For Birth Control "I have been on Tri-Linyah two separate times, and both times I had very bad results. Everyone is different, but for me it gave me breakouts, headaches, nausea, cramps, breasts are super tender, my periods are super painful, and my anxiety and depression have gotten so much worse over the past two months I’ve been back on this pill. It seems like I’m having an anxiety attack almost every night, and I can’t live like this anymore. I’m calling my doctor tomorrow to get it switched to something different. I hope y’all had a better experience than I did. Never going back to this pill ever again!!"

For Endometriosis "I was extremely nervous to start this Tri-Linyah, but now I have to admit it was the best decision EVER. I love it. I have been taking the pill for almost 5 months now. I have not gained any weight, I can tell when my period is going to start, down to the hour. I used to have extremely irregular cycles and horrible cramps, but now all of that has been fixed. My sex drive is amazing, and my mood is the same as it usually is. Everyone is different, but if you’re as nervous as I was, you should definitely give it a try. It might or might not work for you, but trust me when I say it has worked wonders."

"I was on so many different birth control pills due to heavy periods and cramps. My doctor told me at 14 I shouldn't be having pains like this. Stopped taking pills for 1 year. At 19 I got pregnant and had a miscarriage. I was so upset due to what happened and went to my doctor and told him to put me on this pill. It has been the best pill yet: no acne, no cramps, shorter periods, and no pregnancy!!! The only thing that happened is I gained like 15 lbs, and I am not happy about that! But then again, you can't have everything! I suggest this pill to every woman there is!"

For Birth Control "I moved to a new city and a new pharmacy. They switched my birth control from Norgestimate to this Tri-Linyah. Literally, after 3 days of taking it, I had all the symptoms I get with my period! Sore breasts, horrible, and I mean horrible cramps, and HORRIBLE mood swings! Not to mention the constant overheating! I called the pharmacy to switch it back by the 7th day."

For Birth Control "I've taken this pill for 3 years. No pregnancies, but 30 pounds of weight gain and insane mood swings. The only reason I'm still on it is because it makes my period incredibly regular, unlike other pills I've tried, but not any lighter and still some occasional cramping. I'm thinking of changing at my yearly appointment or going off of birth control entirely, but I really need to weigh my options. Pills are different for everyone, and I would still recommend it."

For Acne "I have been taking Tri-Linyah for a year now. When I first started the pill, I threw up the first few days (which is to be expected), and the following few months, I had terrible acne. I knew that it would take around six months for my body to adjust, so I gave it time, and I’m so glad I did. The acne slowly became less and less, and now it’s very rare that I ever have a breakout. It keeps my skin under control very well. Also, my period is much more bearable, and I know the exact day that it comes now. My only complaint is that I still have very awful cramps the first and second day of my period. But it’s controlled everything else, and I haven’t gotten pregnant! So it’s a win in my book. Don’t give up on it :)"

For Abnormal Uterine Bleeding "I've switched between different generic versions of Ortho Tri-Cyclen, and this is not my favorite. I have terrible cystic acne, and it did help a lot with that. But it did nothing at all for my periods. My periods without birth control caused me to be in a haze, nausea, vomiting, terrible cramping, and heavy bleeding. With Tri-Linyah, it was mostly the same! The other generic pills I tried at least eased my periods so that they were bearable. On Tri-Linyah, I also didn't know what to expect, some periods would be longer, start at different times, or be lighter/heavier. I'm not sure how different generic medications of the same type can really be, but I noticed this one was definitely different."

For Birth Control "I've been taking this contraceptive for about a year now, and I LOVE it. My periods are still the same length (about a week), but they're so much lighter. Before Tri-Linyah, I had the worst period pains, and now my periods are a breeze. As far as mood swings, I don't see a change in my moods other than usual. Also, I haven't gained several pounds because of it. Plus, NO BABIES! Keep in mind it does have different effects on different people."
