"I was injected with 200 units of hyaluronidase in late January, and it has ruined my life. There is pain throughout my entire face. My chin, my jaws, my cheeks, even my forehead, are constantly in pain. The pain is debilitating, and I'm terrified I will never heal."

"As a longtime systemic sufferer from this awful stuff, I have used all my past year studying science reports on hyalase, which mostly are propaganda. No scientist or surgeon is willing to study negative long-term effects if you get this poison in your bloodstream. Here is my conclusion about what happens: -The Hyalase addressing the filler enters your overall body tissue via the vessels. -The filler starts the dissolving process, which can go on for years. Fillers are hard to dissolve and will always leave traces of particles. -Filler (or particles left) is trying to destroy itself - often in waves/flare-ups. -Since I believe everything in the body is connected, I believe everywhere the hyalase has been in contact with also has the same flare-up destruction when the filler (or leftover particles) again and again tries to self-destruct, hence the overall burning."

"The hyaluronidase completely damaged my face. I had used cheek filler years ago, and there were small lumps left on the right side. The doctor used hyaluronidase injections to dissolve them. A few days later, my eyelid was sagging, then my cheek dropped. After only one week, I had an empty cavity around my right eye, with a hollow cheek, as if this side of my face was pulled down. I suddenly aged! And on only one side. It kept dropping down. A month later, the eyelid dropped completely, affecting my vision. I had to undergo a blepharoplasty surgery. The damage continued, though! Visual impairments, dropping in the muscle, sunken eye... 11 months now, and it’s a nightmare."

"Hyaluronidase destroyed my life. After taking hyaluronidase, my face lost volume and the face changed shape. My eyes felt like they had sunken into the socket, the skin on my face and my body changed and became thin and spongy, and my joints cracked and hurt, and my vision is now bad, and I have lost all my hair."

"Now I'm 1 year in - Hyalase is dangerous. I obviously got this poison in my blood, and it rapidly attacked absolutely everything in my body - from the collagen/connective tissue to the intestines. Still, I have this suspicion that the enzyme might, along the way, have left the system and that the constant feeling of being sick is the continuous swelling and dissolving of the filler in my face. I don't tolerate chemicals well, and however you look at it, the Restylane is fabric made. I suspect the rapidly dissolving filler (which actually is chemical) affects my whole system now. My blood work shows signs of alcohol and tablet abuse. I never touch alcohol and never take painkillers, even though the burning pain in my face and eyes makes me scream sometimes. The continuous poisoning of my body has also now made my thyroid gland malfunction, and the hormone production is declining. Maybe being allergic to chemicals has contributed to severe complications in many of us? Thoughts?"

"Beware, beware! This is an acid that burns down everything it comes in contact with in your body if you get this in your vessels! It burned down my thyroid immediately, and I felt it! The burning in my throat was so bad I thought I had caught COVID! Now I have got hypothyroidism and must take medicine for the rest of my life! If after having hyaluronidase you never felt your throat burn, but feeling very weak and noticing your body sweat is almost gone? Your body mass is changing, and you can't figure out why? Well, guess!"

"The so-called surgeon used more than 1,000 IU in one session to dissolve the remaining filler in lips and nose, which caused immediate and visible change in the appearance of fat on the face. One day after, my face looked saggy and as if I would’ve lost weight overnight. After one week, I looked terrible, my eyes started sinking, all the fat in my left cheek disappeared, I developed under-eye bags and folds in my upper eyelids, and also fine lines around my eyes appeared. It’s been one month, and I don’t see any improvement. To the contrary, I am worried because now my eyes look even more sunken, and they are dry. Fine lines under my eyes look each day worse. Stay away from this product."

"I had fillers in September 2021 (end) for the very first time in my life. The right side looked overfilled/swollen. I keep going back for follow-ups and was told to massage the area. It didn’t help, so in November 2021, the fillers were dissolved. I was assured that there would be no side effects to dissolving the fillers. I’m now left with a dent the size of a large thumbprint under my eye."

"I had the enzyme injected multiple times (i.e., large amounts over many sessions) to help reverse a bad aesthetic outcome. I look much better, and no harm done. Without this treatment option, I would be miserable. So happy to have the awful filler removed."

"I had a vascular occlusion from Voluma in my left cheek. They used hyaluronidase in my cheek. I’m two weeks out. I haven’t seen any facial deterioration. But I’m scared now. Both my doctors told me that there were no side effects of it. I have some bad scars from the necrosis I got from the occlusion. I had no choice. Wondering if I should dissolve the other cheek."

"I had my cheeks dissolved 4 days ago, and so far, so good. I am not experiencing anything that has been described above. No burning, no dry eyes, no overly aggressive volume loss or dents. I feel the dissolver did what it was supposed to do. I had a large amount of Juvéderm Voluma in my cheeks for over 2 years that had started to harden and look very odd when I smiled. Getting them dissolved was the best thing I have done. I look like myself again. It was done by a board-certified PS, 75 units in each cheek diluted with lidocaine. I’m very happy with the results."

"I had hyaluronidase injected a few weeks after some filler migration above my lip. I had no prior filler in the area, so it should have returned to the way it was just a few weeks prior. It dissolved my own natural hyaluronic acid, leaving a trench above my lip that looks like a sunken mustache. Although the hyaluronidase was not injected into my lips, it seeped down and removed my natural fullness (I have photos from before filler), leaving my lips and skin crepey and saggy. It has been a nightmare!"

"Wish I could post my before and after. In TN, there are no doctors to consult about non-surgical procedures. A doctor in SC told me not to have Voluma, but I didn't listen. The bullying I've endured by men and women in the US caused me to be insecure and strict with my face. A small asymmetry is normal. An injector did one syringe of Voluma on my cheeks, and I already had big cheekbones, I looked horrible. I had $4,250 of hylenex by a nurse, and my left under-eye is sunken now with a deep dent, it's no longer soft and smooth with my natural fat as it was. It's been 19 months since then, and the Voluma was dissolved from my left cheek, but not from my right one completely, or I can't tell what's going on. My right cheek looks puffy, my temple looks puffy all of a sudden, and my skin on my left side is no longer plump. I take collagen pills and have raw milk, which helps my skin, so it's not aged, but I don't see my natural HA coming back. My right side is smooth and even puffy, my left is thin."

"I had hyaluronidase a week ago. Worse experience of my life. On the left side of my face, I have hollowing of the eye. On the right side, it is puffy and sticks out very badly. Plus, I have bruising and pain. I immediately knew after 3 days the procedure was done incorrectly. The company is supposed to have 14 years of experience. I had to reach out to another company who came out of hours to look, they said it'd been done incorrectly. I'm going there Friday to correct the work done the week before. I now have to start the process again. It's caused anxiety and also pain in other areas. I will never have fillers again for this to happen, disturbing all the young people and filling their faces, they will regret it over the next few years. As they age, skin stretches and gets loose. I will never put myself through that again. No to fillers. They are not safe, I now have to live with the damage."

"I just wanted to add my experience. After reading all of the reviews, I was absolutely petrified of getting my horrible lip filler dissolved. I ended up doing it, and I am so happy with the results, no pain at all, and my lips are back to normal. It was the best choice for me, and I’m so glad I went through with it despite reading all the reviews. Don’t let the horrible experiences scare you away, there are negative side effects for everything, it doesn’t mean it will happen to you."

"Correction on my review - Hyaluronidase was NOT taken for 1 to 2 years, as it states on top of my review. It has been a year SINCE I was damaged by hyaluronidase."

"This is a good product. Your skin will look different after the filler is dissolved because you’re so used to seeing it filled. This injection is lifesaving."
