For Asthma, Maintenance "Advair is the best. I've had a horrible chronic cough for several years. No one could figure out why. Finally someone said asthma and gave me Advair and the cough is almost totally gone. Blessings to the company that makes it. No side effects either."

For Asthma, Maintenance "I used Advair, back in 2001 & 2002, and then weanes off, and relied on Albuterol up until this year again, until it was too frequent. So, then Flovent, (hated the side effects); so was approved finally for Advair 250/50 twice a day. RE: Thrush I am always rinsing/swishing thoroughly after each use with water, and gargling! 4-5x really not a big deal. Also, use a pH balanced mouthwash called: **Smart Mouth Clinical DDS ** NEVER had thrush issues! If/when I have had any vocal rasp, it it temporary, and goes away within a short time. Hope this helps someone! I am so active, and while corticosteroids have their flaws, it has given me back my freedom :)"

"I've had taken Advair for asthma. I have to say it has been a blessing. You must drink a glass of water when taking your dosage "not Juice" juice will upset your stomach . plus the nasty feeling in your mouth will go away and it will do the job even quicker. So I give Advair 5 stars, just remember to follow your dosage with water otherwise yucky yucky taste and upset stomach."

For COPD, Maintenance "The preliminary diagnosis is COPD pending approval from a pulmonologist. I have been taking this medication for 6 weeks. It is making me tired, lethargic, light-headed, and gaining weight. Feel good in the morning until inhaling the first dose of the day. After 6 weeks there is no improvement. Plan to stop this medication very shortly. I need my energy back and do not want to fight weight gain."

For Asthma, Maintenance "I used Advair for 15 years after being diagnosed with adult asthma. 250/50 is what I was prescribed. I went from wheezing, tightness in my chest, etc. to perfect normal breathing every day no matter what allergies were doing or whatever activities I was doing. Advair, in my opinion, is the best medication out there. Of course, everyone can have different side effects and react differently to meds."

For COPD, Maintenance "Just started this inhaler, Dr. only put me on it for a week. Then she will change me to another type with no powder. But I love the way I can breathe now. Its amazing to me, I CAN BREATHE."
