For Type 2 Diabetes "After having Type 2 for 15 years, my levels became higher, and just taking Metformin didn't help anymore. I added Tradjenta, 5mg, and have been taking it for over a year now. The first side effect is sinus issues and a constant runny nose. So now I have to take Flonase for it. I also developed anxiety for the first time, but it is occasional. I have fibromyalgia and noticed that my joint pain is worse, but I'm not sure if it's from this drug. My liver enzymes became elevated recently, and I'm not sure if it's from this drug or if my NAFLD is worsening. It has helped to stabilize my blood sugar levels, and I consider it to be a success for that. Many reviews here are listing negative reviews after taking this drug for a short time. Do they not know that you need to give a drug a few months before the body responds completely?"

Linagliptin "I suffer from arthritis and have had side effects with Tradjenta. I stopped taking it but was told by the doctor to restart it. I got really bad tendinitis in my arms, legs, hands, and back. It is so bad that I can hardly stand the pain even with now taking meloxicam and diclofenac gel. HELP!"
