For Birth Control "I got pregnant!!! I took the pill every single day at 8 a.m. Five months in -- pregnant. Also -- I felt emotionally crazy and would randomly bleed the entire time I took the pill. Could not possibly be more disappointed. I feel less hormonal pregnant than I did on that 'birth control' pill."

For Birth Control "There are certain things I really enjoy about this pill. It makes my periods very light and tolerable. Off of birth control, my periods are accompanied by horrible cramps, and I would bleed heavily for 5 days. On the pill, I rarely experience a cramp, and my bleeding is light for about 2 days. I have noticed I have been a bit more emotional and fatigued around the time of my period, but it's not to a level I can't handle. There is one very bad side effect for me. I'm not completely sure if it's the pill, so I plan to get it checked out by a doctor. Ever since I started to take this brand of birth control, I've had vaginal dryness. I believe this is causing my vagina to tear and bleed during sex."

For Birth Control "I was skeptical of this birth control after reading reviews, but decided to give it a shot anyway. I started taking it toward the tail end of my period, and everything seemed okay, a little nausea but nothing too bad. But then two days after my period ended, I started bleeding again. HEAVY. Almost scary amounts of blood, especially considering my normal period was a bit heavier than usual as well. I was also insanely bloated compared to usual. The thing that’s making me quit is the mood changes. I burst into tears for no reason, which is so unlike me, and I find myself being rude and on a short fuse out of nowhere. This is the first time I’ve taken birth control since I was a teenager, and it’s definitely been a terrible experience. I wouldn’t recommend."

For Birth Control "I have been a crazy emotional mess, especially the last 8 or so months. I’ve been on Tarina Fe for almost 2 years, just got switched to a higher hormone pill in hopes it can help with the mood swings. I’ve been sticking it out on this pill because I don’t have insurance, so I couldn’t afford to keep going back to the doctor to find a better fit until now. Never had an issue with the breakthrough bleeding until the last 5 months. Very strange considering I’ve been on it so long. I’m hoping that a different pill can get my hormones regulated and get my moods back on track!"

For Birth Control "I've been using Tarina Fe for just over 4 months now, and I'm pretty happy with the results! I started taking it because I was having irregular periods, and I was also having some intense period cramps. My cycles have been super regular since starting Tarina, and I have been getting basically zero cramps. I've also noticed my periods are significantly shorter, they only last 2-3 days. I've only had a few side effects since starting this, and they really only lasted the first 2 months. I had some noticeable bleeding the second week of my first pack, and I haven't experienced any spotting since then. I also had some nausea during the first two packs, but I started taking my pill with a snack, which really helped, and by the third pack, I wasn't feeling nauseous anymore. I haven't experienced any weight gain, acne, or mood changes while taking Tarina. Overall, in terms of regulating my cycle, improving cramps, and as a birth control, it's been working great!"

For Birth Control "While I'm sure this pill prevents pregnancy, I stopped taking it two days ago because a week into my first pack I started bleeding heavily. Was almost done with the second week, and it has yet to stop. I also developed what seems like a yeast infection, but worse! I can usually treat a yeast infection in a couple of days with garlic clove and plain yogurt, no problem, but I'm still in hell thanks to Tarina Fe."

For Birth Control "So I’m 32. After taking a break from IUD, which I had for 10 years, I decided to give the birth control a try: “Tarina.” This pill has me super emotional, hungry. It’s been 3 months and I’m bleeding on and off, and it’s so annoying. So with that being said, back on the IUD I go! Thumbs down."

For Birth Control "Been on this pill for almost a year, and it has been a rocky experience. My periods are always irregular, and I feel like I never stop bleeding. I’ve been taking it on time for the most part, and regardless, it just didn’t get any better. I have to switch. I’m seeing my doctor this week to change! I’m just not adjusting to it very well, at all."

For Birth Control "I've been on this BC for 2.5 months now, and I hate it. At first, it was the acne all around my eyes and forehead, and the abdominal pains constantly. Then, in the second month, the bleeding never stopped. I wouldn't call it spotting, because it was more than that. Sometimes heavy bleeding for a random day, sometimes a glob, and I've passed a couple of clots. I came on here looking if I was crazy or if it was the BC, because my mood is out of control. I'm anxious, sad, depressed, I don't feel like myself anymore. My sex drive is non-existent, and the vaginal dryness is unbearable. It's good to know I'm not crazy. Hopefully, I can switch and relieve myself of these side effects."

For Birth Control "Tarina Fe 1/20 is the first brand of birth control I've tried. I didn't have any of the common side effects-no nausea, no weight gain, no headaches. However, my period has been out of control. Before getting on Tarina, my period would last 3-4 days, with some severe cramping and bleeding the first day, then leveling off. Now, I get a period the week BEFORE the sugar pills, lasting the whole week. Bleeding stops for the first day or two of the sugar pill, then I get to deal with another 4 or 5 days of bleeding from the sugar pill. All in all, it's about a 2-week long period. I'm on my 4th pack, and this happens like clockwork every month. The doctor switched me to a pill with higher estrogen, but I may wait out my last 2 packs of Tarina to see if, by some miracle, it regulates. Really liked the experience of having minimal side effects, but can't deal with the nonstop bleeding."

For Birth Control "Started my 13-year-old on this for acne only. She completed one pack, and her acne is worse than ever! Also, she bled really heavily for 2 weeks. I'm actually glad she doesn't have to go to school right now."

For Birth Control "So this is not my first time being on this birth control. I took it about a year ago right after I got my IUD removed. It was great, although I had a few symptoms, such as depression from time to time. I decided to take a break from birth control after being on this medication for 5-6 months. So fast forward to today, I did not have a great experience getting back on this birth control. I started 3 weeks ago and have been bleeding for 11 days straight, and the flow is heavy. I don't know what's going on, or what has changed, but this is horrible! I had this same experience when I had a Depo shot (which I thought was the worst birth control ever), but I can say that Tarina Fe 1/20 just about compares! I threw this pack in the garbage, along with my other unopened pack!"

For Birth Control "I have irregular periods and can go months without them. I'd been suffering from a lengthy period since starting the pills. At first, they stopped it for the first few days of the first week. But then the bleeding only came right back and 10 times worse, and I'm halfway through the month, and I can't take this. I want to just stop taking this. But I don't know what to do. This made me way too emotional. My stomach feels like it's being stabbed. I don't truly ever get cramps, but I want to cry - 3 weeks added onto this means my period is over a month. I honestly just want to cry. I'm in so much pain."

For Birth Control "I didn't break out that much, occasional zit, but my skin was mainly clear. Other than that, my mood swings did get a little out of hand. Rarely bled, maybe once every two months, but only for one day. My sex drive was decent, but dryness was an issue."

For Birth Control "Sooooo... I’ve tried every kind of birth control known to (wo)man: implant, IUD, the worst — depo, mini pills, combo pills, 7 different pills to be exact. Tarina was the latest. I have now been off of it for 10 days. I’ve shed pounds and water weight, I’m no longer a short fuse, I can think straight again, I’m not stuttering over my words anymore, I don’t go into full-blown rage out of nowhere, I don’t want to eat 24/7, my face has cleared, my hair isn’t coming out in clumps. I truly thought depo was the worst, but now it’s a close second to Tarina. Avoid this BC at ALL COSTS. Unless you want to be a rude, angry, bloated, bald, bloated, pimply cow. It is the WORST. Oh, and I bled ALL THE TIME."
