For Abnormal Uterine Bleeding "I had talked to my doctor about going on a pill for the heavy periods I've been getting. After talking about all the different kinds of birth control, she put me on this one. The first month wasn't too bad except for the fact that I was overwhelmed all the time and really emotional. My first month, I actually lost weight, but my acne got worse. As instructed, I skipped my placebo pills for the first pack and started my second. Two days into my second pack, I started my period, but it was very light compared to what I've had in the past. Here it is, 10 days later, and I'm still bleeding. I'm going to stop this pill and go get the IUD next week. I wouldn't recommend this pill."

For Birth Control "Wow, this pill is nearly useless. I started it because I have endometriosis and the cramps are unbearable. I've been on it for 4 months now. The first 2 months, I had 4 periods. That is one week out of each month without a period. The last 2 months, I've been on a period this entire time. Daily bleeding. The amount of money I have spent on feminine products since I started this pill is outrageous. Don't get me started on the way my pH balance has reacted either. My doctor had to prescribe me a prescription strength bacteria pill to take for 10 days and a prescription strength yeast infection pill for 8 days. Helped for only 2 weeks, and now the problems are reoccurring again. Will not refill my next prescription."

"I absolutely hate this pill, but I was given it for hormone replacement. It gave me the worst acne, mood swings, and cramps. I was bleeding for 1 whole month throughout the whole pack. It did nothing good for me. I did 3 months on this pill and ended up going back to my old birth control pill. The mood swings were bad. I'd cry over everything."

For Abnormal Uterine Bleeding "I am having too much unpredictable bleeding on this pill. I am switching to IUD. I truly hope this works because I have had about enough!"

For Birth Control "Horrible! Do not take this pill. I have been bleeding for 2 weeks, gained 4 pounds, and I'm only on my second pack. There is better birth control out there. This one isn't one of them."

For Abnormal Uterine Bleeding "UPDATE!!! I stopped the pill, and the bleeding continued heavily and clotting. I notified my doctor. I will see what she recommends. Until then, I’m staying on the pill."

For Abnormal Uterine Bleeding "I'm currently starting my second pack, so I can't give a long-term review of Mononessa, but I still have some pretty important feedback. I'm personally taking Mononessa for contraception, but mostly for my very irregular and heavy periods. Within the second, almost third week, I started bleeding dark brown blood, but only a small amount. As the week went by, it got heavier and red. I am currently still bleeding, and it's been 2 weeks, which is frustrating since my periods usually last 2 to 3 days. What is really nice about this pill is that my body hair has stopped growing, or at least grows very, very, very slowly. It's not spectacular so far, but I'll have to leave a review in 6 months to log some more long-term progress."
