"Works amazingly at keeping thrush at bay and delivering oestrogen to the vagina. Inserting is a breeze. However, removing it is a chore. I wish there was a string attached like a tampon to remove it easier"

"Definitely helped with the constant dryness & discomfort. Only thing is I have slight shortness of breath and tightness in chest. Can't think of what else it could be as I take no other meds. Can not reach it to remove, have to go to obgyn to have it removed."

"I’m having significant incontinence since I started using Estring 2 months ago. Especially, when bending and picking up grand baby. I took it out twice (not easy) and the incontinence decreased considerably. I don’t know if the position it lands in is causing pressure on my bladder."

"I couldn't use it. The thing is HUGE and wouldn't "fit." It was very uncomfortable. I even had my health professional attempt to position it and she couldn't either."

"Having a miserable time getting the ring placed correctly. Hoping that I can work through this issue because I'm not getting much relief from the creams. Also, with coupon it cost $400."

"I'm 54 years old and have noticed that the Estring's effectiveness has plummeted in the last year. Used to work like magic, now sex is so painful I cry. Deal breaker when they're $400!"

"I’m 66 and had a total hysterectomy 8 years ago due to vaginal collapse. In recent years the Goretex sutures at the top of my vagina have been poking out; I can feel a couple of prickly points. Intercourse became painful, especially deep thrusting and I feel it’s due to a shorter vagina. My GYN thinks is it’s more due to thinning of the vaginal walls—although it’s not the walls that hurt; it’s at the top, as if my husband is ramming into a brick wall. He doesn’t feel any difference. I got my estring this week. Impossible to insert it so it doesn’t keep my vagina open which feels like it did when my cervix used to be way down there prior to surgery. I was in tears trying to push it up and because I’d just spend $300 for something I can tell won’t work. I’m also on an estrogen cream—a compound—which I’ve been on before but couldn’t really tell if it worked."
