Bijuva (estradiol / progesterone) for Postmenopausal Symptoms "Been taking for 6 months. I have cramps often. Seems like I’m angry and irritable often. I feel heat under my skin in areas. Calling my doctor tomorrow. I want to stop taking this. I took another brand called Duavee for a couple of years with no side effects. I just got tired of paying $125 a month. These are $50. I think I’d rather pay more and get off of Bijuva."

My best friend started taking it about a month ago And she can not complete a sentence without crying her eyes out She has not ever been so emotional and we were wondering if anyone else has had this side effect . Bijuva (estradiol / progesterone) for Perimenopausal Symptoms "I am finishing up my 3rd month on this medication. It did stop my hot flashes but I started getting back pain by my kidney's. Blood tests showed nothing. Now I'm feeling it in my gallbladder. I'm hesitant to stop because I do feel better, but have been worried about this medication hurting my body. My doctor has no idea about the medication, so to ask any medical professional about does no good. I really think we are all testing this product for the side effects. Kidneys and gallbladder seem to take the hit with this. I'm going to try a low does of an antidepressant, which was suggested by my doctor. I'm also going to research the Duavee medication that was mentioned before I switch. I just had an ultrasound to check my fibroid that was spotted a few years ago. Didn't say if it was growing but they did spot another small one. I'm on the fence at this time."

Bijuva (estradiol / progesterone) for Perimenopausal Symptoms "I been taking Bijuva for 2 months now and suddenly I have bleeding at first it was like spotting then would stop and a few days later come back now I have severe cramping pain in my right side and the heavy bleeding started this lasted about 4 days stopped and the bleeding came back . It has really helped my hot flashes a great deal , so I’m not sure if I want to continue taking this medication or not my Dr says that the bleeding is not from taking the Bijuva"

Bijuva (estradiol / progesterone) for Menopausal Disorders "I started having extremely painful stomach contractions after a couple of days of Bijuva. It came in waves like a gallbladder attack, and equally as painful. I endured that for about a week, thinking it was due to another cause. I also experienced dizziness - also to the extreme- maybe the 10th day if treatment. The room was spinning and it scared as anything. If I closed my eyes, I was okay. So I lay there for hours until the spinning was gone. Then I research the drugs side effects and noticed both of those things on the list. So the next day I did not take the Bijuva and I haven't had an issue with my stomach, or feeling dizzy since then. It was pretty unbelievable really. It worked great on the hot flashes though- completely eliminated while taking this medicine. I wish I could tolerate it !!!"

Bijuva (estradiol / progesterone) for Menopausal Disorders "I had many MP symptoms , increasingly since 43 (I’m 48) Periods stopped over two years ago, hot flushes, anxiety, severe brain fog, poor sleep, aches and pains, emotional/irritability, inability to function got too much so requested HRT . was already prescribed Citralopram in 2020 still on that. After two months Bijuve fixed ALL of the above, energy was slowly coming back too, everything else corrected and I started to feel like me again was so happy. After the second month, I had a period, I’m Convinced it was a ‘normal”’ period as it happened EXACTLY as they always had, every element identical, from mini cramp up front to discharge and then exactly the same from start to end, I was regular as clock work until they stopped Told Doctor and was told to stop taking Bijuve immediately and switched to Elise. Two months later ALL my original symptoms are worse than ever, some days I have to shower three times. Now a recluse"

Bijuva (estradiol / progesterone) for Postmenopausal Symptoms "Definitely lifts that brain fog during the day and helps me sleep. Have been on it for 6 months now. I have had a few headaches and am slightly constipated My breasts are less puffy compared with the estrogen gel ./progesterone combo. I will continue to take HRT for a few more years but I would like to try patches as well at some point but will definitely stay with bioidentical products."

Bijuva (estradiol / progesterone) for Menopausal Disorders "I’ve been using Bijuva for two months to treat hot flashes. I was having up to 30 per day and was going crazy. Initially the medication worked but now I’m back to having multiple hot flashes per day and I can’t lose any weight no matter how much I work out. I’m meeting with my doctor next week to seek alternatives. I want to discontinue this medication."

Bijuva (estradiol / progesterone) for Menopausal Disorders "I've been on this for approximately 6 months now and haven't had any side effects from taking it. The cost of it has come down to $30, which is great! I was having numerous hot flushes all day, every day, especially at work, and it was exhausting to say the least, especially working in a pharmacy. This drug has stopped my flushes and I feel like I'm normal again!"

I also had no get up and go so I was really hoping this would help. So far, nothing... It does say it takes 4-5 weeks before you experience the benefit, so I will stick with it for now."

Bijuva (estradiol / progesterone) for Postmenopausal Symptoms "I've only been taking this for 6 days and since day 3 I have an abdominal pain it's not nice. Especially when I go to the toilet and need to push a bit. Very uncomfortable. So I'm gonna stop this meds and see if it passes."

Bijuva (estradiol / progesterone) for Postmenopausal Symptoms "I have now been taking Bijuva for 3 months and thought I did not have any side effects. To be honest my skin look better and I don't have any hot flushes any more, unfortunately I have had 3 quite bad urine infections since I started the treatment and I am seriously wondering if this is a side effect of the tablet? Going to visit my gynae to see if this is the case. Has anybody else had this problem?"

Bijuva (estradiol / progesterone) for Postmenopausal Symptoms "I started taking Bijuva a year and a half ago when I was 58 for a strange sensation just as I was falling asleep at night - adrenaline surges that kept waking me all night long. I thought it might be due to a decrease in female hormones, so I talked to my gynecologist about going on HRT. She prescribed Bijuva. After about a month, the surges subsided, I could fall asleep, and I had less vaginal dryness. I did have some spotting, but I was so happy about the other improvements, I could put up with the spotting. While the Bijuva took care of the adrenaline 'zaps,' I was not sleeping through the night, so I consulted a menopause specialist, who added more progesterone to the Bijuva (a separate pill). Since I've been on the additional progesterone, the adrenaline surges are back, and I feel anxious again, but the spotting has stopped. I'm going to talk to my doctor about returning to just the one Bijuva pill again and no additional progesterone. Hope it helps!"

Bijuva (estradiol / progesterone) for Menopausal Disorders "WARNING I had a STROKE ONLY 45 days after starting Bijuva. No previous conditions, nothing. I hope this is an ALERT FOR ALL WOMEN OUT THERE . Strokes can kill YOU and the doctors don’t say it."
