2.5 hours each dose. I prepared several days before taking the prep by limiting what I ate and how often I ate food. Drank only coffee, lots of flavored water and Gatorade, I ate very little days before prep, baked potato, rice, soup, and chicken. I avoided red meat as red meat takes much longer to digest. Last 2 days before prep I basically fasted, had water and Gatorade. I believe what I did helped make the prep much easier. No side effects encountered during the prep and immediately after colonoscopy."

Sutab (magnesium sulfate / potassium chloride / sodium sulfate) "I have to get colonoscopies often and always used the liquid preps, which I hate, but the last time I used one the effects of it didn't stop for a couple of days. So I got switched to Sutab and, wow, it's so much better and easier! For me, it worked great. I took the pills as prescribed, using Hint water, and they worked within 30 minutes. So much easier and better than any of the liquid preps, and I got a super clean colon. Those who didn't, I'm wondering if they followed the prescribed diet as required. I followed everything I was told to do and it worked just great for me."

Sutab (magnesium sulfate / potassium chloride / sodium sulfate) "I am going to leave a sort of middle-of-the-road review, as there are pros and cons. I have Crohn's and have had a colonoscopy at least every three years since I was diagnosed at 17. I am 72 now, so that's a lot of preps. I have had trouble over the years getting the liquid prep down to stay; the golytely gallon jug type is kind of viscous like spit, and the others are horrible tasting. I would get about half down and then start throwing up. So when I was offered the pills I jumped at it. I followed the procedure and it worked. However, the process took much longer for me with many more trips to the bathroom. I got 2 hours of sleep last night at most. One caution: AFTER the procedure, don't forget to rehydrate. We had an hour drive home and I fell asleep. When we got home I ate lunch and forgot that the doctor said Sutab stays in your system for a while. I felt very lousy for a couple of hours with a return of purging. Not sure which prep I will choose next time."

Sutab (magnesium sulfate / potassium chloride / sodium sulfate) "One of the worse experience I've ever had. The stomach cramps were debilitating and expect to get sick. I was sick all night and the day of the colonoscopy. I wouldn't recommend this to anyone"
