Sprintec (ethinyl estradiol / norgestimate) for Birth Control "I have had a great experience with sprintec actually. I have been using this for about a year and have not felt the side effects I used to feel with other birth control pills. My mood is pretty regulated, I never got sore breasts, my appetite was normal throughout and I have not felt nauseous once. I haven't gotten pregnant either so I will continue use for as long as it's available and working in harmony with my body. 10/10"

Sprintec (ethinyl estradiol / norgestimate) for Birth Control "It hasn't made me sick or caused acne. I went to the doctors twice from urinary tract infection since I've been on it. I've been taking it for a month now and my mood has changed severely. I have no interest in sex at all, I get dry and I have no intention of wanting to do it. I feel stressed and depressed and I've never been like that. I feel bad for my boyfriend and its been ruining our love life. I'm calling my doctor to switch as soon as she is available. When they say birth control doesn't affect your mood, they are wrong! Read the other reviews."

Tri-Lo-Mili (ethinyl estradiol / norgestimate) for Birth Control "I’ve been on Tri-Lo-Mili for over a year it’s my first birth control. I’m switching to a more permanent form of birth control for conveniency reasons. But this birth control has been nothing but great. I am highly sexually active with one partner and do not use other forms of contraceptive. I’ve gotten my period every month on time for the past year. I’m the same as I was before taking it and I would 100% recommend it to others. I was extremely emotional at first just sensitive to yelling and conflict, the idea of an animal in harm had me sobbing but that faded away after about six months. But in my experience it’s definitely done it’s job at preventing pregnancy considering I use it on its own. And with minimal to no side effects. Everyone is different but I would recommend :)"

Sprintec (ethinyl estradiol / norgestimate) for Abnormal Uterine Bleeding "This pill worked perfect for me for the first month. Now it’s nothing up bleeding constantly and I’ve been on it for about 6 months. So basically 5 months of bleeding because of this pill and blood during intercourse when I get a day break from the bleeding. DO NOT RECOMMEND!"

Sprintec (ethinyl estradiol / norgestimate) for Birth Control "Got on Sprintec in 2018 and it was great for 6 months. My breast got bigger I am a C cup and I went into double D’s. But I got tired of the periods once a month so I went and got an IUD (liletta) my cup size went back to normal had the IUD for 6 months and got it removed because it felt weird not having a period, I just felt off without it. Now I’m back on Sprintec and I’m having the same thing occur with my breasts. I enjoy having the bigger boobs it’s just the soreness on the sides that comes with it. I did feel nausea every single day. Sprintec is a really good birth control, you don’t get pregnant and you’re basically in control of it. Everyone’s body is completely different, so just because you read one review that gives a negative saying shows how it reacted to their bodies. Go talk to your doctor or nurse about it before choosing. It took me about 4 months to decide and do my research before I decided on getting something life long term until I’m ready to have kids."

Femynor (ethinyl estradiol / norgestimate) for Birth Control "I’m on the 2nd month of taking Femnyor. I had nausea & headaches the first 4 days of taking it. I’d take it at 11pm but I’d wake up nauseous in the middle of the night. But it wasn’t bad to the point of throwing up. I will say I felt more affected emotionally. During the 3rd week, my emotions felt all over the place. I have a history of anxiety & it did aggravate it. I cried for no reason, felt more anxious than usual & some paranoia. This lasted about a week. During the last week of taking the sugar pills, I did not get a period. I only had very light spotting for 2 days. This is a big pro for me. No PMS or cramping at all. Yes it was rough the first few weeks, but the side effects have worn off after the 1st month. This birth control is also inexpensive for me, I pay $8 monthly. Don’t let the reviews scare you, give it a try. It takes some time for your body to adjust. I hope it works for you, will update at the end of month 2"

Ortho Tri-Cyclen Lo (ethinyl estradiol / norgestimate) for Birth Control "I used Ortho Tri Cyclen Lo, the brand, for 2 years. It’s all I’ve ever used. I am 29 years old now and I am SO devasted that Jansen has discontinued this because it was too expensive to manufacture, which means they weren’t making as much money as they wanted. But for me it is the best birth control pill out there! No weight gain, no breakthrough bleeding or mood swings, no pregnancy and I’ve never used any backup birth control or condoms- just the pill. I don’t even know where to go now or what to use instead. Please bring back this birth control pill!! It’s been so amazing. I was even willing to pay the $150 per month to get it out of pocket because I don’t want to risk crazy side effects of any other birth controls."

TriNessa (ethinyl estradiol / norgestimate) for Birth Control "The pill started great until everytime I take it I want to vomit all the time. Practically, had the experience of a pregnant woman. I gained weight, was expected and had terrible headaches don't go away for hours. Impossible to sleep without wanting to vomit. I've been having emotional problems feeling depressed and crying without reason."

Ortho Tri-Cyclen (ethinyl estradiol / norgestimate) for Birth Control "The positive I had on this medication was having great, clear skin. But the negatives very heavily outweigh the positives. Ive been on this for a month and a half and already have to stop taking it. I get constant headaches, my mood swings are off the wall (affecting my boyfriend and i's relationship), nausea, difficulty concentrating, irrational thoughts and depression. Switching off of this immediately. If you are prone to depression DO NOT take this pill!"

Estarylla (ethinyl estradiol / norgestimate) for Birth Control "Honestly, I really enjoy this pill. When I first read the reviews I was terrified, but I still went through with taking this pill for the first few months. In the first month I found myself getting slightly nauseous every time I took the pill and that I was getting moodier. but after the first few weeks, everything balanced out and I'm completely fine. i'm sexually active and my partner and i have unprotected sex regularly. no baby here! i'm currently on my fourth month taking it and i feel fine. i've had no significant changes in acne (actually, i think it's improved my skin), my weight has stayed the same, my mood is under control, and my libido is the same as it's always been. just wanted to leave a good review here for estarylla."

Tri-Sprintec (ethinyl estradiol / norgestimate) for Birth Control "As of today I have just started my first Placebo pill in my first month of Tri-Sprintec. For the first week or two I noticed increased nausea and breast tenderness, the nausea subsided but the breast tenderness still lingers (just not as bad). I got on this birth control in June to prevent pregnancy, so far for the whole preventing pregnancy it's wonderful. Periods come right on time and I had no clue of her arrival (no cramps, moodiness etc) which I love! Since I've been on it, the past month I have actually lost 16 pounds and I am quite alright with that, I have decreased appetite which is also a good thing because before I started birth control I would eat every chance I got. Overall this pill is great! You just have to try it out for you!"

Estarylla (ethinyl estradiol / norgestimate) for Birth Control "I was scared to try this after reading the comments here but this is what my gyno prescribed me and I trusted her recommendation. I took this everyday as prescribed and I didn't have a problem. I haven't gotten pregnant so it works. I do feel like my sex drive is lower but its been on the decline since before I got on the pill so I’m not sure if I can blame it on that. I didn’t experience mood swings like others have shared. One thing to note is that I have gained a significant amount of weight- I tend to go up and down in weight (I've always struggled with this) so again not sure if I can blame that on the pill. Overall I would recommend it because I haven't gotten pregnant and i didn't experience negative side effects."

Sprintec (ethinyl estradiol / norgestimate) for Birth Control "This is a great birth control and also has a couple bad side effects I possibly have arthritis in my knee I only noticed shortly after starting this pill. I'm going to the doctor in a couple days to find out what is actually wrong so this pill might not have anything to do with it. The worst side effect is I cry and get upset almost everyday. I have extreme mood swings however my body and face is beautiful and better than ever sex drive is pretty high and great for me. My breasts look fantastic, have grown at least 1 cup size. I don't think I've had weight gain. I have a small flat belly and have only gained weight in the parts a girl would want, my boyfriend loves my body more than ever!"

Sprintec (ethinyl estradiol / norgestimate) for Birth Control "I've been on the pill for about a year now since I switched from the Depo shot. At first it was giving me headaches so I started to take it right before bed. My face has cleared up a lot with the occasional zit around my period. Period have become lighter with less cramps and my breasts have gotten fuller. The only thing that I have noticed is my sex drive isn't what it used to be, but it could just be me."

Sprintec (ethinyl estradiol / norgestimate) for Ovarian Cysts "So I've been reading other reviews for this, and I really think that people should wait until after the first month to decide if this is a horrible birth control because OF COURSE we're going to have the bad side effects the first few weeks! Our bodies are adapting to a new drug so just be patient! The first three weeks I had nausea, mild mood swings, loss of appetite, and EXTREMELY sore and swollen breasts. Since then I've been side effect free. I've been on it for three months now and I have to say it's amazing! I take it for PCOS and because of my PCOS I would be having periods every 6 months and they would be KILLER! I would literally be in bed for days, but with this birth control I have mild short periods. It's fantastic. I definitely recommend it."

Sprintec (ethinyl estradiol / norgestimate) for Birth Control "I've taken Sprintec for about 4 years now. I studied abroad in France and the pharmacy didn't carry Sprintec so I was switched to a variation of a French brand Tri-Sprintec, which I enjoyed. So, when I came back to the U.S I tried Tri-Sprintec and did not like it. I gained weight, lost hair, and switched to Tri-lo-Sprintec. This one made my periods heavier and made me cramp a lot and also I gained even more weight. After about 6 months I decided to just go back to Sprintec which I had taken for 3 years already with no issues... (I'm not sure why I didn't just do this immediately instead of trying other pills). I've never had any issue with Sprintec. I did notice bloating but I've been taking some supplements that help me with this. I've had no issue with losing weight and have successfully lost the weight I had gained on the other pills by just eating healthier and exercising. Sprintec also helped my hair grow back and cleared my skin. I think Sprintec is a fail-proof bc pill."

Mili (ethinyl estradiol / norgestimate) for Birth Control "My Pharmacy ran out of Sprintec so I tried Mili. The first two days I had cramps felt like some food poisoning. I felt weak & non motivated. couldn’t even wear my contacts & I kept drinking water. The worst was the migraines on day 5 &6.. I started breaking out (my skin never does). I started getting strange hot flashes and also chills. I even started sneezing and I’m someone who never sneezes. I started to wonder why I was so bloated. I knew it was the medication after 6 days. The sixth day was the worst : the headache wouldn’t subside. I cleared my throat over 40 times last few days. I felt like I couldn’t even speak bc the headache was so bad like pounding on the sides of my Head."

Femynor (ethinyl estradiol / norgestimate) for Birth Control "When I first started taking this Femynor birth control pill I was nauseous every night, I had the worst cystic acne on my cheeks and chin, and my periods were super heavy and long. I’m now on the 5 month mark of taking this pill and I’ve lost 15 pounds, my skin is clear and I don’t feel nauseous anymore. My periods are heavy the first two days and after that they are super light and only last 5 days. I also never have spotting between periods. The key is to stay patient when taking this pill! The side effects were awful at first and I wanted to stop taking it but I’m glad I pushed through because out of the many birth control pills I’ve taken this has to be the best one."

Sprintec (ethinyl estradiol / norgestimate) for Birth Control "I have been on Sprintec for about 3-4 years. Overall, there's definitely pros & cons for me personally. I was young when I started taking it, and it helped so much with cystic acne. It's done what it's supposed to as far as preventing pregnancy. BUT as I've gotten older and the longer I've taken it, I feel like I'm dealing with PMS or even PMDD (a more severe form of PMS) for more than half the month. It's terrible... The mood swings are terrible, weight change, fluid retention, acne (not cystic, but acne and dryness of skin), prone to yeast infections after periods, terrible fatigue, and I feel depressed and angry. All this with caring well for my health and my skin. Keep in mind this is my personal experience up to date!"

Tri-Sprintec (ethinyl estradiol / norgestimate) for Birth Control "Every birth control pill will react differently to each of our bodies ! The best thing to do is to just try it out and stop taking them if we see changes we don’t like. I personally LOVE this brand. My experience is awesome ! I was never regular so it has helped me get my period every month. My mood swings are normal but I feel more energetic, I lost weight and I feel better than ever! Sex being involved, we all know that nothing is 100 percent accurate but I had unprotected sex with my partner over a year and I’ve had no surprises thankfully. Continue the routine with a pill and see if you could either love it or hate it! Glad to give another opinion and make the best decision that suits your body(:"

Tri-Estarylla (ethinyl estradiol / norgestimate) for Birth Control "Ive been on the Tri-Estarylla birth control for about 6 years now, and it has helped with my ovarian cysts, acne (paired with spironolactone) and the heaviness of my periods. The only downfall is that the level of hormones fluctuates week to week, so I do experience PMS, fatigue, period acne, and whatever else comes with a regular period. I’m so consistent taking it literally have always had unprotected sex, ejaculated in, and never been pregnant or had a scare. My body is so sensitive and this works great! Also I’m 21 so this has worked well for my teenage years."

Tri-Sprintec (ethinyl estradiol / norgestimate) for Ovarian Cysts "I just started this pill Tri-Sprintec 2 days ago for ovarian cysts, and I have high hopes for it. I went through so many doctors who told me everything was fine with me but I knew something was wrong. Finally I found a doctor that actually ran the blood tests for me and diagnosed me with PCOS. I’m 27, I can’t believe it took this long for someone to listen! Anyways! I was dealing with extreme anxiety and constant agitation for years, and starting this pill I finally feel normal. Thank god! No mood swings and mini rages. I’m excited to finally have something that works for me!"

Estarylla (ethinyl estradiol / norgestimate) for Birth Control "I’ve never left a review for anything before. Not a movie, nor a restaurant, nothing. This birth control is THE WORST. After being on Mononessa for a couple of years and having no issues, Walgreens changed the prescription to Sprintec (also no problems) and then to this Estarylla poison. I’m 18 almost 19, an extremely happy, healthy, active, hardworking person. Estarylla has completely demolished my self esteem, leaving me in a weird depressed, anxiety-ridden state for the one and a half months I’ve been taking it. I’ve been feeling like I’m in this weird, dreamlike state for the past few weeks and was so relieved to hear that other people on this medication have felt the same way. I’ve not had the motivation to get work done or socialize due to the extreme mood swings, depression, and fatigue that Estarylla causes. Please, please don’t take Estarylla. For the sake of your mental and physical health."

Tri-Lo-Sprintec (ethinyl estradiol / norgestimate) for Endometriosis "Tri-Lo-Sprintec was my first birth control and I was prescribed it by my derm to help with my acne and I almost had a panic attack after reading these reviews on my first day. I actually had a good experience and I had been on it for exactly one year. I struggle with mental illness so I was afraid that I'd feel worse but that didn't happen; In fact, I felt so much better after a week. I wasn't having mood swings and my emotions levelled out. It helped my cystic acne. My skin is clear at this point, with two small blemishes a month. I didn't gain any weight, nor experience nausea or loss of appetite. I have an autoimmune thing so I was surprised that my body didn't react badly. I actually felt so normal that I didn't realize how good it had been doing for me, so when my prescription expired a month ago and I was without, my body went crazy. This last period was the worst, it was so bad I couldn't leave the bed. If you're on the fence give it a try."

Ortho Tri-Cyclen (ethinyl estradiol / norgestimate) for Birth Control "I started taking birth control pills a few years ago but after trying 5 or 6 different ones, I started taking OTC. This is the ONLY pill I have tried that does not make me bleed through half the pack, clears up my acne to an extent, does not affect my mood, and makes my cramps basically nonexistent. It is a miracle pill for me. I think because it has varying amount of hormones each week that mimic your own cycle, it works better for many women. I have not experienced any difference in my weight, I've started working out since I began taking this pill and have lost a little weight. The thing I am happiest about though is that I do not have breakthrough bleeding."
