For Birth Control "Life-changing in a good way. I'm sorry to all of you who had terrible side effects. This is the third pill brand I've been on and by far the best. I'm not taking it to prevent pregnancy, though. I suffer from terrible PCOS that left me sick for over a year. We are talking extreme anemia, constant nonstop heavy bleeding for months on end, fatigue, crippling cramps, weight gain, and no sex drive. Taking it 4 months now (note I take nothing but continuous active pills to level out my hormone imbalance) and I have experienced zero bad side effects. I'm healthier than I've been in years, weight loss, glowing skin, thriving sex drive, no cramps or endless painful periods. It's been a real lifesaver."

For Birth Control "The Tarina Fe 1/20 was the first birth control pill I’ve gotten on. It wasn’t too bad. Although I gained around 10 or 15 pounds after being on it for a year (recently just started the Blisovi Fe pill), it did clear up my acne pretty good. But I would get very emotional at times where I would literally tear up for the slightest thing, then become moody the next second. My period was only 4 days instead of being 7 days, and I would get cramps, but they weren’t too bad, and my periods weren’t too heavy but not too light. Also, my sex drive didn’t decrease! Hopefully this helps someone! :)"

For Birth Control "I have been taking this Tarina Fe 1/20 pill for 4 months now. My periods have definitely become a lot lighter since taking the pill. They were irregular for the first two months, but the last couple of months they have been normal and are lighter than they used to be. The pill has caused me to gain some weight (about 5 pounds) since I started taking it. This all happened within the first month, and my weight has stayed the same since. The pill does cause some random cramps. But it does everything it’s supposed to do."

For Birth Control "Horrible. I'm on my second pack. I used to be a happy person and in love, but with this birth control, I feel emotionally unavailable and irritated all the time. I'm no longer happy with the things that made me happy. I've had yeast infections, depression, and anxiety. The periods never stopped, and the cramps are horrible. I wouldn't recommend it."

For Birth Control "I started taking this birth control about 5 months ago, and I’m not too sure about it. My face has been breaking out more compared to the other pills I have taken. My periods are extremely light, cramps, and back pain every month, mood swings, and headaches. I do not recommend this birth control at all, there are definitely better options for you."

For Birth Control "I started this birth control 6 months ago. In that short span of time, I've had three yeast infections. I've never had one before, and I have no idea what could have caused it other than this birth control. The only other downside is my period cramps are extremely worse than they were before I started the pill. Before, it was 3-4 days of regular bleeding, with cramps on the first day. Now it lasts 2 days, barely any bleeding, but the most painful cramps I've ever experienced. Whenever those two days come around, I have to stay home and normally take pills to sleep through it. That's how painful it is! Other than that, everything else was fine."

For Birth Control "There are certain things I really enjoy about this pill. It makes my periods very light and tolerable. Off of birth control, my periods are accompanied by horrible cramps, and I would bleed heavily for 5 days. On the pill, I rarely experience a cramp, and my bleeding is light for about 2 days. I have noticed I have been a bit more emotional and fatigued around the time of my period, but it's not to a level I can't handle. There is one very bad side effect for me. I'm not completely sure if it's the pill, so I plan to get it checked out by a doctor. Ever since I started to take this brand of birth control, I've had vaginal dryness. I believe this is causing my vagina to tear and bleed during sex."

For Birth Control "I am starting my second week of being on this pill (this is my first time trying any forms of birth control), and it has given me bad acid reflux, nausea to the point where I threw up some blood one morning. I'm mostly taking this pill to clear up my acne, and so far it has gotten worse. I have not experienced any spotting or bleeding. I have experienced some random cramping. It has so many side effects, and I'm not sure if it's worth it :/. My sex drive has increased, but oh lord, I am so sensitive about everything."

For Birth Control "For me, this Tarina Fe 1/20 is the ABSOLUTE WORST PILL EVER. I just got off of it after 2 whole years, starting when I was 16 years old. Before taking this pill, I was happy and skinny with minor depression and anxiety that I've had my entire life, and as soon as I went on this pill, and every day for the last 2 years, I've had the worst depression EVER. I cry every day, and I have anxiety attacks, everything makes me cry, and I had such bad anxiety I was diagnosed with tachycardia because my AVERAGE HEART RATE WAS 150. I still have acne and cramps, just not as bad. I got hives from heat exposure, bloating, spotting, no sleep, chest pains, muscle spasms, dehydration, vaginal dryness-literally every negative side effect but ENHANCED."

For Birth Control "I've been on Tarina for three months now, and it's great as a birth control factor. However, I am very emotional now, not as extreme as others, but I do get upset at little things now, and I take offense at harmless jokes that I would have never gotten upset about before the pill. I also notice that my cramps are strong (5/10) considering I barely had cramps before these pills, and I get bloated often. Overall, it does prevent pregnancy, but crying, cramps, and bloating are the price you have to pay."

For Birth Control "I've been on this pill for 6 months, and it's the worst. I get 2 periods a month, super emotional, terrible cramps, and crazy mood swings. It's good at preventing pregnancy, but I definitely would not recommend."

For Birth Control "With these pills, I didn't have any kind of bad effects. The only thing while being on these pills is I was very emotional, crying over every little small thing that my boyfriend did. In addition, the painful pains in the abdominal were like having menstrual cramps. Oh, but the sugar pill week! The worst period experience. I go to university, and I had to leave class because I had explosive diarrhea, and when I say painful, I mean excruciating cramps and blood clots falling out of my vagina every time I went to the bathroom (sorry for getting too personal). Would I try them again? If they were my only option, but I wouldn't take the placebos... never again!"

For Birth Control "I have been on this for 2.5 months now, and before this, I had the Paragard. I had terrible periods, and I would get terrible cramps anytime I was bloated, and now I don't have any of those side effects, and I am feeling pretty much like myself on this pill. My moods are pretty even, I do get some brown spotting on and off again, and I am hoping with longer use it will subside. I am continuously cycling, and it might just take a while for my body to get used to it. I can become anemic easily, so it's nice having the iron pills on hand with this BC. If it is affecting my mood, it's making me a little more selfish and thinking of myself more, and to put myself first, which is actually helpful for figuring out exactly what I want to do with my life."

For Birth Control "The first week into taking this pill, I got the yeast infection side effect, and I've never had one before. It made me way more emotional and sensitive to drama. My boyfriend doesn't even think I'm acting like the same person before I started taking the pill. Not only this, but it makes me really hungry even when I feel full, I just crave eating more food. It also caused my acne to get worse within the first week. I stopped taking it after the first week, so then I had the worst period of my whole life. I'm 18, and I rarely had any sort of painful cramps, and for the past 4 months, I've had cramps that are so painful it feels like I'm giving birth and having painful contractions. Taking this pill was the worst mistake I've ever made!"

For Birth Control "My experience on the pill is going okay. I'm on my 3rd pack, no bleeding, just spotted for an hour. I get cramps when it's time for my period to come. I notice I have become more emotional lately. I feel like crying a lot. When someone tells me something, I get really sensitive. My boobs get sore, and they have gone up in cup size. I get acne when it's time for my period, but that's it. My hunger has been the same. When it's that time, I crave fried foods. I like the pill, just wish I wasn't so emotional. My sex drive is awesome. Hopefully, I will get my period irregular."

For Birth Control "Tarina Fe 1/20 is the first brand of birth control I've tried. I didn't have any of the common side effects-no nausea, no weight gain, no headaches. However, my period has been out of control. Before getting on Tarina, my period would last 3-4 days, with some severe cramping and bleeding the first day, then leveling off. Now, I get a period the week BEFORE the sugar pills, lasting the whole week. Bleeding stops for the first day or two of the sugar pill, then I get to deal with another 4 or 5 days of bleeding from the sugar pill. All in all, it's about a 2-week long period. I'm on my 4th pack, and this happens like clockwork every month. The doctor switched me to a pill with higher estrogen, but I may wait out my last 2 packs of Tarina to see if, by some miracle, it regulates. Really liked the experience of having minimal side effects, but can't deal with the nonstop bleeding."

For Birth Control "If you already have a lot of personality, this pill probably isn't for you. Mood swings were very common. I'm talking 0 to mega alpha psychotic in oscillations. Taking it at night had a caffeine-like effect. Cramping during the beginning of my cycle was almost negligible. Appetite was ravenous then leveled off towards the end of the pack. Libido was slightly decreased as well as slight vaginal dryness."

For Birth Control "I was specifically put on this kind because the other kinds of birth control gave me severe mood swings. This helped with that. However, it made my period come a week before the placebo pills every single month. Not only that, but it made my cramps absolutely awful."

For Birth Control "So I'm coming up on like 8 months. It's the same medicine I had before, just the color of the pill changed. One thing I don't like about this is that I have bad periods that last way longer than usual and cramps. They are bad, but on the plus side... no weight gain, no acne. This probably is the best birth control I have ever had..."

For Birth Control "I am 26 years old and this is my first time ever taking birth control. I started taking this particular one 3 weeks ago to help me have a lighter period, but I am now on the 7th day of my period (it usually lasts 5 days). I think I’m done taking BC period! I tried and honestly can’t stand to have such a long period and cramps throughout my entire cycle."

For Birth Control "This BC is the worst. My nausea is off the charts; I feel like I’m constantly going to throw up, although the feeling is strongest when I first wake up or eat something. I literally have no sex drive; just the thought exhausts me, which has never been an issue in the past. It also makes me more tired than usual. I’ve also started developing extremely painful cramps and bloating. Can’t wait to switch."

For Birth Control "So unlike everyone else’s comments here, I love Tarina. The last birth control made me so actually sick 24/7, I couldn’t get out of bed. With Tarina, I’ve had a small amount of breakouts (masks add onto that) and a bit of weight gain (quarantine too). My breasts have been a tad sore every couple of weeks, but it isn’t terrible. My periods are shorter, my cramps aren’t as bad until I'm on my period, but they still aren’t nearly as bad, I can take 1 pill of Pamprin and be fine. I have noticed I’m a bit moodier before my periods but, again, Pamprin or any PMS pill can help with that. Everyone’s body is different! Just try it, after a couple of months, if it’s not working for you, go see your doctor or whomever. Also, starting Tarina, I wasn’t nauseated, but I was a bit moody and had mild cramps off and on for a few weeks with a few zits here and there, but that’s just from a huge rush of estrogen our bodies will be accepting!"
