"Well, I must admit I was skeptical when my doctor offered this Belviq. I have tried everything under the sun without much success. I figured the first 2 weeks are free, so why not? I lost 7 lbs in 2 weeks, which for me is great! No side effects like the other medicine I tried. I got my next prescription, which I had to pay for. My doctor has to fill out some medical necessity form for my insurance to cover it. Looking forward to losing more weight. Again, no side effects! Wow!"

"A Type 2 Diabetic on Belviq (twice a day) for the last 10 weeks. I used to live to eat and now I eat to live. Belviq has given me full control of what to eat, when to eat, and how much to eat at every meal. Fasting weight this morning was 224.4 lbs, down from 250.8 lbs on 06/13/13, a 26.4 lbs weight loss = 10.5%. I was able to reduce my Humalog 75/25 insulin intake from 100 to 20 units a day, an 80% reduction in insulin use. My blood glucose was also reduced from 164 to about 114 mg/dL. Simply put, my experience on Belviq the last 10 weeks has been nothing short of amazing. I feel blessed that finally there is something that works incredibly well for me where I can manage my type 2 diabetes to a point where I no longer need to take any more daily insulin shots."

"Slimmed down from 5'2, 188 pounds. In seven months dropped 41 pounds. The right combination of diet and exercise makes this easier than it should be. I still eat well, but wise choices seem more appealing than what I used to do. No bored eating or snacking anymore. No female issues, just a little headache."

"I am on my 3rd refill, have lost 57 lbs as of this morning! The only side effect I have had is a little dry mouth. This medicine continues to be magical for me! Went to my doctor for a check-up and prescription renewal. He could not believe my progress! He knew very little about the medicine until I enlightened him. He is now praising it and has prescribed it to 3 new people!"

"I have been on Belviq since Monday. Starting weight was 222 lbs, just weighed in at 214 lbs, lost 8 lbs with only 1 pill a day, exercise 2 times a week. So excited to start next week at 2 pills a day. This really works."

"I have carried around an additional 35 lbs on this 5'3' body for six years with no willpower or cravings control to get it off. Just finished my first full week on Belviq and have lost 3.5 lbs. I lose like a snail so this is impressive. I did have a mild headache for the first three evenings which went away with Advil. Mild dry mouth and definitely felt a bit off-balance but the good news is that my urgent hunger pangs and carb, dessert, and wine cravings are gone! Still enjoy my food but, as others have said, I am perfectly happy to make healthy choices and to eat small portions. I have been able to cut down on my evening wine and have substituted my evening ice cream with herb tea. All of these changes have been painless."

"I have been taking belviq for a day and a half. I feel so dizzy at times. I really hope this goes away. I had a headache, but it went away with advil. I'm hoping and praying that the dizziness will go away with time. On a positive note, I'm not very hungry, I feel full faster. I literally made myself eat at dinner time because I was scared I would get hungry closer to bedtime, and I didn't want to eat late."

"I am 72 and have tried EVERY diet since I was in junior high school. I have been taking Belviq for about 30 days and lost over 10 pounds - 30 pounds to go! This is the only diet pill that doesn't make me edgy and greatly helps with cravings. I used to 'graze' all day but now I don't think about food and snacks when I get bored. It is a great medicine!"

"51-year-old female, 5'2, 207 pounds, and pretty unhealthy. Last resort as I have tried a bunch of options, except for surgery. Now the good, bad, and ugly: I lost 56 pounds, better blood work. Bad: a little tired at first. Overall, a great experience."

"This works great! I tried the 15-day free trial and I lost three pounds. Wow, that is great for me, but here is the sad part: I went to get it filled and found out that my insurer doesn't cover it, and I can't afford it. So best wishes to anyone that tries it. I just wish it didn't cost so much."

"I've been on my 15-day free sample. I can certainly tell a difference in my appetite. Basically, I'm never hungry. But I still have to fight the urge to eat. I now see that I love to eat, so I find myself eating even though I'm 'full.' I'm hoping this will change."

"Began having thyroid issues years ago which in turn caused a progressive weight gain. I do not have heart problems, diabetes (showing some tendencies) or any severe diseases but have become very obese. My endocrinologist suggested Belviq as a way to help me lose weight and regain some energy & mobility and to prevent any development of full blown diabetes. I began back in November and as of yesterday I have lost 19 pounds - this was through Thanksgiving & Christmas. The first two weeks I experienced some dizziness but it was mild. I also have experienced 'very active' dreams nightly but not enough to prevent rest. The weight loss has been wonderful and my clothes are fitting more comfortably. It has been an answer to prayer!"

"I started taking Belviq 4 days ago. I accomplished absolutely nothing over the weekend. I had a consistent headache and lethargy. I've been taking Advil for the headaches and it helps. On day 3, I started experiencing blurry vision. I'm going to ride this out for a couple of weeks because of how well this controls my tendency to overeat. I am in a very high-stress industry and tend to sleep far less than I should. I'm 46, 5'2'', and 184 lbs. I have been a yo-yo all my life. A year ago, I was cross-fitting 6 days a week and 40 lbs lighter. I hurt my shoulder and began overeating once again. So all that to say I am loving how this 'helps' me control that tendency. I just hope the side effects described above subside a little."

"1 month 4 days on Belviq and lost 20 lbs, 195 to 175. Amazing because I have traveled and gone to several parties during this time. I'm strictly following the 'every other day' diet. Belviq makes it much easier to follow. I plan to continue on Belviq until goal, 135, another 40 lbs, then discuss maintenance with my doctor. Good luck to all!"

"I have to give an update here. I have lost about 11% of my body weight since starting Belviq 4 months ago. I am starting to exercise as well. The biggest difference? No more snacks, and I don't feel hungry anymore. I am excited and so happy about my progress. I have shared my excellent results with friends and family. Where has Belviq been for so long? I could have used this 5 years ago!"

"I started the 15-day trial and wow, does it work for me. I lost 5 lbs in the first 5 days and couldn't be happier. It stops the over-obsessing about food, makes you not even hungry. It allows you to eat the way you always wanted to, smaller portions. Sometimes I have to remind myself to eat... Works on me wonderfully. Will be getting the whole supply after my first 15 is over. Good luck all."

"I started using Belviq 10/01/15 and I am down 15 lbs from 256. I have lost the cravings for sweets as well as increased my water intake, 90 oz. I am so excited and feel great. Also, I have enrolled in a fitness boot camp and for the first time, I am not the weakest link."

"Been on Belviq for four months, lost 43.2 pounds. No side effects. Started at 5'10, 243 pounds and now at 200 pounds, 59-year-old guy. Feel great, blood work getting cleaner. Cardio on the way along with fewer carbs. Stopped smoking after six weeks but was a half pack a day, 20-year smoker."

"Today is my 10th day on Belviq. For a few days, I felt dizzy and overly cheerful and chatty. When I didn't feel any symptoms anymore, I figured it wasn't working. I felt that way because I didn't feel jittery or high like some other diet pills would make a person feel. But in 10 days on Belviq, I'm down 12 pounds. I eat what I want for dinner (but a much smaller portion) and am careful about eating only healthy foods for breakfast, lunch, and snacks. A week into starting the pills, the only effect it's having on me is suppressing my appetite, which I think is great! I sometimes have to force myself to eat because I don't feel hungry. This pill doesn't keep me up at night. I honestly sleep better now than I did before the pills. I'm happy with my results so far and will be starting the gym soon. I'm very happy with this medication."

"I began taking Belviq on October 17, 2014 and have been on it for 3 weeks now. I have currently lost 15.5 lbs in 3 weeks. I have had absolutely no negative symptoms and actually had to start halving the pill and only taking it in the morning because taking it twice a day made me not able to eat anything at all. I still have 43 lbs to go for my goal weight. I am hoping to lose another 5 lbs in the next week. I am eating less and what I am eating is healthy foods. I've almost gone on an Atkins diet because I've cut out all sugars and starches without even trying. I also am going to the gym 3 times a week and speed walking on a treadmill. I will begin going more frequently to the gym now as I have shed a few pounds that has motivated me."

"The facts are pretty simple. I lost 34 pounds in six months. Side effects include dry mouth and no cravings. I am a 5'5, 188-pound curvy woman. I feel like I have more energy to chase after my husband and kids. I like Belviq as it gives me power over my food compulsion. I currently have no insurance, but good health is not free."

"Lost 62 pounds in about 8 months, and it's still coming off. No side effects. I'm ecstatic. Note: it took a little over a month before I saw results. Two pills a day (I suggest 30 minutes prior to meals). Get full blood work and cardio first, blood rechecks quarterly. I now feel much fuller with smaller portions. Folks, diet is probably 90% of weight loss! Choose a small subset of low cal, filling foods and stick with those. Rotate when burned out. Egg whites, poultry are a staple for me. Eliminate all breads and sugar! Drink water. On the fence? Remember, obesity kills. Use 'myfitnesspal' app or similar and record everything that goes into your mouth. Bottom line: for me, I'm less of a man than I was months ago - and I'm happy about that!!"

"I started using Belviq 20 days ago. My starting weight was 244, and I am 6 feet tall. Today, I am 222.5. I lost about 22 pounds in 20 days. For those who say it doesn't work, I think you need a miracle pill that will burn your fats while you are in bed because you're such a lazy person. You just want to enjoy food and burn fats. Remember, you gained all these pounds in months and years, so you should expect some willingness and a good workout to lose them. You can't just expect everything to be perfect without moving your ass."
