For Birth Control "Just finished a pack and starting the second pack. Sadly, I will stop taking the second pack. Each pill made me so nauseous hours after I take it and it gave me digestion issues. My stomach felt so funky and I felt the food coming back up every night when I sleep. Also, super bloated everyday due to the stomach problems. I think the estrogen (0.035mg) is too high and messing with my stomach. I used to be on 0.02mg of estrogen dosage and I didn’t have any issues with it."

For Birth Control "I was on this Tri-Estarylla pill for 11 months until I gave up on it. The period regulation worked, I had mild cramps and not super heavy bleeding. The side effects have made life miserable. I have mild anxiety and this medication made me have panic attacks over the stupidest things that I never would have worried about before. It made me feel numb and detached and it completely ruined my libido. I don't recommend this pill, I was switched unwillingly from Tri-Linya (which I loved) to this."

For Birth Control "Was on this for two and a half weeks. I became an absolute emotional wreck. Also, I bled very heavy for two weeks straight. I ended up having to go the ER for this week. Became very light headed. Never experienced this before and will never take this again."

For Birth Control "I've been on this medication for about two weeks. Since starting, I've had very increased anxiety, a dull headache every day in my temples, and restless sleep/resulting extreme fatigue. The medication has not had any impact on my very moderate acne. I have noticed some water retention/bloating as well. I'm going to finish the month out, but the side effects I've experienced so far are not at all worth continuing to take this. I am so tired on a daily basis that I can barely function, due to the inability to sleep soundly, even when taking a sleep aid."

For Birth Control "I have to say the pro to this birth control is that I do not find myself overly emotional or unable to control my emotions. I have been on other pills that caused me to be nauseous the entire first week of the pack to the point where I would throw up but thankfully this one did not have that same effect. A major con to this brand of birth control is my lack of libido and inability to get wet during intercourse. I went off birth control for 1 year and all of these problems went away but decided to go back on for the sole purpose of birth control. Of course you won’t be having babies if your body can’t create that desire anymore."

For Acne "I've been on this birth control for my acne. And my experience has been really bad. Within the first couple days my forehead has broken out terribly there's a ton of little bumps a crossed it. I usually never get pimples on my forehead. I started also breaking out around my mouth. I hardly get acne there maybe a little. My jaw breaks out really bad. This gave me major anxiety to be in public. I hate going out on dates Bc of my face. Although my face looks terrible it kinda helped clear up my shoulders and chest. It definitely made my chest break out more but slowly cleared up. But , my face being so bad I am now switching to the big guns of acne control. Can't wait to see those results."

For Birth Control "Switched from generic form of Junel 1/20 (was on it for 6 months). I've been on Tri-Estarylla for about 2 months now. So far no significant side effects besides bloating and weight gain (that could be a new relationship though lol). Junel 1/20 gave me intense side effects such as acne/rash, depression, mood swings, loss of sex drive, bloating 24/7, and breakthrough bleeding for 2 out of 4 weeks a month. With Tri-Estarylla my period is heavier though and lasts 4 days mid placebo pills with cramps starting the last week of active pills all the way through the end of placebo week. Haven't seen much improvement in acne but I haven't been on it for too long to see that. My sex drive has improved and I haven't had any breakthrough bleeding or mood swings. My discharge is much heavier/thicker but it's white and not dark brown like with my last birth control. No pregnancy scares and this is the only form of birth control my partner and I use."

For Birth Control "So I’m not one to write a review about medicine or anything really but I had to share this. I started this medication in May and before I started it I had FLAWLESS skin, I never ever broke out. As soon as I began taking it, I broke out with cysts. I continued to take it in hopes of my body will regulate to it. Nope, I was left with cystic acne all over my cheeks, to make matters worse I had my wedding in a few months. I was getting about 5 painful cysts a week on this birth control. I have been off of this medication and my skin cleared up. I payed a lot of money and many trips to the derm to finally make my skin look normal. I wouldn’t recommend, everyone’s skin is different but I had a HORRIBLE experience."

For Birth Control "I have anxiety and OCD and the past two birth controls I tried had made my mental health worse, so I specifically asked my OBGYN for a birth control that wouldn’t affect me in that way. Tri lo Estarylla has been great so far. I have noticed that my anxiety amps up before my period but I’ve always dealt with that due to PMS. This has been the first birth control that I do not want to stop taking and it has kept me feeling normal. I do experience cramps still while using this but ibuprofen makes them disappear instantly."

For Birth Control "I get my pills delivered through a company called Nurx. For 3 years they have been sending me Tri Sprintec, which is the same pill brand I was taking prior to that service —I loved it. Been on it for at least 5 years. Never had an issue, then all of a sudden they started sending me this kind. And guess what? I missed my period and just found out I’m pregnant. I’m very good at taking my pills at the same time each day and I’ve managed to get through 33 years of life without a single pregnancy scare. Something isn’t right and if you don’t want to get pregnant, I recommend you avoid this generic option. I only took this for 1 month as the switch just happened and it failed. BIG TIME."

For Birth Control "I was originally on a Lupin brand under the name norgestimate and ethinyl estradiol. I got my prescription from Walgreens pharmacy but they were not partnered with that manufacturer so I was put on Tri-Estarylla. I had terrible anxiety and bloating all the time. I gained 10 lbs within those two months and I just don’t feel like myself. I will stop this and try another brand. Birth control affects everyone differently and you may find this brand might be good for you."

For Acne "I've only been using it for a month but it's been very interesting. I've also never taken birth control before but decided to when my period pain, PMS, and irregular cycles got out of hand. Taking this medication has actually put me in a better mood and increased my libido. I do feel pretty fatigued from the initial start though."

For Birth Control "Nurx switch me from Tri Lo Sprintec to this Tri-Estarylla. Now 5 months in and each month I sink deeper into low energy and constantly hungry. I know to take vitamin D and B to help fend off side effects but this pill is winning. Now I'm noticing the depression, having fits of irritability, and I ache all the time. I'm 36 and last time I went through this mood I was on another generic about 10 years ago. Generics changing the "inactive" ingredients are just as important as the hormones."

For Birth Control "These Tri-Estarylla are terrible birth control pills. I had to switch to these because my insurance changed and covered them and not my old ones. Within a year I gained 15 pounds, I look bloated and not like myself. I haven’t changed my diet or lifestyle in any way. I’ve also been suffering crippling anxiety. Just got off them 2 weeks ago and feel so much better. Beware of this one!!!! I regret ever getting on them without prior research."

For Birth Control "I was on this birth control after trying several different ones. I wanted something to not make me gain weight and just protect me from pregnancy. On the placebo pills, I did have somewhat cramping and I continued to spot after a few days starting on the new pack of active pills which I did not like. Other than that, this is a great birth control."

For Birth Control "I've been on it for about 6 months. I had bad mood swings during the first week and a half but after that it definitely helped me balance out my emotions and my weight. I had to get off of it for two weeks bc I ran out but after getting off I felt terrible. I lost weight and my appetite but I'm back on it and again I'm a week and a half in and I don't feel nearly as bad as I did when i first started. I feel so much better but what works for me might not work for you"

For Birth Control "After being off birth control for 2 years I decided to go back on the pill. I used to take ortho tricyclen lo and I loved the packaging for this BC and my side affects were minimal and after I saw it was discontinued I was upset. I got prescribed Estarylla as a generic version and it’s horrible my side effects are MOOD SWINGS, FATIGUE & SPOTTING THAT LEADS TO LEGIT BLEEDING FOR 2 weeks... nope never again. Finally after 2 months I’m switching"

For Birth Control "I took this pill for 3 months because the pill club switched me to it. The first month was fine nothing that I can think off had changed. But the second month, 2-4 days before my period I got very bad anxiety and depression to the point I was having muscles spasms in my body. I couldn’t sleep and cried all the time. I didn’t know what was happening. After my period it slowly started getting better. Then the third month same thing, 2-4 days before my period bad anxiety and depression. I stopped taking it right away when I saw all the reviews of others experiencing the same as me."

For Birth Control "I only took this medication for two weeks before it drove me so crazy I had to get off of it. It was my first ever birth control and within four days I was already exhausted, breaking out like CRAZY, experiencing bad cramping, and my depressive symptoms that I had been doing well with for months came back full force. My boyfriend thought I was having a breakdown, I was so emotional and moody. I had ZERO motivation to do anything and no attention span. Definitely not worth it. Do a different generic or a brand name."

For Birth Control "I switched from my old birth control to a new one because my body got used to the pill. I got stuck on this one & after reading reviews I was so scared. I thought I was going to get pregnant within the first week, and cry 24/7 and be in pain. It wasn't like that at all. The first two weeks - month were the hardest. I had breast aches that hurt pretty bad (only lasted a week) & I had a couple days of headaches. My cramps are really bad on the pill but I'm on naproxen to help with those. My period still cames & it was a normal flow. All is good so far, just over 2 months in & as long as you’re taking them correctly and don't miss a pill, you have nothing to worry about. Oh! I was also nervous about acne because I never really break out bad. My acne is still normal but I haven't gotten cystic acne or anything from this pill! The only bad sides I would say are: cramping, breast pain (only when you start the pill) and I cry more often (more sensitive)"

For Birth Control "I haven't had any problems on this birth control. I have gained weight but I don't know if that is related to the birth control since they usually change them up depending on pharmacies but lately it has been Tri Estrella. I've never had any mood swings or loss of sex drive from this! I've also never had any abnormal bleeding."

For Birth Control "First the positives. I had great skin while taking this. Usually, I get a zit or two either before or during my period, but I did not have that while on this. Also, it really mitigated my PMS, which is saying a lot because I've been diagnosed with PMDD. On the other hand, my libido was essentially nonexistent unless I was on my period, which (surprise) is when you're not taking the pill for seven days. I had very little desire for sex while taking this, and I honestly believed at various points that I was asexual."

For Birth Control "I’ve had a great experience! I was previously on Junel FE, however it made my anxiety a lot worse to the point where I couldn’t eat regularly. This one is much better and my mood has improved. The only side effect is that it did cause me nausea when I first started."

For Birth Control "My gyno put in a Ortho Tri Cyclen prescription for me at CVS and they gave me Tri-Estarylla instead. Fine. Ive taken Ortho Tri-Cylen Lo, Ortho Tri-Cyclen, Trinessa and Tri-Sprintec and had no issues for adult acne. I took it for about a week and a half and it was AWFUL. The first week it was OK, but the second week...all hell broke loose. I do struggle with anxiety which does rear its ugly head now and again, but this was bad. Really, really bad. I went through a very rough patch at the beginning of 2016 with bad insomnia and rumination. Last week, it came back--mood swings, crying emotional outbursts, little sleep, rumination, etc. I stopped taking it and now feel normal."
