For Birth Control "I started taking Femynor in July of 2019 because CVS switched me from Estarylla. It has been terrible. Not even before the end of my first pill pack, I had intermittent bleeding and what felt like menstrual cramps throughout the active pills. Then in August, I started my next pack after my period, and before the second week of active pills, I had intermittent bleeding AGAIN. By this point, I'm thinking something is seriously wrong because I never had this issue with Estarylla since 2015. I decided to take a leap of faith and continue the pill pack into September, and it does not get any better. Still bleeding right now as I am writing this review. I have had night sweats, stomach aches, extreme fatigue, lack of motivation, terrible mood swings, constant cramps, and headaches, to name a few. I reached out to my doctor, who told me that the intermittent bleeding was normal, but I had enough once I had the worst anxiety attack of my life. I'm done with Femynor."

For Birth Control "This was my first birth control, and I really did not notice any side effects up until recently, and I've been taking it for almost four years. No weight gain, and my acne cleared up a little bit, but I always broke out right before my period. I have always had depression and anxiety, but it only seemed to get worse the longer I was on this. I recently stopped because the mood swings and irritability were out of control. I always knew exactly what day my period was going to start, which was great, but day one cramps were the worst. I didn't mind this birth control and never got pregnant, so it really depends on the person."

For Birth Control "I was on TriNessa for years with short, 3-day periods, zero cramps or PMS symptoms other than a tiny bit moody. My doctor prescribed Tri-Estarylla as the replacement, and I saw zero difference. Then, the pharmacy kept automatically refilling with Tri-Femynor. For the first time in 15 years, I had cramps and stomach aches, and my period was so, so heavy, like a 14-year-old! It also lasted a full week...no! The pharmacy insists Tri-Estarylla and Tri-Femynor are exactly the same, and I insist they are NOT. The pharmacist says Tri-Estarylla always gets replaced with Tri-Femynor by distributors, and there is no way to override that, and there’s nothing they can do. So every 90 days, I have to pick up my pills early so I can immediately give them back and have them manually order Tri-Estarylla and wait for it to come in. Luckily, my doctor writes me a 90-day prescription. TL;DR Tri-Femynor is NOT THE SAME as Tri-Estarylla, no matter what they say. Tri-Femynor is TRASH."

For Birth Control "Femynor was my first ever birth control, and from reading the reviews, I was nervous to take it. My first period I had with it was really heavy, and I had really strong cramps. Every other period I've had, though, has been extremely light, and I don't have any cramping. One side effect I did experience is that my boobs grew so much, they were sore for probably about 3 weeks. Now I have dark purple stretch marks on them, which I wish I didn't. As for the birth control aspect, it works great, I always have unprotected sex with my boyfriend, and we have never had a problem. I understand everyone's experiences are different, and it can be scary seeing all the mixed reviews, but this pill really works for me."

For Birth Control "In the beginning, I had cystic acne on my forehead that lasted about a month and major mood swings that lasted probably 6 months. But now I’ve been on it for almost 2 years and haven’t noticed any negative side effects. It’s just part of my everyday routine in taking it, and it’s been fine! No breakouts, no cramps, and no nausea, but everyone’s body reacts differently!"

For Birth Control "I started Femynor back in college. Initially, I had painful cramps and nausea for numerous days. Eventually, these side effects cleared, and I continued with the medication for 5 years. For those 5 years, my acne had cleared, but I developed anxiety and suffered from dreadful cramps and mood swings during/leading up to my period. I am currently switching birth control pills, after a while, I started developing frequent hormonal acne, which I’ve rarely ever had growing up."

For Birth Control "I cannot sing the praises of Femynor birth control enough. No weight gain, mood swings were minimal the first few months. I went on Femynor to fix my hormonal acne about 7-8 months ago, and it WORKED. No matter what I tried, nothing worked for my acne, and this did. The doctor told me I'd see results in 6 months, and my skin started clearing in 2. Now it's almost perfect, rarely a breakout, besides some blackheads, which are way better than a face of whitehead breakouts. The only issue I've had is my cramps have been worse some months, and my period has started early a few times and lasts a lot longer than it used to. Which if that's the only thing I deal with, I'm still over the moon about this birth control. Recommend it to anyone with bad acne."

For Birth Control "It is great for my acne. Horrible for my sex life. I have no sex drive anymore. Some cramping occasionally, and when I first started, I had nausea, but that went away. And I haven’t gotten pregnant, so I guess it’s working."

For Birth Control "Been on Femynor for 2.5 months, it's been fairly good besides the occasional nausea, spotting for the last month, and cramping. But not spotting enough to wear a panty liner. Only seen occasionally when I wipe, but figure my body is still adjusting to a higher dose since I switched from Lo Loestrin Fe (the lowest available option). Other than that, no mood swings, depression, or weight gain. Plus, my acne has cleared up. Personally, I feel the side effects are normal for the first couple of months and not bad enough to switch brands."

For Birth Control "I’ve been on this pill for about a year now. I’ve always had great skin and only minor breakouts, but after a few months of taking this birth control, I’ve developed cystic acne. I tried numerous cleansers and treatments and found them all ineffective. I finally went to my dermatologist, and he said to immediately switch brands. My period is the same as when I wasn’t on birth control, not any shorter and still get cramps. I don’t think there’s a positive thing I can say about it."

For Birth Control "Honestly, it’s been a mixed bag while on Femynor. I’ve been on it for almost a year, but overall, nothing too bad. I’ve been through other forms and have found this one the best. It’s kind of stupid how it reads on the back instead of the front of the packaging, but overall, the symptoms haven’t been too rough. I get cramping just like anyone else on/near their period. I have had breakthrough bleeding some months and other absolutely nothing. I did have to ask to up the dosage, though, because of breakthrough bleeding."

For Birth Control "This birth control is great. My periods always have been super irregular, but once I started this pill, it has been on point. My first period while on the pill was horrible, I got to thinking that this is my body still getting used to the pill. I had the worst cramps I have felt in my life and really heavy bleeding, but after that, my periods have been normal. Only a week long. No weight gain or anything dramatic. I truly am thankful for this pill."

For Birth Control "Femynor was probably the 3rd birth control I’ve been on, and I'm not crazy about it. I’ve been taking it for two years now, and I'm about to switch just because there are definitely better pills out there. Before birth control, I'd have the lightest period and extremely light bleeding, but this pill caused me to have the worst cramping of my life, to the point where I'd be nauseous and throw up. Pretty heavy period (I'd fill a super in an hour). Mood swings were definitely a thing, and I’d be a total bitch, and rage would just fill my body for no reason at all a week before my period started. Made me very, very emotional, lol. It’s definitely great for avoiding pregnancy, but that’s about it. I didn’t gain any weight from it, but I am bloated all the time, but idk if it’s the pill or IBS, lol."

For Birth Control "Started this birth control 8 months ago, this is my first and knew some things to expect. I almost immediately felt period cramps after starting it and would feel them on and off for basically the whole month, getting worse closer to my period. Honestly, didn’t bother me that much but could be a personal thing. I definitely experienced emotional problems, but it fizzled out after 3-4 months. About 2 months after starting, my anxiety worsened, and for the past 5 months I’ve woken up in the middle of the night at least 2 days in a row every month with what feels like an anxiety attack that always results in 2 hours of violent puking. It’s the same every time and feels like episodes of constant anxiety and has lasted 5 days before. This is why I made an appointment to switch."

For Birth Control "I’ve tried Femynor pills for over 2 months now after being diagnosed with polycystic ovaries 2 months ago. My symptoms are blackheads, acne, facial hair, and hair in places I have never had before. My period was absolutely ridiculous, I would never know when it could come, sometimes within 2 weeks, or maybe 90 days after. Being sexually active is a huge problem, and also, I have cramps 24/7. They didn’t even let me stand up. Also, my period would last like 7 to 14 days, with abundant bleeding. I had to actually sleep with a plastic bag (lol) like a panty to prevent the blood from staining my bed, it was really bad. I searched all my symptoms online, and I saw that it could be that, so I finally went to a gynecologist. She sent me these pills, which honestly I guess worked, but did not get rid of my side effects of polycystic ovaries (acne, excess hair). It just regulated my period and how much I bleed, but my acne is still horrible, and so is my excess hair."
