Microgestin Fe 1/20 (ethinyl estradiol / norethindrone) for Birth Control "I absolutely hate this medication. They gave it to me because my Junel Fe was on backorder. Horrible mood swings, zero sex drive whatsoever, symptoms of depression, breakthrough bleeding, and lack of interest within things I previously loved. I didn't use this for the purpose of preventing pregnancy, but it didn't even work for the things I needed it for. Everyone is different, but I have never experienced such dark emotions in my life, and this was a horrible experience."

Lo Loestrin Fe (ethinyl estradiol / norethindrone) for Birth Control "I decided to switch to Loloestrin FE after being on Beyaz for 2 months. I felt fine at the start but by the week before my period I began to feel really down. Then one day I had a panic attack. This has never happened to me before. It freaked me out so I stopped taking it altogether. For the next month I felt ok but by my next period all hell broke loose. What followed was a month of extreme anxiety. I felt as though I was in mourning. I had multiple panic attacks. I went to a doctor and was prescribed xanax. I began looking into psychiatrists and researching anxiety meds, thinking I was broken for life. I took time off work and devoted all my energy to trying to get better. I am pleased to say that 2 months after stopping, I finally felt like me again. This pill traumatized me and greatly disrupted my life. It's especially dangerous for women who are prone to anxiety/depression. If you are experiencing something similar just know that it will be ok and things will get better."

Blisovi Fe 1/20 (ethinyl estradiol / norethindrone) "Ladies, this pill Blisovi Fe 1/20 has been the biggest most positive life changer I've been so fortunate to have - I took it for adenomyosis. I've spent many years trying different hormone and non hormone birth control options and had absolutely sworn off any and all hormones since I had tried pretty much everything on the market. Over the last couple of years I've developed extremely painful periods that have kept me from functioning at all. I became open to whatever my ob/gyn wanted to try so we tried Blisovi Fe four months ago and not only have I been able to bypass my period completely, I have zero side effects :) Nothing at all!! No spotting, weight gain headaches tenderness - nada. I'm so grateful for this you have no idea!!"

Loestrin 24 Fe (ethinyl estradiol / norethindrone) for Birth Control "I have been on Loestrin for about 9 months now and took it to both reduce my period and birth control. I used to get my period for 7 to 9 days and it would be extremely heavy to the point I had to change every hour to 2 hours. Yes I know horrible, and ever since I started taking Loestrin I have mt period for 4 days at the most and it's super light. When I first started the pills I still would bleed a little between periods but after about 3 months all that went away. I used to forget but I use an alarm now and it works, I never forget now. I haven't had any side effects, no weight gain but I haven't gotten my period this month and I'm not pregnant. I would rather have my period for at least a day so I wont get scared that I'm pregnant."

Lo Loestrin Fe (ethinyl estradiol / norethindrone) for Birth Control "I'm starting my second month of using Lo Loestrin Fe. I tried other birth control pills at different dosages but they would make me feel really dizzy and sick. My doctor provided me with Lo Loestrin Fe and so far I have not felt as bad as I had before with previous birth control methods. I have felt somewhat dizzy but quickly goes away. The only main concern is why I have not started my period yet. I know the pill can affect your body in different ways but I don't like that you don't know if whether it's because of the pill or if you're pregnant. I have been cramping and have really tender breasts but no period. Don't know if this is normal or not which is why I came to look over these reviews. Looks like it really depends on the person."

Lo Loestrin Fe (ethinyl estradiol / norethindrone) for Birth Control "The very first day I started on this pill I went looking for reviews. To be completely honest I have no idea why I did this because it just scared the crap out of me and made me believe I was going to have some crazy side effects or symptoms. I believe most of us go out of our way to write a review when a product is negative, therefore we see all the bad. From my personal experience this pill was AH-MAZING. Firstly, I was terrified of weight gain. I already struggle to keep my weight low and suffer from a slow metabolism. I have to workout and eat healthily regularly. I have gained no weight. I've had a regular period. No break outs and no long lasting spotting. No sex drive issues. No mood swings. I have been completely unaffected :) y"

Loestrin 24 Fe (ethinyl estradiol / norethindrone) for Polycystic Ovary Syndrome "Second week on this, prescribed for my Polycysitc ovarian syndrome. I lost 4 pounds. I went from 146lbs to 142lbs in just a little over several days. I never had acne, so nothing in that department. But being 5 '5 my doctors want me to a healthy 115-125 to reduce my PCOS. Nothing but great things. I feel more feminine and less aggressive since my testosterone was so high."

Lo Loestrin Fe (ethinyl estradiol / norethindrone) for Birth Control "** DO NOT TAKE THIS PILL ** If you have any underlying mental health issues/anxiety or anything I do not recommend this pill at all. I have pretty mild anxiety, I don’t take anything for it, but I do not suffer from depression. I took Lo Lo and immediately, the first day of taking it I got depression symptoms. By day 2 and 3 I had suicidal thoughts and I have NEVER in my life been suicidal. Literally nothing was wrong but I was uncontrollably sobbing every day and having suicidal thoughts. It was the most messed up feeling like I couldn’t even function any more. It took me 4 days to realize it was the Lo Lo so I stopped and I am finally feeling better. I could not believe how awful the symptoms were so I had to leave a review to let anyone considering Lo Lo to know what it can do to your mental health."

Junel Fe 1.5/30 (ethinyl estradiol / norethindrone) for Birth Control "I’ve been reading a lot of these reviews and unfortunately have read that most people have really bad experiences with this birth control. Personally, this is the first birth control I have taken that hasn’t completely ruined my life. My boobs have gotten bigger, I’m finally filling out, my acne is clearing up, and I haven’t had any nausea/depression. Strangely, while most reviewers have noticed a decrease in sex drive, mine has increased and vaginal dryness is not a thing for me. I think it is safe to say that this form of bc is not for everyone, but it is worth a shot."

Lo Loestrin Fe (ethinyl estradiol / norethindrone) for Birth Control "Ladies do not take this medication. The month I began this Lo Loestrin Fe pill my life became a bit of a nightmare. The first month I had spotting every other day then a horrible yeast infection (my 1st one EVER) during my actual period on the fourth week. During the 2nd month I had breakthrough bleeding every other day, a period the 2nd week and another during the inactive week. My mood has been so high and low. I have no desire to have sex whatsoever. I honestly feel really crazy!!! No sleep, no eating, and an overall feeling of dread/failure/sadness. Almost finish with the 4th pack and I lost count of how many blood free days I've had because I've been bleeding ALL MONTH and not little droplets. I'm talking enough to wear a regular tampon. Officially done with this and going to just try the fertility awareness method because no BC seems compatible with my body :("

Blisovi Fe 1/20 (ethinyl estradiol / norethindrone) for Birth Control "I started taking Bilsovi after my pharmacy switched me from taytulla. I was only on it for a month and a half. Aside from the fact my skin was completely clear, the side effects were horrible for me. I gained some weight and my mood swings were horrible. I've never in my life experienced severe anxiety until taking this pill. I genuinely thought I was going crazy. I never struggled with panic attacks until this pill. Every morning I woke up anxious. I also experienced really bad cramping and pelvic pain. And mild breast tenderness. I ended up convincing myself I was pregnant. I’ve been off of it for a week now and I feel like my normal self. I’d be cautious on this one."

Loestrin 24 Fe (ethinyl estradiol / norethindrone) for Endometriosis "First, I want to say how terribly saddened I am to see the comments from so many women about endometriosis and taking birth control pills to "cure" it. It goes to show how severely inadequate and ignorant our health care system is when it comes to women and this debilitating disease. Birth control does not fix endo. It does not cure it. The ONLY treatment that has a chance of curing endo is expert excision surgery by a skilled surgeon. Laparoscopy is just a diagnostic tool. Not a treatment. Birth control can help some of the symptoms for some women. But it does nothing to actually fix it. Please ladies, ask questions, research your disease. Most doctors still don't know the basics of endo, which is frightening!"

Junel Fe 1/20 (ethinyl estradiol / norethindrone) for Birth Control "PLEASE READ IF YOU ARE CONFLICTED. I’ve taken birth control before and I remember my first pill was pretty high in dosage and made me crazy. I vowed I’d NEVER go back on birth control. However, I decided to give it another go 2 years later. My doctor prescribed me Junel & honestly I luv it. I remember looking up this brand and became instantly terrified. I won’t lie the first 30 days of this pill were bad. I was so nauseas, had breast pain, bloated, any symptom you can get, I got intensely. But after the 1st month all my symptoms were gone. My period has never been skipped due to the pill. It comes the 3rd Friday of every month like clock work. (which was amazing since I’ve always had an irregular period) my periods are light-med and last 2-3 days. This pill is amazing. I haven’t gained weight from the pill, haven’t missed a period or had crazy mood swings. I was so scared to go on this pill but I’m truly glad I did. If you just wait up the 30-60 days of awfulness, you won’t regret"

Everyone else is saying the opposite so I'm wondering why my results are different. Maybe I just need to give it more time for my body to get use to it."

Microgestin Fe 1/20 (ethinyl estradiol / norethindrone) for Birth Control "I cannot believe the negative reviews on this. They did scare me, but I still gave it a shot, and have NEVER been happier with a birth control! My acne is cleared up, my sex drive is still incredible, I have LOST WEIGH and my periods are almost NON EXISTENT! The only thing I wish is that I would have gotten on this sooner! I love this birth control and I suggest trying it before buying into the negative reviews. Everyone is different."

Blisovi Fe 1.5/30 (ethinyl estradiol / norethindrone) for Birth Control "Don’t listen to the bad reviews! As someone else stated, people who have good experiences tend to not leave a review. I was terrified to take this Blisovi Fe 1.3/30 birth control because of all the bad reviews. I took the risk anyway and I’ve had literally zero of the horrible symptoms others reported (apart from a mild headache the first couple days). I have PCOS, I feel like the hirsutism (unwanted facial hair) has slowed and I’m losing weight (although I am watching my food). Give it a shot!"

Junel Fe 24 (ethinyl estradiol / norethindrone) for Birth Control "I’m not great with keeping a SPECIFIC time but I always take this pill between 11:30am and 12pm. This pill should take about 3-6 months to regulate in your body. Within those months it’s normal to feel some mood swings, slight changes in period, &/or weight gain so don’t worry. Prior to this pill, my periods were 5-7 days tops. First period while being on this pill lasted 2 weeks, the second lasted a week. From the third month moving forward my periods last about 3-5 days tops with no ovulation. My period dates also shift a bit. I didn’t notice any mood swings until about the 6th month. To today I sometimes feel sad or depressed & I won’t know why. I also cry a lot easier now. It’s nothing I’m concerned over tho, not too bad, & the mood swings are easy for me to quickly get over. Positive side effect: my breasts have gotten noticeably bigger. My bf has also “finished” in me multiple times with no pregnancy outcome so the pill has been doing it’s job. I’d recommend"

Taytulla (ethinyl estradiol / norethindrone) for Birth Control "I never leave reviews but I researched this A TON before going on it. There is more negative than positive, which scared me. This is the first form of BC I've been on, so I did NOT want any crazy side effects. I kept a log of weight, moods, nausea, etc. each day and there is barely anything to report. A little nausea at first, but nothing an afternoon ginger ale couldn't fix. My periods were already short and light and now they are even better. I've always had light breakouts before my period and I still somewhat do. It's easier for people to write about bad experiences vs. good, so I just wanted to include some positivity for anyone thinking about trying it."

Blisovi Fe 1/20 (ethinyl estradiol / norethindrone) for Birth Control "Everyone's body is different but for me Blisovi side effect was getting too much for me to handle. I think I should start with the pros because not everything was bad. PRO: I liked how it kept me on schedule. Period change from 6 days to 4 and lighter flow. And of course kept me from getting pregnant. Cons: I couldn't keep control of my weight and gained 20 pounds really fast no matter the exercise or healthy foods I was eating. I have a family history of diabetes so I try to make sure my weight is manageable. At first I correlated to Covid and being stuck indoors so I ended up doing more cardio outside almost everyday but for the life of me couldn't change my weight. Went from 130 to 150 pounds and I'm 23 with a history of consistent weight before I took the pill. If I took a break for a couple of days I'd gain all the weight back plus more. Lastly, my sex drive was nonexistent. I've been on the Blisovi Fe 1/20 for 8 months now and decided another birth control method is best for me."

Blisovi 24 Fe (ethinyl estradiol / norethindrone) for Birth Control "This pill honestly worked our really well for me even though I was terrified to start taking it after reading all of the reviews. It made my period much lighter although it took about 3 months to notice that change. I will say my period sometimes comes on the second week of my active pills or it will not come at all for some months. This doesn’t personally bother me but it is something to consider. I think I lost about 20 pounds from this pill which was great for me.. there’s no true evidence it was from the pill but I didn’t change my diet or exercise at all. Overall, I’ve had a very positive experience. Don’t let the negative reviews on here scare you.. people are much more likely to write about their bad experiences than their good experiences."

Femhrt (ethinyl estradiol / norethindrone) for Postmenopausal Symptoms "This medication completely changed my life for the better. Also having a thyroid autoimmune disease, menopause was worse for me, a bad endocrine "cocktail" as it were, and I was for almost a year brought to my knees with 20 or more knee buckling hot flash episodes a day that caused so much joint and limb pain I couldn't walk, severe depression, was nearly bedridden from lack of energy and episodes that were almost anxiety attacks (never had them before). Within 3 weeks of taking FemHrt, it nearly all ceased. I got my life back."

Aurovela Fe 1/20 (ethinyl estradiol / norethindrone) for Birth Control "This is the 3rd time I have attempted to take birth control. I have severe ovulation issues and my DR thought trying a “low dose pill” would help. Aurovela Fe is absolutely awful. I’m on my 2nd month, week 2 of the pack and I’ve never experienced anxiety and mood swings this severely in my life! Sobbing crying, even having emotional breakdowns. I have GI issues already, and this pill has made them even worse. And the breast tenderness?! I thought they just hurt, but my significant other even mentioned how much larger they looked. Oh, and the bloating is also severe, like really bad. I’m 31 and I’ve never felt like my life was spiraling out of control, until I started taking this. I’m not even giving it a chance to “level out.” Will be stopping cold turkey. If I could give this zero stars...I would give it a negative 5."

Taytulla (ethinyl estradiol / norethindrone) for Birth Control "I was on Yaz for over 10 years. Started experiencing debilitating cramps during sex and after bowel movements about 2 years ago. Doc thought I may have endometriosis, but recommended I try a lower dose birth control first before doing any invasive testing. Let me tell you...I wish I knew about this pill a long time ago! Within the first week, my cramps subsided, my mood got increasingly better, and I enjoy sex now for the first time in a long time. I really hope there is someone out there that reads this amongst all of the negative reviews. I had zero negative side effects and have been on it for 6 months now. Taytulla saved my marriage! Insurance pays 100% as well with most carriers which is a nice added bonus :)"
