"I’ve been taking it so far for about 4 months, and it’s been doing really good for regulating my periods and making my cramps less painful. I have started to get really bad cystic acne, though, that progressively gets worse as time goes by ever since I’ve been on it, which is kind of weird because, if anything, it should be doing the opposite."

"For acne, it clears it up. It’s great for everything else, like preventing pregnancy and regulating your period. The only downside to this stuff is that it thinned out my perineum, so sex was painful in certain positions, but I’m still looking for a better pill to keep my period regulated."

"I've been on birth control pills since I was 16 (I'm 22 now), so I'm pretty versed and have tried many brands. For the past few years, I've been taking Tri-Sprintec and loved it... but for whatever reason, it was switched to Tri-Linyah, and I'm only 10 days in and have been super agitated and on edge. I have anxiety already, but have had good control on it, and anxiety attacks/abnormal anxiousness have been few and far between. But ever since starting this brand, I am easily triggered, even beyond my normal anxiety triggers. I've also had a marked increase in my HR and have had chest tightness and felt like I couldn't take a deep breath or oxygen just wasn't getting into my lungs. I'm a nursing student, so my life is high stress, but it has been even more so the past 10 days. I literally was full body shaking and went into a panic attack while feeding a patient. I'm definitely switching back to my old brand because this is crazy."

"I've been taking this contraceptive for about a year now, and I LOVE it. My periods are still the same length (about a week), but they're so much lighter. Before Tri-Linyah, I had the worst period pains, and now my periods are a breeze. As far as mood swings, I don't see a change in my moods other than usual. Also, I haven't gained several pounds because of it. Plus, NO BABIES! Keep in mind it does have different effects on different people."

"I started on a Sunday night around 11 p.m. before bed. I woke up Monday morning with little heart palpitations every so often. Thought it was normal because I just stopped drinking soda and thought I was having bad withdrawals. Kept on the pill 'til Wednesday and didn’t take it that night because my heart palpitations got so bad. I also started getting way overemotional for little things, and my anxiety was skyrocketing. Called my doctor Thursday and told them about my heart palpitations, and they just prescribed me another pill, no big deal, I guess. I am obese but have never had heart palpitations for this long and often, only when I have too much caffeine. I had to force myself to eat because I didn’t have an appetite anymore. I took my blood sugar and it was normal, took my pulse and it was normal. I didn’t know what was going on. Later on Thursday night, I took my blood pressure and it was sky-high (heart palpitations)! Never had a problem before. Never again with Tri-Linyah."

"Everything was fine for about a year on Tri-Linyah. I switched from another brand that made me gain about 20 pounds, the weight came off within a month of starting this new pill. Then last month I started getting extremely bad stomach aches, nausea, and bloating. As soon as I started taking the placebo pills during my period week, all the symptoms went away. They started again this month and have been just as bad. I also get extremely anxious at night and have sad thoughts. It does do a great job of regulating my periods and has the timing down to the hour."

"I've been on this pill for about 5 months. I've been experiencing nausea, vomiting, bad pains in my right leg, and my breasts have gotten bigger, and I'm spotting more but bleeding less during my period. But, on the bright side, my period cramps have gotten better."

"I've been on different birth controls for 6 years. Always on a low dose, and I will say I've always had accuracy with all. After getting tests done, even at 15, I've been told I'm extremely fertile. Not once did I get pregnant until at 17, I stopped for a while, and I had a miscarriage. But not once taking the pill. Every month almost I become paranoid it will fail, but has yet to. I take the pill around the same hour almost every day, and if I miss one, I double up. I get nauseous for days after, so I assume it could be pregnancy. This makes me use the internet that entire month looking at pregnancy signs and reading scary reviews about women saying birth control failed them. I believe that is only because they haven't been taking it right."

"Every day since I started the white pills, I've had a headache. I started the blue pills today, and my headache turned into a migraine."

"I've been taking this birth control, Tri-Linyah, for about a year, and it's completely cleared up my acne, and I used to get severe cramps, and I have not gotten them at all since. The only downside is I have awful mood swings, and my emotions have been up a wall. I also have had yeast infections from this, and I've experienced two-week periods multiple times. I'd say it's worth it for the most part, though."
