"Was on this for months. Two warts on the penis tip cleared very well, but came back as soon as treatment was paused. Other warts on the shaft, foreskin, under the foreskin shrunk in size during treatment but never cleared. The cream caused a lot of burning sensations on the skin and was very uncomfortable. The foreskin became weak and lost some elasticity during treatment, and as a result, broke several times during washing. By contrast, Podophyllotoxin cleared almost all warts in about three weeks (many of them later reappeared though), and while causing some degree of discomfort, it wasn't comparable to Aldara."

"Used Aldara for genital warts, three times a week, and all was well at first. Wart size was beginning to decrease, and after a couple of months, I started burning down there. Looked only to see how swollen and red it was. Not using it again."

"16 years ago I used Aldara for a single wart. I used the cream, and yes, it burned like hell. The cream worked, and I didn’t have anything for 15 years. I thought my immune system had kicked this virus to the curb. Last year, my sister was diagnosed with terminal cancer, and I’m guessing the stress from that weakened my immune system, and bang, I got another wart. I treated this the same way, and it’s been gone now nearly 6 months, but my bottom is itchy a lot I think from where the cream burned my skin. If it ever comes back, I will use a Q-tip and make sure I use minimal and will try to protect my skin nearby."

"About a year and a half ago I went into the doctor for what they called a UTI, that then later was a yeast infection. This went on for months until I couldn't take it. They finally tested me which later was actually chlamydia. Finally, a real diagnosis. During this time my vagina was very swollen and I had a spot that's been there for some time. I thought it was a scar as it had never changed, but during the swollen period this spot seemed bigger. I've asked several doctors about this spot over time. None were worried. The other day I went into the doctor to have it checked, she first told me it was a cyst. Now she says it is genital warts. I went to get a second opinion and they confirmed. I've had diarrhea and some upper respiratory problems."

"Just started with Aldara. I had 8 small, tiny GWs cauterized, now I am clear and no GWs to be noticed. My doctor instructed me to apply Aldara if I think that a new wart is appearing, and I did apply for the first time today. Hopefully, this stuff works well."

"Works fast! You can see changes already in three days after one sachet! I'm amazed by this product! But I suggest once everything is cleared up already, get HPV injected so you're protected!"

"Absolutely ineffective - used for all 4 months, twice over. Overpriced, and most probably, people who are seeing results are getting placebo results as the virus probably went away on its own."

"I thought I would share my experience with this cream. Used for 4 weeks. First 2 weeks, I had heavy discharge and felt a bit uncomfortable. The third week, the redness, headaches, sore throat, and night sweats started. By the end of the 4th week, my vagina was unrecognizable. I had open sores, which had to be swabbed for herpes (negative), so I had to stop using it. I don't think I could continue any longer anyway. I do admit I was using too much by the 4th week as it wasn't working at all, and I was becoming desperate. So stupidly, the bad reaction was my fault. But no cream that has this effect should be put near that area."
