"I have been on this medication for 4 months. Over the years, I have taken so many different kinds and dealt with so many side effects I couldn't stand to be on any hormonal birth control. Besides preventing pregnancy, I wanted to be on one to balance out my hormones (I'm 1 year postpartum and have had issues with fatigue, irritability, and depression as well as painful/long periods). The first month on this medication, I still dealt with mood swings and low moods, and was exhausted. The first 2 months, I had the worst acne of my life and still bled lightly when I would normally have my period. I decided to continue giving it a chance and on month 3 my acne cleared up almost completely and my mental health is the best it's ever been. I finally have my normal energy level back. I do still spot occasionally, but the actual period I got at the end of month 3 was light and not very painful. I have endometriosis and I believe it's helping alleviate some of that pain."

"I had my daughter March 30, 2018, she was a preemie baby. After my 3 weeks of healing, I started this birth control, and I’ve been bleeding ever since. Today is May 31, 2018, and I’m still bleeding heavily. I used to take this birth control as a teenager, and it used to stop my period for a few months at a time, and when I did get a period, it wasn’t heavy, and it only lasted 3-4 days. It also made me lose a bunch of weight. I don’t know what the difference is, but something is totally different here."

"The first contraceptive pill that works for me. No depression with this pill, just a few weeks of heavy PMS-like symptoms (cramps, exhaustion, moodiness) at first, then it stabilized. Trustworthy, predictable, and not having a period but once a quarter has been nice."

"I suggest this BC anytime someone asks or complains about their BC or their period. However, I will note it is best when you take the actual Camrese and not a “comparable” med. I switched pharmacies because one always gave me Ashlynna as a substitute, and I definitely noticed way more breakthrough bleeding, plus the package is cardboard, and if it gets wet (I travel a lot and carry water bottles), the case will fall apart, vs. actual Camrese the package is plastic and much more durable. I have taken this almost 3 years now, and it’s GREAT. No pregnancies and a period only 3 months. The only thing I will say is I start spotting that third month and randomly sometimes before the placebo week, but it is just as stated... spotting. NOT a full-blown period. Cramps are barely existent, and my flow is not as heavy. Plus, an actual period only comes during placebos. Best pill I’ve ever tried, and I’ve been on birth control almost a decade."

"This is the worst birth control I’ve ever been on. I have ovarian cysts, and they use birth control to regulate them. I have early onset bipolar disorder, depression, and GAD that I am all medicated for, but this has made my anxiety and depression go off the charts, with a bit of mania in there. Also, I’ve always been worried about my weight and my body, and this made me gain back all of the weight I just lost. I really don't like this medication."

"I got on birth control for my horrible cramps and to prevent getting pregnant. I have had mostly ups but some downs using this birth control. You must make sure to take it every day around the same time because it does affect you when you are supposed to get your period. Also, I have major mood swings now, depression, and gained weight with taking this. It does help majorly with my cramps and how much I was bleeding."

"I've only been on this for a few days, and I know my body needs time to adjust, but I just spent the last 4 hours (3-7 am!) throwing up without cease. I have had horrible, horrible cramps, like on-the-floor-screaming cramps (which is why I started taking these pills), but at least those only lasted an hour at a time tops! I'm worried about missing school, and I can at least try to manage my cramps like I have before. I can't vouch for its effectiveness, only the side effects I suffered, but I may consider trying it again during a break when my body has time to adjust without worrying about missing classes."

"I've been on Camrese for almost a month. Before, I was on Lo Seasonique, which I loved better. I switched because I was told it helped better with cramps and lightened your period, but, oh my god, I've been spotting ever since I've been on it! My period was due last week, but I've just been spotting. I'm on my last week of pills this week. I take my pill every morning on time, never miss, still spotting, smh. I'm calling my doctor, telling him I need to switch back. It's literally like you're on your period for a whole month! I don't recommend at all!"
