Sprintec (ethinyl estradiol / norgestimate) for Abnormal Uterine Bleeding "I took Sprintec for 7 months and after seeing these reviews after a MONTH of bleeding (brown blood for the most part ) I am quitting this pill - my gyn tells me to keep taking but I refuse when this could risk my health. It hurts my vision, gives me cramps, induces nausea, and I'm hoping quitting will calm down my bleeding and reset my normal menstrual cycle. This will probably be the last birth control I ever take. For all the ladies wondering when the madness ends after quitting- I'll keep in touch and refresh this review when it stops and let you guys in on my quitting journey."

Sprintec (ethinyl estradiol / norgestimate) for Birth Control "Okay so I had to put a review for this pill just to offer some relief for other girls. In my experience I had taken this pill before my period and read that you could only be protected if you started EXACTLY on your first day of your period. Yeah it sounded stupid at the time but basically if you take it 5 days in a row you're protected. It was my first time taking birth control and was using it to have sex with my partner. I've had a lot of unprotected sex with my boyfriend so the pill really works but it's very easy to get sloppy or lazy taking the pill which has resulted in 2 pregnancy scares. Now I'm more careful because I'm a uni student and still want my freedom. It very important to really consider having unprotected sex because it can change your life in an instant. The best time to take this pill is in the evening because you'll avoid the nausea while sleeping in my experience. The bloating can get really bad sometimes so that's annoying. As far as boob pain, it's mild."

Sprintec (ethinyl estradiol / norgestimate) for Birth Control "I started this birth control Sprintec just under two months ago. This is my first one. I have two days left this month and I’m quitting. I have a history of stomach issues and my periods definitely aren’t fun either. I threw up the first night I started Sprintec. I have not been myself since I started it. My stomach hurts and I’m nauseous every day. I have really bad headaches almost every day if not every day. I can’t sleep. My emotions are awful. I feel so depressed and anxious. I struggle to find the motivation to do anything or even live. I wanted my periods to be less painful. Now I look forward to them every month because I feel better when I’m on it than when I take the pill for the other 21 days. I desperately just want to be myself again. I don’t even know who I am anymore. I’m sure this is different for everyone, but I just can’t handle it anymore."

Tri-Sprintec (ethinyl estradiol / norgestimate) for Birth Control "Within the 1st week I went from a happy optimistic girl, to a very unhappy, unstable individual. My experience: crying for no reason, complete misery, severe weight gain, anti-social, exhausted, nauseous, dry eyes, high anxiety, NO sex drive, painful sex, cramping, bloating, irrational behavior..."

Mili (ethinyl estradiol / norgestimate) for Birth Control "i HATE this. Apparently Sprintec is on a nationwide shortage. I've been taking this for about 3 months. I'm bloated all the time, I began to think I was pregnant. I feel so hungry and tired and have the worst stomach cramps. My headaches are sometimes unbearable. I figured it wouldn’t be any different than Sprintec... but I hate it."

Estarylla (ethinyl estradiol / norgestimate) for Birth Control "DONT READ THE REVIEWS!!!!! the pill works so different for everyone’s body. I was on Loestrin Fe for around 6 months before I started Estarylla. On the Loestrin I experienced awful depression that I didn’t even know was possible from birth control. In the first week of starting Estarylla I felt 100x better and still feel waaaayyy happier. While on my first pill I read the reviews on this website and started sobbing my eyes out freaking out that Estarylla was going to be the death of me. The only bad thing I've experienced on this medication is extremely heavy irregular bleeding, but I realize it’s still the first month so it should get better. Birth control works WAY different on everyone’s body so don’t let these reviews freak you out!!!!"

Estarylla (ethinyl estradiol / norgestimate) for Birth Control "Reading these other reviews make me question my experience with this birth control because I have anxiety and depression. However, I have struggled with this all my life and I can't say for sure that Estarylla has impacted these things for me. I've taken this birth control for over two years and I have a very high sex drive along with clear skin! My experience has been overwhelmingly positive but I wish there was more education about the possible physical and mental side effects of these medications."

Tri-Estarylla (ethinyl estradiol / norgestimate) for Birth Control "When reading reviews for this birth control I was a bit taken back from all of the negative comments and side effects that some women were having. I decided to just go ahead and give it a try, because yes it causes different women different symptoms. I haven't had a single complaint from this birth control. I have actually lost all of my usual food craving, which has caused me to lose a couple pounds, (which I needed). It hasn't caused me to have random mood swings or irregular bleeding either. I say to all of the women looking at these reviews, I say go ahead and give it a try because it does work different for everyone! You never know until you try."

Tri-Sprintec (ethinyl estradiol / norgestimate) for Birth Control "I was on the Xulane patch for a couple months and my period never regulated. I was also very sad and tired on Xulane (to the point where my family started to notice changes) I switched to Tri-Sprintec one month after stopping Xulane. I did have some side effects when starting the medicine eg. nausea & fatigue. Overall, I really love this birth control. So far, I’m not pregnant. Remember, everyone can experience different side effects! Don’t let these reviews scare you. Give your body a chance!"

Estarylla (ethinyl estradiol / norgestimate) for Birth Control "This is the worst birth control of all time. By the 4th pill I was fatigued, crying all night, and had some very dark thoughts. Threw them away the next morning. I highly recommend never coming near these pills."

Sprintec (ethinyl estradiol / norgestimate) for Birth Control "I've been on Sprintec for years now. Never had any issues, no pregnancy scares and no side effects. My skin is pretty normal and my weight issues have to do more with me stuffing my face with cookies and ice cream than due to birth control."

Mili (ethinyl estradiol / norgestimate) for Birth Control "HORRIBLE. My pharmacist told me its exactly the same as sprintec. I've been bleeding for almost two weeks and have felt so insecure and emotional with hormone swings, I just straight up stopped taking it. I have an appointment with my OBGYN on the 15th and I'm demanding I get sprintec back or to send me to another doctor who can give it to me. ITS NOT IDENTICAL ITS WORSE. I wish I never took Mili."

Mono-Linyah (ethinyl estradiol / norgestimate) for Birth Control "I decided to share a review on this birth control because I saw so many negative responses. I have been taking Mono-Linyah for 10 months now and I have never had any bad side effects, my skin cleared up and I actually lost weight. I just want to remind everyone that reads these reviews that not all birth controls will work the same way for us!! You can not sit and read what people write. Talk to your doctor, see what they suggest and go from there. Unfortunately some people have to try a few before they find the right one. Good luck!"

Estarylla (ethinyl estradiol / norgestimate) for Abnormal Uterine Bleeding "I started out with Sprintec and everything was fine unless I missed a dose. I got switched to Estarylla and I’ve been bleeding for 4-5 months now. When I first started the Estarylla, I wasn’t bleeding then after awhile I just started bleeding everyday, NONSTOP."

Sprintec (ethinyl estradiol / norgestimate) for Birth Control "So I just finished my first month and was TERRIFIED of this birth control after reading the reviews before I started. And honestly I have had zero side effects other than clearer skin and I've actually lost weight rather than gained weight (not sure if it's totally related to the pill or not) and my breasts have been a little sore but not unbearable so don't think too much about the reviews, and try it before you assume you'll be overly emotional and gain weight, it'll just vary but for me this has been awesome so far!"

Sprintec (ethinyl estradiol / norgestimate) for Birth Control "I have been taking Sprintec for 3 years now. It has worked really well for me. Before this I would get very moody, get menstrual migraines, have really bad cramps, and when I was 18 I started getting nauseous/sick every other month within the first couple of days of my period. Since taking Sprintec I feel my mood has greatly improved, I no longer get sick/nauseous, my cramps have become more than tolerable, and I noticed no increased acne or weight gain. I haven't experienced any of the yeast infection/urinary tract problems with this. However every girl will react differently to different birth controls. If it doesn't work for you, don't worry; just call your doctor and discuss some new options. Eventually you will find something that works for you."

Tri-Sprintec (ethinyl estradiol / norgestimate) for Acne "I was worried about trying this birth control after reading reviews online, so I wanted to share my experience. I am on the second month of Tri Sprintec and haven't experienced a single side effect. Additionally, I have noticed my skin slowly but surely beginning to clear up."

Mili (ethinyl estradiol / norgestimate) for Birth Control "AWFUL!!! Was slowly causing LIVER DAMAGE!!! By the third month mark, I began to have upper stomach cramps and pain to the touch. I also had nausea, vomiting, severe fatigue, weight loss, & a body rash (not seen but felt.) I wasn’t sure it was the birth control so I took myself to the ER. After several weeks of blood work my liver enzymes were up into the 500s. My doctor was about to do a liver biopsy but I started my period and took myself off of the birth control. After a week of not being on it daily, my stomach pain disappeared I no longer was sick! Two weeks later my liver enzymes are finally back down to almost normal! I would never recommend this birth-control to anyone!!"

Sprintec (ethinyl estradiol / norgestimate) for Birth Control "Everyone seems to only want to discuss the bad when reviewing different methods of birth control. Overall my experience being on Sprintec for 4 months now has been significantly better than average. The only type of birth control I was on before was Depo and Sprintec has been a dream in comparison. I love this birth control because I have absolutely no unexpected bleeding, significant weight gain or complexion issues on this birth control. Since I started Sprintec my acne-prone problematic skin cleared up in less than a month! No more quarterly trips to the dermatologist now that I am on the pill. Most importantly I don't have to worry about pregnancy. I have not noticed myself being overly emotional or unusually depressed while on any type of birth control. My only complaint is stomach issues for the first 7 days upon starting and craving at the beginning of the cycle. I would definitely recommend this birth control for pregnancy prevention and acne treatment."

Tri-Sprintec (ethinyl estradiol / norgestimate) for Birth Control "I have been on Tri-Sprintec for 4 months now and it is great. I had been on Ortho Tri-cyclen Lo before, but switched because it was so expensive. I have had absolutely no problems with either pill. No headaches, no nausea, no weight gain, no breakout problems, and best of all no pregnancy. On Tri-Sprintec my periods are slightly shorter than they used to be, and I hardly have any cramps now, whereas without birth control pills I had terrible cramps for the first two days of my period. I am not moody, either. I would recommend this pill to anyone currently on Ortho Tri-Cyclen Lo, or anyone at all for that matter."

Mili (ethinyl estradiol / norgestimate) for Birth Control "My pharmacy switched this on me instead of my regular sprintec. They are supposed to be the same dosage and pretty much interchangeable, but they are definitely not. I've been taking it for 2 months and I spend most of the month spotting, bloated, tired, and occasional cramping. My periods are heavier, which you wouldn't think is possible since I'm spotting all month. I'm honestly thinking about just going off of it until I can get sprintec again."

Tri-Lo-Estarylla (ethinyl estradiol / norgestimate) for Birth Control "Tri-Lo-Estarylla was so, so awful. I really wanted this to work. I knew that there would be side effects, but I never expected them to be this bad. I can never predict when I am going to be bleeding. Due to the inconsistency of my bleeding, I believed I was pregnant at one point while taking this medication. However, the physical side effects were not even the worst part. I have never experienced constant anxiety or depression until taking these pills. I have experienced panic attacks while taking this pill that I have never had before. This medication has quite frankly ruined my mental health. I get stuck in cycles of anxiety and depression. I panic over the smallest things and generally feel as if I do not have any emotional stability in my life. If you are experiencing these mental health symptoms, please know that you are not alone. Contact your doctor and see if you can stop taking these pills. I hope that either another pill or another form of contraception will work for me."

Sprintec (ethinyl estradiol / norgestimate) for Birth Control "I have been on Sprintec for about 3 months now. I have gained some weight (maybe 5 lbs) but I feel like that is normal with birth control pills. I don't really have any negative side effects to say besides that. On the bright side though, I went from an A cup to almost a C cup. Can't complain lol"

Tri-Lo-Marzia (ethinyl estradiol / norgestimate) for Birth Control "This may be very hypocritical considering I went on the site to look at reviews, but stop driving yourself crazy!!! Everyone’s body is soo different which means everyone can have different experiences with their birth control. Some reviews say your acne will be worse than ever while some say their skin cleared up in the first few weeks. Personally, I was on this bc for about 2 years and nothing seemed to change. My period started to finally regulate after a month or two, my weight increased a tiny bit (but bc weight gain is usually water retention), my mood never changed, and everything was good until recently. I talked to my gynecologist and we decided to switch pills. I’m not saying don’t read reviews, but don’t let these be your deciding factor. Talk to your doctor/health care provider/anyone else who you trust about this."
