Estarylla (ethinyl estradiol / norgestimate) for Birth Control "Like many of the other ladies I was on Femynor and my pharmacy switched me to this because they were out. I noticed the change almost immediately by day 4 I threw the pack away. My husband noticed that I was easily angered, was crying for everything and seemed depressed. I had tried them about 2 years ago and had the same problem. Every body is different but I'm sharing my experience because the pharmacist made it seem as if I was crazy. You know your body!"

Sprintec (ethinyl estradiol / norgestimate) for Birth Control "It hasn't made me sick or caused acne. I went to the doctor's twice from a urinary tract infection since I've been on it. I've been taking it for a month now, and my mood has changed severely. I have no interest in sex at all, I get dry, and I have no intention of wanting to do it. I feel stressed and depressed, and I've never been like that. I feel bad for my boyfriend, and it's been ruining our love life. I'm calling my doctor to switch as soon as she is available. When they say birth control doesn't affect your mood, they are wrong! Read the other reviews."

Sprintec (ethinyl estradiol / norgestimate) for Birth Control "I have had a great experience with sprintec actually. I have been using this for about a year and have not felt the side effects I used to feel with other birth control pills. My mood is pretty regulated, I never got sore breasts, my appetite was normal throughout and I have not felt nauseous once. I haven't gotten pregnant either so I will continue use for as long as it's available and working in harmony with my body. 10/10"

Estarylla (ethinyl estradiol / norgestimate) for Birth Control "Honestly, I really enjoy this pill. When I first read the reviews I was terrified, but I still went through with taking this pill for the first few months. In the first month I found myself getting slightly nauseous every time I took the pill and that I was getting moodier. but after the first few weeks, everything balanced out and I'm completely fine. i'm sexually active and my partner and i have unprotected sex regularly. no baby here! i'm currently on my fourth month taking it and i feel fine. i've had no significant changes in acne (actually, i think it's improved my skin), my weight has stayed the same, my mood is under control, and my libido is the same as it's always been. just wanted to leave a good review here for estarylla."

TriNessa (ethinyl estradiol / norgestimate) for Birth Control "The pill started great until everytime I take it I want to vomit all the time. Practically, had the experience of a pregnant woman. I gained weight, was expected and had terrible headaches don't go away for hours. Impossible to sleep without wanting to vomit. I've been having emotional problems feeling depressed and crying without reason."

Ortho Tri-Cyclen (ethinyl estradiol / norgestimate) for Birth Control "The positive I had on this medication was having great, clear skin. But the negatives very heavily outweigh the positives. Ive been on this for a month and a half and already have to stop taking it. I get constant headaches, my mood swings are off the wall (affecting my boyfriend and i's relationship), nausea, difficulty concentrating, irrational thoughts and depression. Switching off of this immediately. If you are prone to depression DO NOT take this pill!"

Sprintec (ethinyl estradiol / norgestimate) for Abnormal Uterine Bleeding "This pill worked perfect for me for the first month. Now it’s nothing up bleeding constantly and I’ve been on it for about 6 months. So basically 5 months of bleeding because of this pill and blood during intercourse when I get a day break from the bleeding. DO NOT RECOMMEND!"

Sprintec (ethinyl estradiol / norgestimate) for Birth Control "I've been on the pill for about a year now since I switched from the Depo shot. At first it was giving me headaches so I started to take it right before bed. My face has cleared up a lot with the occasional zit around my period. Period have become lighter with less cramps and my breasts have gotten fuller. The only thing that I have noticed is my sex drive isn't what it used to be, but it could just be me."

Tri-Sprintec (ethinyl estradiol / norgestimate) for Birth Control "As of today I have just started my first Placebo pill in my first month of Tri-Sprintec. For the first week or two I noticed increased nausea and breast tenderness, the nausea subsided but the breast tenderness still lingers (just not as bad). I got on this birth control in June to prevent pregnancy, so far for the whole preventing pregnancy it's wonderful. Periods come right on time and I had no clue of her arrival (no cramps, moodiness etc) which I love! Since I've been on it, the past month I have actually lost 16 pounds and I am quite alright with that, I have decreased appetite which is also a good thing because before I started birth control I would eat every chance I got. Overall this pill is great! You just have to try it out for you!"

Ortho Tri-Cyclen Lo (ethinyl estradiol / norgestimate) for Birth Control "I used Ortho Tri Cyclen Lo, the brand, for 2 years. It’s all I’ve ever used. I am 29 years old now and I am SO devasted that Jansen has discontinued this because it was too expensive to manufacture, which means they weren’t making as much money as they wanted. But for me it is the best birth control pill out there! No weight gain, no breakthrough bleeding or mood swings, no pregnancy and I’ve never used any backup birth control or condoms- just the pill. I don’t even know where to go now or what to use instead. Please bring back this birth control pill!! It’s been so amazing. I was even willing to pay the $150 per month to get it out of pocket because I don’t want to risk crazy side effects of any other birth controls."

Sprintec (ethinyl estradiol / norgestimate) for Birth Control "Got on Sprintec in 2018 and it was great for 6 months. My breast got bigger I am a C cup and I went into double D’s. But I got tired of the periods once a month so I went and got an IUD (liletta) my cup size went back to normal had the IUD for 6 months and got it removed because it felt weird not having a period, I just felt off without it. Now I’m back on Sprintec and I’m having the same thing occur with my breasts. I enjoy having the bigger boobs it’s just the soreness on the sides that comes with it. I did feel nausea every single day. Sprintec is a really good birth control, you don’t get pregnant and you’re basically in control of it. Everyone’s body is completely different, so just because you read one review that gives a negative saying shows how it reacted to their bodies. Go talk to your doctor or nurse about it before choosing. It took me about 4 months to decide and do my research before I decided on getting something life long term until I’m ready to have kids."

Sprintec (ethinyl estradiol / norgestimate) for Ovarian Cysts "So I've been reading other reviews for this, and I really think that people should wait until after the first month to decide if this is a horrible birth control because OF COURSE we're going to have the bad side effects the first few weeks! Our bodies are adapting to a new drug so just be patient! The first three weeks I had nausea, mild mood swings, loss of appetite, and EXTREMELY sore and swollen breasts. Since then I've been side effect-free. I've been on it for three months now, and I have to say it's amazing! I take it for PCOS, and because of my PCOS, I would be having periods every 6 months, and they would be KILLER! I would literally be in bed for days, but with this birth control, I have mild, short periods. It's fantastic. I definitely recommend it."

Sprintec (ethinyl estradiol / norgestimate) for Birth Control "This is a great birth control and also has a couple bad side effects I possibly have arthritis in my knee I only noticed shortly after starting this pill. I'm going to the doctor in a couple days to find out what is actually wrong so this pill might not have anything to do with it. The worst side effect is I cry and get upset almost everyday. I have extreme mood swings however my body and face is beautiful and better than ever sex drive is pretty high and great for me. My breasts look fantastic, have grown at least 1 cup size. I don't think I've had weight gain. I have a small flat belly and have only gained weight in the parts a girl would want, my boyfriend loves my body more than ever!"

Tri-Estarylla (ethinyl estradiol / norgestimate) for Birth Control "Ive been on the Tri-Estarylla birth control for about 6 years now, and it has helped with my ovarian cysts, acne (paired with spironolactone) and the heaviness of my periods. The only downfall is that the level of hormones fluctuates week to week, so I do experience PMS, fatigue, period acne, and whatever else comes with a regular period. I’m so consistent taking it literally have always had unprotected sex, ejaculated in, and never been pregnant or had a scare. My body is so sensitive and this works great! Also I’m 21 so this has worked well for my teenage years."

Tri-Lo-Mili (ethinyl estradiol / norgestimate) for Birth Control "So far I've had it for 3 1/2 months. I truthfully have found it very nice. I haven't gained any weight, have a normal appetite, and my acne has slowly but healthily improved. I do keep a good diet and consistently exercise. I am highly sexually active and don't use condoms. My partner pulls out so I haven't had any problems. I'm still a little scared for them to finish while inside so I can't add my input on that. My mood hasn't drastically changed; however, my first period since starting it lasted 10 days, when normally it's only 6 days. At my 3-month mark, I've gone down to 8 days, but hopefully, it continues to go down each period until it returns to its normal length. My period is very heavy the first few days but overnight will switch to very light, which is kinda odd. Overall, I recommend it for people who are scared of weight gain and want it to get rid of cramps and acne!"

Mili (ethinyl estradiol / norgestimate) for Birth Control "I've been taking Mili for about a year now. I've seen A LOT of bad reviews on this BC. However, most are due to people switching from Sprintec or other forms of BC. Just know that changing any form of BC will most likely cause drastic changes in your body. But again, I've taken Mili for well over a year now, and it has never caused me any problems, so don't let negative views stop you from trying it. It's helped me so much with my heavy flow and cramps. I personally love it as a first-time BC."

Estarylla (ethinyl estradiol / norgestimate) for Birth Control "These reviews definitely gave me mixed feelings, but I'm already one week in. The only side effects I've had so far is during my 2nd-4th day I was EXTREMELY nauseous, especially a few hours after I took the medication, but that resolved itself within a week and I'm having no current side effects. I'm taking it for hormone regulation to ease PMS symptoms because they worsen my psych issues (mainly BPD symptoms and ASD overstimulation) LIKE CRAZY. I also wanted a more regular period, so I'll leave another review within the next few months. Also from what I've read, it seems like a lot of people who had a bad experience was given it as a replacement for another birth control pill. This is the first one I've ever taken. I'd say give it a try because it might work out for you."

Mili (ethinyl estradiol / norgestimate) for Birth Control "My Pharmacy ran out of Sprintec so I tried Mili. The first two days I had cramps felt like some food poisoning. I felt weak & non motivated. couldn’t even wear my contacts & I kept drinking water. The worst was the migraines on day 5 &6.. I started breaking out (my skin never does). I started getting strange hot flashes and also chills. I even started sneezing and I’m someone who never sneezes. I started to wonder why I was so bloated. I knew it was the medication after 6 days. The sixth day was the worst : the headache wouldn’t subside. I cleared my throat over 40 times last few days. I felt like I couldn’t even speak bc the headache was so bad like pounding on the sides of my Head."

Tri-Lo-Mili (ethinyl estradiol / norgestimate) for Birth Control "Tri-Lo-Mili is the WORST THING YOU WILL EVER TAKE. I miss my old self this pill has made me lash out on loved ones, depressed, emotional, anxious, the list goes on. It made me completely dry down there and it made me break out into a rash. I have been itching all over my body for a month now. I’ve been on the pill for the two months and I tried to stick it out and see if the symptoms would go away, but no. I will be getting off this immediately. First time on birth control and the last time."

Femynor (ethinyl estradiol / norgestimate) for Birth Control "When I first started taking this Femynor birth control pill I was nauseous every night, I had the worst cystic acne on my cheeks and chin, and my periods were super heavy and long. I’m now on the 5 month mark of taking this pill and I’ve lost 15 pounds, my skin is clear and I don’t feel nauseous anymore. My periods are heavy the first two days and after that they are super light and only last 5 days. I also never have spotting between periods. The key is to stay patient when taking this pill! The side effects were awful at first and I wanted to stop taking it but I’m glad I pushed through because out of the many birth control pills I’ve taken this has to be the best one."

Estarylla (ethinyl estradiol / norgestimate) for Birth Control "I was scared to try this after reading the comments here but this is what my gyno prescribed me and I trusted her recommendation. I took this everyday as prescribed and I didn't have a problem. I haven't gotten pregnant so it works. I do feel like my sex drive is lower but its been on the decline since before I got on the pill so I’m not sure if I can blame it on that. I didn’t experience mood swings like others have shared. One thing to note is that I have gained a significant amount of weight- I tend to go up and down in weight (I've always struggled with this) so again not sure if I can blame that on the pill. Overall I would recommend it because I haven't gotten pregnant and i didn't experience negative side effects."

Mono-Linyah (ethinyl estradiol / norgestimate) for Birth Control "If I could give this medication a lower rating than 1/10 I would. I was told “Mono-Linyah” is a generic form of Sprintec. This can’t be any more different in the affect it is having on me. I have been on Mono-Linyah for approximately 9 months. I don’t know how I stayed on it for this long. I trusted my doctor when she told me it was a generic form of Sprintec. I gained about 15 pounds in the 9 months I’ve been on this pill. My acne has been awful while on this pill. The biggest and most drastic change in myself, other than the weight gain, was my mood changes. My anxiety was already pretty bad, but while on Mono-Linyah, it made me feel I couldn’t manage it. I started to have mood swings, dark thoughts, anxiety attacks, and would cry all of the time. I regret not realizing this medication was the reason for all of my symptoms earlier on."

Ortho Tri-Cyclen (ethinyl estradiol / norgestimate) for Birth Control "I started taking birth control pills a few years ago but after trying 5 or 6 different ones, I started taking OTC. This is the ONLY pill I have tried that does not make me bleed through half the pack, clears up my acne to an extent, does not affect my mood, and makes my cramps basically nonexistent. It is a miracle pill for me. I think because it has varying amount of hormones each week that mimic your own cycle, it works better for many women. I have not experienced any difference in my weight, I've started working out since I began taking this pill and have lost a little weight. The thing I am happiest about though is that I do not have breakthrough bleeding."

Tri-Sprintec (ethinyl estradiol / norgestimate) for Birth Control "Every birth control pill will react differently to each of our bodies ! The best thing to do is to just try it out and stop taking them if we see changes we don’t like. I personally LOVE this brand. My experience is awesome ! I was never regular so it has helped me get my period every month. My mood swings are normal but I feel more energetic, I lost weight and I feel better than ever! Sex being involved, we all know that nothing is 100 percent accurate but I had unprotected sex with my partner over a year and I’ve had no surprises thankfully. Continue the routine with a pill and see if you could either love it or hate it! Glad to give another opinion and make the best decision that suits your body(:"

Femynor (ethinyl estradiol / norgestimate) for Birth Control "I’m on the 2nd month of taking Femnyor. I had nausea & headaches the first 4 days of taking it. I’d take it at 11pm but I’d wake up nauseous in the middle of the night. But it wasn’t bad to the point of throwing up. I will say I felt more affected emotionally. During the 3rd week, my emotions felt all over the place. I have a history of anxiety & it did aggravate it. I cried for no reason, felt more anxious than usual & some paranoia. This lasted about a week. During the last week of taking the sugar pills, I did not get a period. I only had very light spotting for 2 days. This is a big pro for me. No PMS or cramping at all. Yes it was rough the first few weeks, but the side effects have worn off after the 1st month. This birth control is also inexpensive for me, I pay $8 monthly. Don’t let the reviews scare you, give it a try. It takes some time for your body to adjust. I hope it works for you, will update at the end of month 2"
